i don't much care about "illegals"
we are all "illegals" by someone's definition...
im much more concerned with the government deciding what is appropriate use for my land...
Dang.. Did I hack your account :D

Bill 13575 - UN Agenda 21 & Wildlands Project are some insane items.

Eminent domain for private development was a key groundwork.

ARE THE FARMERS ALL CRAZY!!!

UN Agenda 21 In your face
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGDvuwdqPTo

Agenda 21 was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 during the United Nations Earth Summit.

The Secretary General of that summit, Maurice Strong, said, “Current lifestyle and consumption patterns of the affluent middleclass involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, homes or work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.”

Basically saying that the American lifestyle, liberty, production, and our way of living is bad and is unsustainable. It is outrageous that some U.N. official assumes the right to tell Americans what they should and should not do and how they should live.

Knowing that Americans would not stand for this program, the UN insidiously slipped Agenda 21 into our political and economic systems with the purpose of undermining our Constitution and our right to self-governance, our right to own private property and to use that property as we see fit. Agenda 21 is huge, complex and consists of numerous tentacles. It was designed to be complex to make it hard for the average citizen to recognize and oppose it.

One such tentacle is “sustainable development.” Sustainable development is the step-by-step abolition of American private property, primarily through the implementation of the Wild Lands Project and Smart Growth. It also wants to educate our children to prepare them for “global citizenship.”

Further, sustainable development seeks to control and ultimately reduce human population. The United Nations define sustainable development as one that meets the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

What that means is the “needs” they mentioned refers not to human needs but to the needs of the “planet.”

It concludes we can only meet these needs by “eliminating or reducing activities (like the lifestyles of Americans) that are “unsustainable.”

Why are we the only country whose congress will not allow us to negotiate to lower the cost of prescription drugs?

We contract medicine for Medicare and Medicaid. Part D wasn't negotiated and we pay what they say.

Obama concluded he couldn't take on both the insurance and the pharmaceutical lobbies. So he cut a deal with pharma (the lesser of two exploding costs.) The result is, Obamacare doesn't have the same cost controls that Medicare and Medicaid have but there are more controls than Part D which was a Bush initiative prior to the second term election.

LMAO

market worth?? how the fuck do you figure the market worth in a nationalized healthcare?

Too much man too much,

The same way we figure government salaries for career employees. We compare their salaries and benefits to the private sector. In fact, a recent study concluded that although career government employees are more educated than their private counterparts, they average slightly less in pay and benys than the private sector.

I'm not talking about paying doctors less or paying everybody the same. I just want to get the lifestyles of the rich and famous executives out of the pic. If a doctor makes a killing so be it but they'd better be directly involved in saving lives w/o killing livelihoods. I don't assume I know how to do it but I more than assume the same thing that fucks up health care fucks up most everything else- greed.:D

Even the crowd is seeing .... Ron is ready to ROCK.

SNOUT, your growing on me fast. If you need a place to stay just holla my brother.

You are killing disco...:D
lol thx

Discos okay I dont blame him for not believing politicians. Power corrupts. You always have to question people. Many people will often not believe the other side, just out of habit since the philosophy differs.
Look how often we are lied to by the media. Tonite Newt repeated the fear mongering lie that Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map when in fact Ahmadinejad quoted a Khomeini speech which said "This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time" and compared how Russias elite fell. Nothing about using force to get Israel.

Look how Reagan changed when he got into office and eventually went against his word and raised taxes. Tried to pull the wool over our eyes by saying the increased payments to Social Security weren't an increase in taxes since SS is more like an insurance policy. Even if Ron Paul gets into office you can't relax.

I agree with you in spirit. I think what happens is the CEOs high pay is justified by the hiring company because they know how to game the system and have buddies who deal them special favors. What's that saying "don't hate the player, hate the game".

Government employees have a much better deal going when you factor in benefits. Also their lack of performance doesn't carry as much weight since they are the only game in town and their company isn't really in danger of going away. I'm sure you've had a bad experience or two with government. In the private sector you have a choice to go somewhere else. Not so with government.

Wanted to say, good call on the "death to" mantra. I read that Iraqi machine gunners went awol after killing so many Iranians the Iraqis said were charging them with sticks and rocks. Iran has come a long way since then and they may have that nuclear capability everybody's worries about. But if they want to go after Israel in a nuclear game, they might as well chuck rocks.

We don't mess with N Korea because they have nukes in proximity to S Korea and Japan. Lots of folks could die in the opening salvos of conventional warfare.

A nuclear attack is IMO out of the question. It's to keep the US from doing to N Korea what we did to Iraq after they invaded Kuwait. IMO, Iran wants something to keep the US off the preemptive invasion path.

I won't oversimplify the down sides of Iran having nukes. But IMO we're no where near justified using offensive military options and I don't anticipate Iran's that dumb to give us justification to dump a load of hurt.

Ferkin military industrial complex and biblical prophecy - combining to ensure we'll probably fuck up sooner than later.:)

I am not a big Ronald R. fan either. He is the one who started all the drug mandatory minimums. The drug was has always been to remove our rights and freedoms.

He was better than most in my life time. He wasn't an Elitist

Jimmy Carter gets hammered but he actually wanted to legalize long ago.

They crushed him for it. They/we all make mistakes, who has to pay?

That is why I like Ron Paul. less Federal laws/legislation the less systematic destruction by a single piece of legislation. We can have 50 experimental pods if we so choose.

Once in office, Jimmy Carter didn't abandon his temperate approach to cannabis. He proposed that the federal government stop treating possession of small amounts as a crime, making a sensible but novel argument: "Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself."

Nothing came of it, of course. Carter's logic was unassailable even 35 years ago, but it has yet to be translated into federal policy. The American experience with prohibition of alcohol proved that we are capable of learning from our mistakes. The experience with prohibition of marijuana proves that we are also capable of doing just the opposite.

The stupidity and futility of the federal war on weed, however, has slowly permeated the mass consciousness. This week, the Gallup organization reported that fully 50 percent of Americans now think marijuana should be made legal. This is the first time since Gallup began asking in 1969 that more Americans support legalization than oppose it.

The shift has shaped drug policy at the state level. Seventeen states have approved medical use of pot, according to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), and 14 have decriminalized possession of small amounts for personal use — including such staunchly conservative places as Mississippi and Nebraska.

Changes in a permissive direction may bring casual use out of the closet, but they don't elicit the disasters that anti-drug zealots fear. In fact, research indicates that decriminalizing cannabis has only a tiny effect on consumption, if any
For that matter, hardly anything has an effect. Over the last 30 years, federal spending to fight drugs has risen seven times over, after inflation. Since 1991, arrests for possession of pot have nearly tripled. But all for naught.

You didn't miss much. Imagine John Wayne with a dash of Kosmo Kramer as Dirty Harry and that's pretty close.

He was back in the early days of starve the beast when conservative lawmakers didn't think they could get away with breaking what they can't manage while simultaneously catering to the rich. Regan entered his first term and lowered taxes so severe, he raised em 11 times thereafter to avoid a disastrous legacy as being fiscally irresponsible.

Bottom line, the man who said, "Government is the problem" expanded government and doubled the national debt.
