recently i've met some hemp farmers growing the high CBD hemp, so i'm pretty well stocked on all kinds of CBD preparations and flowers and soon extracts also
so i've kinda backed off on balanced strains; probably not going to hold onto this Remedy x Good Medicine unless the smoke is something outstanding or my lady is really impressed with its medicinal benefits for her.
the sour tsunami used in the cross was definitely high CBD, i haven't tested any of the phenos for CBD / THC levels, but if i had to guess i'd say that the sativa pheno was more tsunami leaning and had more potential for high CBD; this keeper indica/kush pheno gets you laid out stoned; so i figure it's probably not CBD rich, because CBD antagonizes THC'

imo the kiddie pools could be imporoved upon by utilizing some SIP (aka PPK, right?) tech. (and perhaps raising the outside edge by about 6 inches to add more soil and mulch and topdressings)
i'm considering stacking pools, put the complete (no holes in bottom) pool on the bottom, and a drilled out to drain kiddie pool on top with bricks or boards or a layer of pumice/ lava rock / perlite (like a big wide organic hempy bucket, kinda)
drill a drain hole about 2 inches up (or at the level of the air gap, where boards/bricks/pumice ends)....
no more water leaking thru to the floor and much less worrying about soil ever becoming dry.
when/if i do this i'll probably add a bit of extra aeration (hoping to switch over to pumice rocks soon, can get yards of it locally for cheap) material to my media as well
ALSO, i'm told that the prilled calcium sulfate ("better than gypsum" it says on the bag) has no Mg in it

pretty sure i crammed an extra sour dubb clone AND a chem91 skunk VA into the breeding chamber for pollination by sour bubble male...
breeding chamber is starting to bulk up
did some defoliating and removal of lower branches in the kiddie pool tent last night (about half done); should help airflow and hopefully produce less lower nugs and more topnugs; it's been years since i've done it as hard as i am doing to these kiddie pools
seems like the canopy NEEDED to be thinned, leaves and branches were just stacking on top of each other with NO airflow and really no room for anything to grow without pushing more plant matter aside; will grab a post defol pic tomorrw night when i finish the job

Yup gypsum,. I have also been adding aminos (pea protein powder) and i give them some borax every month or so.
I have also been adding citric acid and I have bicarbonates.

started to chop, the catpiss moontang & catpiss elmers glue fire cookies from the kiddie pool are all hanging, so are the remedy x good medicines, and the trapper creeks, and the solo w99
took them right at 8 full weeks

I was expecting at least 63 days (no reason in particular - rule of thumb) What are the smells you were getting off this round? If I remember right you said general OG smells with some lime in there right? General OG smell being what, lime/citrus pine and fuel?

i've been shortening my days during bloom steadily and gradually (getting about 10 hours of light now) i fell like that helps them finish a bit quicker; also i've seen more than just a couple little nanners on the remedy x good medicine, altho none have opened or dropped any pollen. fortunately i see no swollen calyxes or the beginning of seeds... but don't WANT to see any
smell on the trapper at this point is like sweet cedar type OG smell and some hints of that dense earthy kush smell... could be fuely without any acrid sour - more musky cedar kushy right now; not as loud at finish as the 24k white was last run but similar in that they are both very OG and very frosty
