f I remember correctly, the result of the Russian revolution was communist governance.

The revolution occurred in Feb, the communist did not wrestle control until October.

It was not just the 'commies' forcing the revolution. They were just the winning faction, they seized control (possibly because of the results of the Paris Commune of 1871).

Not saying that is the correct way, only that THEIR form of communism was brutal and totalitarian.

Kibbutz
seem to work well. Michelle Bachmann joined one right out of school.

After Lenin's death, the soviet became a totalitarian dictatorship, until Stalin's death (1953). Only after Khrushchev 'blinked' at the 'Cuban Missile Crisis' did the Politburo gain more control.

It looks like the TV outlets are all downplaying Iowa's importance. I guess Paul is destroying in the exit polls.

wouldn't be surprised if exit data was trumpeted unless it's yet to materialize.

As a matter of fact, looks like the caucus just starting.

“Ron Paul is disgusting,” Santorum told a handful of reporters.

RON PAUL RETORT - Like a BOSS

For his part, Paul over the weekend in a Fox News appearance said this of his rivals for the GOP nomination:
“They come and they go, and they all belong to the status quo.” More evidence that Ron isn't a racist, butin rhymes :D

Does Ron Paul want to be president, or a prophet?

Not my original thoughts or work but I found it appropriate.

Great conversation. Now if you could all just look at this from the perspective of an outsider looking in and know what it looks like when Americans who care about our country can't agree on information and it's validity regardless of where it comes from. Then, you all might have a huge revelation about what is real.

Lies are real

Black ops are real

Denial is real

Disinformation is real

And guess what? Real information is real.

If you really want to win an argument, take in all of the information and consider it's validity instead of blindly challenging it. Don't just buy into a side.

I have a scenario for you:

I put you all on a game show and behind door number one is an innocent American who works in a warehouse (fortunately for him) and has three children he would die for. I have another man behind door number two who leaves in the opposing country but works at a factory and has the same amount of kids.

Here are the details. You can't open the door. You can't ask them any questions. You have to debate among yourselves to make the right decision. You can use the internet on the computers in front of you or your phones. You can call home and ask someone to open a book. You can even listen to each other blab to make your decision.

Here is the catch: When we brought you on the show, your family agreed that you would make the right decision and trusted us to put them in a large container that they don't know is above a volcano.

Your job is to kill THE REAL TERRORIST.

You all have two big red buttons in front of you marked door 1 and door 2.

If you kill the innocent man, all of your families get dumped into the volcano.

All it takes is one of you to push the button and you either send the terrorist to oblivion or kill the innocent man along with your families.

Guess what?

In reality, you are already on the show and you don't even know it.

It's called voting and you are gambling with real lives.

Do you want to win beyond any doubt and ensure your family is safe?

You better start listening to each other and working together to make the right decision before just one of YOU push that button that destroys MY entire family.

If one of you allows that to happen while you ALL had an influence on making that decision, the mere fact that you couldn't present your arguments with care for the matter at hand makes you all guilty of murdering lots of families.

Good luck on your show.

MSNBC is reporting Santorum with 26% and Paul with 23%, but it's still very early...

I heard the governor say they expected ~150k. Last I checked, less than 5k votes had been verified for Santorum, Paul and Romney.

Mitt Romney SUPERPACS?

Mitt Romney SUPERPACS?

Who make up these Superpacs?
I can't find shit. Are they all anonymous?
If you know who they are please post..

Here is some articles I found:
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_new...-outpaces-romney-campaign-in-iowa-ad-spending

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...l-big-spender/2012/01/03/gIQA3ldvYP_blog.html

I pulled exerts from them to highlight who gets them, how much money, and why they might hide and contribute to the SUPERPAC and not the campaign.

First of all...
Ron Paul does not have any super PAC operating on his behalf.

Second...
the Romney super PAC, spent almost $750,000 on television ads last week including a massive $603,000 in Iowa. Make Us Great Again, Perry’s super PAC, spent $581,000 with the lion’s share of that money — $315,000 — going to ads in South Carolina. Taken together, Romney and his super PAC spent $1.1 million on ads last week. Perry and his super PAC spent a similar amount.

