Hey StonedGrunt55....I'm getting pretty excited. I've put 4 SD IBL and 4 Pacific G13xSD in a napkin. As of today, all four G13xSD are popped and into the dirt as well as two of the SD IBL's. Just waiting on two more to pop and the rest to start showing their little heads outta the soil so they can go into the cab and veg a bit.

No, not at all amigo!!! Don't EVER worry about that with me!!! The beautiful thing is, I don't have a religious nerve, lol! I just use cannabis in a spiritual fashion like a shaman would any other entheogen. I believe cannabis allows us to experience this reality in a way that isn't possible sober.

That leaf is INSANE!! I can tell the G13 is going to be awesome. That is one PHAT little leaf growing all over itself there!! I bet the buds can't wait to come BUSTING out of that plant!!

Three G13xSD reared their heads and the cab is up and running. So far, 4 of 4 G13xSD popped, and 3 of 4 SD IBL popped and went into dirt. They are in a nice clean cabinet with all the cfl's I could find after moving here to throw at them for the moment.

The fourth SD IBL was being stubborn, and still hadn't popped out as of today. Since it's been in the wet paper towel a couple days now it had softened some, but I was getting worried it may just die off. You can't keep em there too, too long. So, I gave the edges a little scraping with my fingernail, gave the seed a VERY gentle squeeze sideways so as not to just mush the shell, and she cracked open right along her side like she should. I put that back in the paper towel, and after a couple hours it's tail is starting to come out!!! I'll get it in some dirt after I'm sure it's going good.

So, we should have 8 for 8 100% success rate on these seeds!! Just gotta make sure all of them clear the top of the soil and we're home free with 100%!!!

Yeah...it's called scarification, and I was just going to do that, but I decided to see what would happen because I often squeeze seeds to test their viability before germinating. I also know with a seed that dense and not wanting to pop that it was more than likely a very viable embryo in there. That sucker's got a tail and it's in the dirt now too! Woohoo!

Good deal,that's what I like to hear.Thats what I did before I sent them out,rolled them firmly between my thumb and first finger.If they don't crush,they are usually viable.

So, I haven't done really squat with the room. Found another leak in the roof that is delaying things. I'm not sure how severe the problem is going to be yet because I just discovered it.

Anyway...while I wait on that, I have the seedlings going in the cab. They're under about 150+ watts of cfl, so we'll see how that does.

From initial impressions it seems the G13xSD is more vigorous from seed than the SD IBL. One of the SD IBL did not make it to the surface from the soil, so I unearthed it, and it hadn't grown any at all. I guess that one wasn't meant to make it, lol! The IBL's were generally slower to germ and slower to break the surface, unlike the G13 cross which were busting at the seems to get going.

Anyway. I've got four G13xSD and three of the SD IBL. I'm going to let these veg up and see what we get. Hopefully I can then just clone them off and the room will be ready for a run of all females.

Well one of the G13 x SD got the root rot,it was a little too warm when they went in.That is ok though,makes room for the other three.





The haze is budding well,and has good roots,she is almost at 6 foot....

So you still have 3 G13 to flower out? The thaze is forming up nicely. You've got them running very healthy. How often do you flush, or do you just switch nutes a couple weeks into flower? I'm interested to see how hot you run the G13 too...

Yeah,still have 2 in there flowering,and one in the closet still,I'm waiting on fresh juice tomorrow.The haze is on about 1300 ppm,the other two at about 1000.Little frost is starting on the haze,the others weren't put into flower at the same time so they are just starting the stretch.

I'm going to get the other two on about 1500 and see how they do since they are indicas and can handle a little more nutes.

Damn...the G13 is STOUT!! Not to mention the thaze, which will be done first! That thing is going to put out some massive yield, specially if all those long internodes fill completely...sheesh! It's looking like it will be some work training the G13 though, but indicas are my favorite because everything about them is fat! Fat leaves, fat buds, fat resin glands....Oooooh soon enough!

IGT We have seedlings now!! You know, I never intended to take months on end just to get started, but such is life. Murphy's law is S2D's law. If it can go wrong, it DOES go wrong, lol!!

-VT- Yes, I'm very stoked about all these fine genetics. If the G13 is good for pain I'll be in hog heaven!! Few more minor things (including fixing the new roof leak) and I can at least get the two 400's in the room and burning so I can veg these suckers up. Any day now....

I grew a G-13 once and it is definately one for pain,almost narcotic.But the yield was crap.Got the fresh juice in today,gonna change two out tonight.

Well, hopefully this G13xSD cross will be a good yielder and a good medicator! How old was your old batch of nutes? I find mine don't tend to last much beyond 18 mos. before they turn to real crap. Mostly the boost seems to discolor and just doesn't seem right. I also notice a difference in the plants if they're too old. I usually by a gallon of all three parts and 500ml of Thrive Alive B1 and 500ml of Awesome Blossoms. Seems to last me a good while that way. Maybe we should have a thread just for technaflora users. There just doesn't seem to be as many of us around anymore?
