Reminds me, have you guys seen the guy who bought a wheres Waldo and effectively removed Waldo from each page, then returned the book to the store? Pretty funny when you think of the torment that will cause some poor child lol

PC Buds -The differences that set the strains apart so far can be seen in the picture with out zooming. But you do have to do some hunting.

I'm going to be giving it a try...

I've gotta relearn how to draw circles again.

I've been having issues with my LED strips tonight.
(I damn near cooked Em. Lol)

Which of the two girls would you consider to be the prettiest?
That might help me pick her out. Lol

Hey Mars, no worries, I appreciate your interest and the dialogue, I was starting to feel lonely in here ;)

I'm guessing you're thinking that the weight of the flowers might cause branches to "bend" or fall towards the lights?

This strain grows very dense flowers and has a whole lot of bud sites; Lemon Meringue is a terrific yielder, but the flowers don't get very large in size. They're like little rocks. I've grown this plant out once before in a standard horizontal scrog, the branches were tall above the screen and held up the weight of the flowers with ease.

Because this strain has such sturdy stems and upright posture I don't anticipate any bending or falling towards the lights.

That being said, even if this was a strain with heavy large flowers and less sturdy stems; the branches are tied flat to the screen just about everywhere. So they wouldn't fall or bend very much at all.

If it was a heavy leaning cola type strain and flowers were all falling over I could and would just tie them back once more to the screen in a mostly vertical position but let them lean a little bit toward the light.

I don't think the flowers bending would hurt growth or yield very much at all as long as they didn't shade each other out by one falling in front of the other's light, which I wouldn't let happen. I'm very controlling with my girls canopies.

If what you were meaning was the flower tops bending toward the light, like in the middle of the flower to "aim for" or "be facing" the light, in my experience that doesn't really happen with vertical grows. I've seen flower tops grow bent right in the middle of the flowers when I've tied a branch down horizontally a little too late into flower. The top want's to orient itself back to a vertical position I believe, not towards the light above, but it just wants to be vertical, which is why it doesn't really happen with a vertical canopy, because the flowers are happy being vertical.

Any branches that I've had to tie in a downward position however, most of which are at the bottom third of the canopy, and every branch that is at the very bottom; those get all confused and twist themselves strangely trying to reorient to a vertical position. Some of them pop back up facing the right direction but some of them curve toward the box instead of toward the light and I've had to re adjust them in an attempt to "untwist" the tops or turn the bud more toward the light. I believe those tops probably lose a bit momentum in all their confusion and twisting in an attempt to get vertical again and not be upside down.

Sorry for the long winded answer! heh. I hope that shines some light on the subject for ya though.

Here’s one of those upside down branches that was turning inward toward the box. I had to reposition and the best I could get was for it to face sideways.

That is really a long article for me. lol. Thanks for your detalied answer. I learnt something from this. Your grow tech is very smart. :tiphat:

Okay...

Here are my guesses.

For the circle in the middle at the top, I mean the upper bud not both.

Some good guesses you guys. I’ll post a picture soon with the PC circled. You both have some right and some wrong. Tee hee.

Mars - You’re welcome friend, I like to rattle on heh. Thanks for the kind words. :)

I repositioned the bulbs inside the box to try to even out the canopy, and added a third bulb daisy chained to the fixture.

Keep some socket extenders in mind.

They're really convenient and you can aim them around.

I didn't want to lower my fixture so I did this...
Hopefully, I can remove one in a week or so??

Well I am impressed.
From the last picture of your inside-out cabinet it seems cannibas is just a dumb plant.
Love to see some close up shots comparing inside vs outside tip growth. Remember, it ain't science without proper documentation and pics.
Gotta see this through to the first harvest at least. Well done.
Pulling up a recliner I kick back and enjoy a big bag of Venom OG vape. .

On a side note,
Tried to graft some Alien OG onto my two tone Judy 2 days ago. As of last night she had not been rejected and looked like a maybe:). I wanted to thank you again for your grafting tutorial. I know I will get it right eventually. If I can get 1 out of 3 to take I'll be happy. Fat fingers and shitty eyesight really adds a new level of difficulty to such a delicate operation.
I figure if you can make it look easy, I should be able to improve my results to an acceptable level of success. :tiphat:

You’re most welcome Methias, I hope she takes for ya. I will be posting some updates with pics as you described very soon. Hopefully tonight. So far it is going off with out a hitch, save for inside veg canopy being bit yellow.

Thanks, Chevy.

If you've got enough headroom to work with, you can get a bulb socket splitter and some long flexible extenders and easily move and aim your bulbs where you want.

Awesome!

Shame about the veg section. maybe some folar feeding with more nitrogen? I can't remember if you've been doing folar feeding or not.