Thirdly....
"The super PACs are not accountable to anybody so they can say what they want to say and it's not going to blow back on the campaign," said Scott Reed, a top GOP campaign consultant who is not affiliated with any of the current campaigns. "The super PAC can really do the dirty work on the advertising, and the direct mail and the robocalls."
Technically, super PACs are supposed to be independent of the presidential campaigns and not "coordinate" their activities. But critics say that those rules are hard to define given the multiple connections between the super PACs and the candidates and their campaigns. Not only is Restore Our Future run by former Romney political advisers, Romney himself spoke at one of the group's fundraising events last summer.

Other affiliated super PACs are spending — though far less than Restore Our Future or Make Us Great Again. The Red White & Blue Fund, which is supporting former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum , dropped $150,000 in Iowa while Our Destiny PAC, which is backing former Utah governor Jon Huntsman , spent $144,000 in New Hampshire.

THEN ADD THE MEDIA BIAS - HOW THE HELL IS RON PAUL EVEN IN IT? THEY DOGMA HIM AND SAY HE IS UN-ELECTABE!
RON PUAL HAS NO PRIVATIZED FINANCIALLY BACKED ARMY. UNLESS YOU COUNT OUR TROOPS CONTRIBUTIONS :d

9.01pm: According to the Iowa GOP running tally of precincts reporting,
Paul on 25%,
Romney 23%,
Santorum 23%,
Gingrich 13%,
Perry 9%,
Bachmann 6%.
Which is all pretty much as the polls suggested.

You cheerleaders are nuts. There's nothing unhelpful about the fact the Iowa governor expects 150k caucus goers and (up to the time of the post) less than 5k votes had been verified for the front three.

In other words, these numbers change every few minutes. Santorum and Paul have exchanged leads a half dozen times already.

This will only get uglier for the GOP if Santorm 'wins'.

Newt is still leading in the coming Primaries, Perry has national infrastructure, i dont see him dropping out either.

The gloves are coming off. 21th century TV cannibalism. GOP is fracturing, REAL fiscal conservatives, Religious and family values, corporate interest, they are all backing different people, i cant remember such a fracture.

a santorum win looks good for paul further down the road...

imo santorum is the type to go uber negative on romney and maybe be nasty enough to pull the mormon card. this will do two things. first it will destroy santorum. people will reject bigotry even if they believe it. second it will put romney in majic underwear in people's minds.

The question is, can Santorum cut into Newts Support in SC (and FL).

IMHO this race (since 2007) has been Romney vs 'Some other guy'.

If i can go a step further, Moromons are probably below Jewish on the 'Bible Belt' scale of religons (you can guess where islam is). Jews believe in the same 'old testament' god, Mormons believe that God sent NEW saints to establish Zion in Utah (latter day saints).

One is seen as acceptable, and the other is seen as blasphemous.

I dont see Dr Paul gaining more than 20% in a GOP race. His only chance of winning a national election is to run 3rd party (against Romney) and steal votes from young disenfranchised Obama voters.

If Trump runs, NBC would seem inclined to put him in their debates, and he would further harm Romney.

Dr Paul will still need to escape a House 'screwjob'.

(I say vote Trump! I swear this is one of his quotes, "I dont have anything bad to say about that disgusting fat slob Rosie ODonald. Our feud is over" <--Now thats 99.9999% gold bullshit!)

My guess..People you gave negs to that can only neg you that way. Demigod.

I don't think Dr. Paul will go third party that easy.....There could be many more surprises ahead.

I envision commercials on the FED running and I know the money stolen can be linked to Mitt "Money" Romney.

I also think Dr. Paul is a great anti-Romney guy, as well as Obama. More and more people are wanting the RP Foreign Policy.
I'll check into Santorum more.

If its another member of the Establishment like Romney then the R are doomed... Obama has shit loads of cheese and can steal a lot of votes with it.....not to mention Gary Johnson is running third party if Ron Paul don't get it and I imagine a lot of RP voters going there!

AS I LISTEN TO RP ON THE TV :D HE IS DEFIANT AND READY TO ROCK! GUESS WHAT I AM GOING TO VOLUNTEER. FIRST TIME EVER! I'LL STILL BODY CHECK THE DEMIGODS IN HERE, DON'T WORRY

NEW HAMPSHIRE HERE WE COME!
