ya those will work, for about the same price you can get a flood table (like for hydro) and use it like a planter bed, i did that in the elbow room, used a home-made moving-blanket smart pot as a liner, just remember that you need room for mulch layer and topdresses in addition to soil depth; so a container that is only 10 inches deep only allows for about 8 inches of soil depth if you keep a 2" mulch layer (much thinner than i am aiming for)
i'd say you want something 12-15 inches deep at least, and even at that depth you will end up mounding in the center and having spillage of mulch/topdressings and maybe even water from feedings.
depth is key, too much won't really be an issue (soil more than 36 inches deep is overkill imo, but shouldn't cause problems ever) - too shallow will cause issues, even if it's just a lil mess from spillage
don't forget drain holes, you buy something heavy duty, very rigid or the wrong material may crack or shatter when you drill it out. The soft flexible plastic of a kiddie pool won't crack, but i've drilled out totes and buckets tht wanted to crack and just turn to shit when I added drain holes.... also mucho no bueno
how about the "bagster" fabric dumpsters... put it on pallets or right on the floor.... i've seen them before and thought to myself "hmmm, big soil bed"
What's the white plastic in kiddie #2
How is the yield on the Trapper Creek? Looks to be the golfball OG nug structure?
To quote Chevy Chase "can't see the line? Can ya Russ?" -xmas vacation
seeds are forming in the breeding tent, just killed the BOG sour bubble male,
tomorrow i plan on spraying inside the tent to kill any residual pollen (been spraying OUTSIDE the tent to reduce any pollen distribution where it doesn't belong
looks like i've successfully pollinated in a tent directly next to a blooming tent without any unwanted pollination; time will tell but the kiddie pool tent is into budset now and i'm seeing no signs of any seeds forming in there....
you know that can travel for miles?I had someone get all uppity about me posting male shots..."you know that can travel for miles..." Yeah well I get it got it good. Had males outdoors last year along with ladies. Just positioned dudes down and away from girls.
whaaat its like that now? threats over pollen? well, huh. avinash if i remember right you didnt use filters on the male area, any airflow at all in that tent?
you know that can travel for miles?
ya i do - you know it can also be contained and made in-viable
in my area there are hemp farms - i've heard of ganja growers threatening hemp farmers
like "if my crop gets seeded from your hemp - you're dead" - pretty shitty because if someone like that gets seeds they will blame hemp farmers (who ALL grow all female for CBD) no matter what the cause is.
And once the hemp fields start pollinating every one's shit. The price for seedless will go up when there isn't as much around, unless these indoor farmers start employing clean room tech using negative and positive pressure area's to keep unwanted pollen out.
You think that they are only going to be growing female hemp plants, perhaps if they are only growing for fiber. But they are then going to be missing out on the chance of having a 2nd dairy crop that they could make a slight more profit from the whole crop.
everyone is growing female only hemp for CBD (to the best of my knowledge bothin my area and state wide)
there still is no production facility for hemp into fiber, seed oil, building materials, or anything
co is still entirely void of any manufacturing industry to support hemp farming - and i'm unaware of any farmers growing hemp for fiber in colorado, i'm also unaware of any manufactured hemp products made from colorado hemp (aside from CBD preparations and concentrates like distillate and isolate)
as for growing hemp for feed (dairy/swine) - that's a possibility, i've not heard of anyone growing for their own use, everyone is still licensing and growing for sale to a market that doesn't really exist
especially since the DEA has come out with new scare tactics against CBD.... there really are few options when it comes to the profitability of hemp farmers in colorado.
Not yet! Just wait, trust me.
I saw a video on youtube, they claimed they where in colorado and where processing colorado grown hemp fibers.
