S2D's Build and Grow it BIG!

Well,I got this batch in February right after the house burned,then they sat in a storage unit for about two months,then here to the house.The boost seems to be the one to go first like you have said.I have a good half gallon to get all these thru,but I got the sample pack they have of one quart bottles to make sure they finish off on the good stuff.

The main thing is these nutes do best when it is cold.Before,and one hour after,under fluoro.

Sweet...I love how quick it makes a difference in hydro. Sometimes within literally minutes they will green up if everything is stabilized. I just went ahead and transplanted my seedlings into one gallon pots a little bit ago and gave them some ph'd water. I just realized yesterday I was watering them with 8+ph, so I figured good time to move them up and give them a better soil mix. They were in some cheap stuff, but now they're in some cheap stuff with some extra perlite. I'm going to see how this stuff does, but I will probably transplant again because I couldn't find any worm castings today to make my own mix which I would prefer.

Now I'm starting to think about my boost...I hope it's still good. It's been kept semi-cool anyway.

Well,with an 8 bucket system,you just about have to buy the gallon sizes,but for the cost of one gallon of boost,I can get by with the combo pack.I think I'll just do that from now on,and keep the nutes in the fridge.

And the plant in the pic has all the new recipe stuff for now,but with the old boost and bloom.Later tonight I will try it on just the old recipe,with all new juice to see if there is a big diff,I'm betting there will be.

Ok....update city. So, we have the roofing material now!!! Shouldn't be more than a week or two until we have a whole new roof over this portion of the house where this whole side is a flat roof. Hopefully the new leak won't do much more than cause water stains in there until it's fixed. Everything has been dry since.

It seems the water is travelling to different areas along the flat roof, and we thought we had it contained OUTSIDE the new grow area which is the un-finished laundry and garage. The leak is no trouble there, heh.

So, the seedlings are rocking pretty good. The whole first week or so I was watering with water that had a ph of about EIGHT and didn't realize it...so they had a little yellowing, but I caught it and put them into a better mix and flushed them with the correct ph and now they are fine. Dirt is slow though....these suckers just need to get big enough to give me clones for the system in time.

I'm going to try to get the lights running in there very shortly and get these under bigger lighting so they can veg up.....

yep it's slow. of course vegging under a 400 will get them there quicker than my flouro veg area can get them.

hazy For now they are in my cab which is also flouros, but they've got about 100 watts per shelf so it's cool. As for the issues....well, that's just a day in the life of the poor schmuck S2D!! I'm one of those guys that was born to have everything dump on me at least once. At 31 yrs of age, it has become routine to expect something to **** up before anything good happens. Dunno why, but that's my luck....I have NONE, lol!

Long ass wait indeed my friend..I had a guy local that was from IC mag also,and we used to kick it a few times a year,he lived about 60 miles from me.He had a pretty nice set up in a well built hydro grow room out in bf nowhere.

He would bring me 4 ~O~s at a time,and in just a couple hours it disappeared,making me and him some cash,and me some smoke. He did that until about april of this year.We traded stuff,and kicked around going out to eat,partying,and smoking like there was no tomorrow.Then he decided to go become a trucker.

Within two weeks his ole lady had spent all the money they had,and didn't have enough to even pay his power bill.He called me the other day and had things straightened out,his ole lady is trucking with him now.

Other than that little local connection,I have done without until a friend sent me a lil care package,that I still have some of,and I'm pretty toasted right now in fact.After dealing with my clients today,that is a welcome thing.I will not smoke commercial,it tastes like smoking a tire to me.Tangerine haze however tastes like citrus,and just blasts you on a rocket ride of sativa happiness.

It has been Christmas of last year for any of my stuff to taste,and the Haze was the last girl,that's why I'm doing her again.Big producer,and really, really good pot.

I still have a good bit of scraggly nothing from the lower stuff, but combined with a little keif it's perfect. I just hope it lasts! She is on the new recipe,but it seems a lil bit warm for her,so I back watered her a lil bit.She is packing on the pistils and resin now.When we woke up this morning the wife looked at me and smiled,the whole house reeked!

outame - Stinky house is a good thing if you ask me! I've had it so bad you could smell it outside, and if you open the door, WHAM!!! Big skunky stank in the face, lol! Carbon scrubber ought to help me this time!

rooted - Haha....you noticed eh? Yup...I just figured I'd start my mommas in dirt because it's a little difficult keeping their water cold in the cabinet with the 1 gal. bubblers. Fear not though, the m-dwc is coming. Soon as I get the rest of the room done, which is VERY close. I'll have an update later. I'm mostly just waiting on my electrician to wire the last few things.

hidingtree Yup...another roof leak. We have all the material for a brand new roof up there, just waiting on someone to do the work for me, my medical condition just won't allow it right now. Great seeing you buddy...hope the sacred herb is treating you well! Not that you don't have 15 varieties over there, lol!

-VT- Hey man, I would do the coco if I was as good as you, heh! The seedlings are moving along very nicely over here, so sorry to hear about yours. Your request for more pics is answered.

What door???? Little caulk and paint and we're there. You can see the water damage down this wall to the left. My favorite (lethal, MUST HAVE respirator) Zinsser's BIN primer will lock those stains out in one coat.



A/C boarded in, as money and time permit, this will also get two layers of foam board insulation to fill the window cavity. All light leaks are SEALED!!! The box on the outside and painting the styrofoam has DONE IT!



Timer set on the wall and wired with a 30A 240V breaker. Below the timer you can see an extra plug. This plug (has a black screw) is TWO 15A circuits wired to one receptacle. This will allow me to run fans and pumps on dedicated circuits with power strips.



This is in our laundry area, the backside of the wall with the timer and plugs. Here you can see one last (EDIT** It's a 14/2 wire) 14/3 wire coming down. This will be another dedicated 15A circuit with the receptacle in the laundry area to service the chiller and the vortex. This wall is getting insulation and drywall as well before the show starts. Scrubber, fan, and chiller will sit out here.
