taps fingers impatiently....

that is pretty high w/sqft but im sure youll have no trouble cooling it. you gonna defoliate hard or no?

ya i defoliated and cleaned up kinda hard right before the flip

so far so good im keeping it cool with one 12 inch intake (COLD colorado night air) and an 8inch exhaust (that i don't think is even needed)

still haven't gotten the soaker hoses up and going; i was running them on a 1500 gph pump, seemed slow like they werent weeping proper. i've ordered a 2000 gph (1/2 hp) pump with attached float valve, taking forever to deliver apparently it's coming all the way from china...
been hand watering no problems... but im looking forward to getting some more efficient and consistent watering with some level of automation capabilities.

^ room, day one

picture.php

^ side lines, the benches
yes, i've gone crazy
im growing comfrey in same containers as the weed
it's in the bed also, not as vigorous because it's beneath the canopy and not getting as much light as these on the sidelines.

picture.php

^ canopy shot, almost got it filled in during veg, still a few holes
i figure i'll get better at filling these nets in eventually.... took off some fan leaves but it is looking pretty thick in there again

picture.php

^ Grapestomper Og x Bubba Jam
how's that looking for a trim up?

picture.php

^ canopy gaps... day one
if these indicas will stretch a lil bit for me i might could get these gaps filled in - not holding my breath tho

picked up a bunch of 1/2" pvc today, T's and corners... ready to make some hanging reflective wall panels from this roll of orca i've had sitting around for way to long. also we plan on making a big trellis net that hangs for 2nd layer of the canopy.

thanks Zap, the fam is good, house is quiet....
What is comfrey? I'm not familiar with that plant.

comfrey is a healing plant, lots of vitamin E, in a pinch it could be edible - we use it in salves and in garden preparations as well.

one of the fermented plant extract products we are marketing is comfrey based so im just keeping up production thru the winter. We dug these out of the field; will probably plant them back in the field in spring - yes i've gone mad.....

i have to add this list of seed pops and their code labels... partially for my own info in case i misplace a notebook and need to decipher my own code:
DDZ- sour dubb x dank zappa

norcal ibl?
that's what they came labeled as, got about 50 of them
received greenpoint seeds socal catpiss x (chem4 x stardawg) -- imo it's a pretty similar cross as the norcal catpiss x moontang (chem skunkVA cut x snow lotus) - basically a catpiss x a chem cross. i've got no experience with the socal cut of catpiss...

assembled some reflecting panels to make the grow space even more damn bright:
picture.php

^ just PVC, gorilla tape, and orca film - the whole rig hangs from the ceiling, it's very light weight

picture.php

^ view of the canopy, looking toward the corner of the 2 reflecting panels

picture.php

^ similar view from the back corner looking towards the corner

picture.php

^ beneath the canopy
this side of the bed hasn't been mulched with barley straw yet (far right you can see the barley straw mulched side)... def it's drying out quicker and deeper than the mulched section but plants are doing fine.... might leave half the bed un mulched to compare and have a lil experiment.

^^ reflecting panel wall looking towards the corner, along the backside of plants on the benches

this thread has always excited me but man it really gets the blood pumping these days. im excited and jealous.. and hungry. are the walls hanging from anything that lets u swing them out for access? im planning on doing the same thing except with 1x1s and thin plywood on casters so i can roll it back to get at my beds and hang a fan on it. great minds...

also, when u say unmulched you mean naked? and i think you know this but i really should have put my hose on top of the hay. i dunno what i was thinking.

Whoa Avi, that's some list of pops! What's the story with [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]the NC - tarheel kush (pinetar kush x appalachia)? Sounds like something I need to find, lol!

also does anyone know the difference between the socal and norcal catpiss? or anything else about it for that matter? nobody ever talks about it. when i was a kid one of my friends dad was probably growing it so it was around for like a year. i developed an obsession with it after it went away. its so gross i cant stop thinking about it lol.

is that gg4 x egfc your own creation? and damn, tarheel kush sounds tasty af.

iirc seaf0ur gave me some EGFC seedlings which i picked a male out of and dusted the gg4 (which i had gotten from sea4 a few years earlier, thanks bud! hope ur well)

are the walls hanging from anything that lets u swing them out for access?

ya they just hang from the ceiling, it's pretty easy to slide inside the walls, for bigger chores the reflecting panel walls will be really easy to just take down, set aside, and re-hang when the chore is done

also, when u say unmulched you mean naked? and i think you know this but i really should have put my hose on top of the hay. i dunno what i was thinking.
not entirely naked, as you can see there is a bunch of clover growing on that side of the bed, and i think once clover is up and established it will protect the top layer of soil from drastic dry-out... maybe not as well as mulch but it does the trick kinda
also... hose on TOP of the hay? i was thinking it should be a direct on soil layer and under the mulch?
shit
also i tried contacting gilmour about what size pump would work best on the weeper/soaker hoses - they told me none of their irrigation hoses are meant to be used with pumps... im like... fuck you

also does anyone know the difference between the socal and norcal catpiss? or anything else about it for that matter?
best i can tell is that the norcal is an indica (DEEP indica, like NO stretch low yield) and the socal is more sativa like - that's all i've been able to decipher definitively about the two.

Damnit. Catpiss and a Chem sounds much better than the Catpiss x Forum I've seen. Even so, that plant fookin' smells. It's intoxicating in the real sense of the word.

Easy to say I am jello.

Do you run any mother plants at all? I am wondering if my mother plant room in the basement is too cool? I am running some CFLs so the temp stays about 65 degrees always.
