Rubber mat and bucket tech for the win!

I don't know what temps I have going in the crawl but I'm sure it's hitting low and mid 50s lights out on colder days (yesterday and today). Cannabis is a weed, she'll pull through :yes:

She'll pull thru...But at the cost of how many extra weeks of light. Hahaha

Putting everything up on pallets than laying the rubber back down. Keeping water in house so it's isn't too cold when I water.

Humidity is issue too so try and keep garage dry as possible

Next would be add a heater or move everything indoors. Attic... Or just spread everywhere.

Getting 70* and 50% during lights on at night. Just drops to 50*&70+% lights out. I flipped when I got home from Co. So seven weeks in... Def only half way or.less done.

Yeah its been extra cold up here... my living room was like 55 when I got home last night, even with the thermostat set at near 70. My lights out temps average around 59 , but last few nights its been closer to 55 in there. Ive never really noticed the plants showing any lack of vigor due to the temps, most times these winter crops, look and come out tasting better than other times of the year when the diurnal swing is less. I am curious, as Ive heard others mention this, Does anyone notice any sort of nutrient "lock out" because of the lower temps ?

Nah, I get the fade towards the end of flower but nothing crazy I guess? I grow organics so I don't know if that's any different compared to how you grow.

there are symptoms i think, wouldn't say that i can identify specific deficiencies;
to me signs of cold are little to no growth, symptoms of low humidity (cold air holds less moisture), symptoms of overwatering (cold plants drink less, cold air evaps less from soil), maybe some stems turn purple....

Guess I have a phobia of space heaters... Could fire one up in there. Just to acquire one of apporiate size

Second snow for us here today...Strange winter... Now it's down pouring for the next week or so. Mud city.

oil or water filled finned radiators. i can't afford one right now but they put out nice IR heat and don't dry the air as much. My temps and rH been real low. Growth rates about 30 percent.

i'd say my temps in the tents are low but not so low that i'm getting super slow growth rates;
picture.php

^ kiddie pool tent, definitely low humidity, as usual; temps on the low side probably in the 60's

picture.php

^ gradually defoliating and trimming out lower nodes

picture.php

^ Sour bubble male, about to pop any day

picture.php

^ breeding tent donut; see male in top right corner
this tent has nearly identical conditions as the kiddie pool tent; things seem more or less on schedule

picture.php

^ found this on IG, fell in love with it instantly.... artist is sara shakeel

i'm controlling the pollen using timing.

all my flowering plants are cut, or immature still
i was hoping the male would drop pollen and i would be done with him by the time that i have other plants forming buds that have potential to be pollinated....
looks like im cutting it close
worst case scenario is the breeding tent pollinates the kiddie pool tent and i end up with TONS of seeds of crosses sour bubble male by LCB, trapper creek, catpiss moontang, and w99 - all very good strains, i'd be happy with bulk stock - and plant material will still be great for making hash or tincture or black oil (RSO/FECO)

thats the spirit! ballsy too, lol. wheres the cat piss at anyway... any breeders have a bx?

cut of catpiss came via community in denver/front range (thanks seafour!); i'm told it's the same cut used in the rare dankness croses, the "norcal" cut...
as for a Bx of it out there... pretty sure we are working on that; im popping more of these catpiss x moontang beans to find a male
my catpiss x moontang is as frosty and stinky as the original norcal catpiss but with much more lateral branching and transitional stretch which translates to higher yeild
