i have a couple of 150 hps somewhere up in the loft . i will run a vert grow micro scale with a 150 watt hps. i just need to doiuble check to orientation of the bulbs that i have. i'm sure they are universal. 150 vert in my tent net to my cdm will be fine. the mars hydro can go in the loft ready to use in spring .

once the haze comes down i will set up vert leds for under the cdm and a vert hps in the spare space. i could go to town or add bigger units but i'm on a budget and that will be plenty enough for testing and smoking
Think I saw someone running 150W CMH here quite recently, quick googling verified that they certainly exist even if he was running some other power. Might be worth considering when and if you need to replace a bulb. Nothing wrong with HPS either of course.

i found a couple of 150 watt generic conversion halide bulbs that i wont use , and a venture 150 watt sodium and a 150 watt ballast. finding 150 watt sodiums is not so easy . this one i found looks near brand new thankfully. i have a vert holder somewhere around that i will find.

i need to check this venture bulbs position or orientation . universal or horizontal only

my attic is a retro grow shop

What does the HO on the text on the bulb mean then if not hori? HPS/150W/E40/HO..

High output?
in the pdf i linked it has all the bulbs listed and strike positions listed next to it. the bulbs in the 2021 catalogue are the same as the bulb i bought in 12 by model

the conversion halide type bubs i would not run vertical . i don't trust those as much even if rated at universal

i used to run a single 150 hps in vertical in a 60x60 tent, one plant in each corner.
had it in one of those 'cooltube' thingies.
i have no idea about its specs though...
almost 20 years ago now.
sounds good. i think 70 cm with no glass would be more favourable for me.

i have decided to just finish my tester plants. the space monkey , and the peach x lebs that will be going in shortly. in 10 weeks time i can reset my cab for later winter.

i'm going to put both cdms back up instead of 1. i'm going to run 3 x 60 watt leds vertical in between 8 plants , and then i will use the 150 vertical central as a flowering initiator and supplement to the cdms and leds. i slept on it and came up with that solution . i have a 450 watt 2700 k cfl too , but the 150 watt hid 2100k is more efficient and less power and will supplement fine

i will do one late winter crop of 8 clones of the same strain and do one harvest to boost my stash before i go back to seed testing
