Hola expat
The mother (from seed) flowered in 14 weeks. This is a cutting.I still don´t know if the flowering time is going to be shorter...this has most of her leaves intact, while the seed mother lost many,many...:D
Plants from this line don´t like low temps and rootbound...and if you give them room enough, well, you all know...heheh :rasta:
Here´s the cut by mid-flowering (aprox)

Hola expat  This is the first time growing her, I have three going.. This is just a rooted cut, put into flowering for seedmaking! Im very confident this is going to be nice smoke, so many people who´s opinion I highly respect have said it is.. Tomorrow im going to put another, thinner leafed pheno into fowering. It´s a rooted cut and it´s going to be flowerd for seedmaking also.. Mum´s are going to be growed big & properly for firstclass summer sinse :D

Maybe I could take better pics of them :chin:

Here´s something for marijuanamat, your Malahazi shining today :D

I think this is the Hazepheno, based on leaf shape, grow structure & odor :2cents: What you think mat? Any tips how long I we have to wait till the end product?

your yucatan line, from pics seems to yield pretty fair, and as ya say its a straight up sativa. ive grown many different sativas, and really those jungle buds may smoke nice, but imo you need to grow many many plants to find the nice tight budded plants which you pictured.

Well, I think I got really lucky and out of only 3 females found a really tight budded high yielding beauty. One of her sisters had similarly tight dense buds but with more leaf, ther other sister had equally large flowers but they were the running, tringy type of calyxes and not dense at all, that one went in the hashpile as it was just stringy, leafy crap like you get when a sativa doesn't flower properly indoors.

I smoked 4 joints of the Mexican yesterday prior to going out to see my mate's band play and let me tell you, I was so high I was amazed that I could get that high from cannabis, it's a very unusual, speedy, clear high, the effects feel like some kind of amphetamine but much smoother and nicer.

Another pic of the same cut
Carreteraycasa040.jpg

and here´s what I call "the fugly"..heheheh .Charlie knows that I have this girl since last April lol! I mean,I started it from seed one year ago, kept her in veg until last February 17th.I topped her a couple weeks before 12/12,so when I flipped her she was already 10 months old...can you believe?
She hates HPS..she´s from a close related line to the plant above^^^
All the plant from this particular line do the same leaf curl & claws everytime I put them under a 600 HPS.However, she´s budding quite well and her smell is even better than her cousin shown above ^:D

Lovely Colombian Raco. Here's some pics of an outdoor Colombian Gold x Lowryder BX1 (75% CG) lady a friend in the Czech republic grew last year, I made these seeds from the BSC CG line. Really good smoke, retained the fine earthy, nutty, spicy flavour of the original CG.

This pheno had a more traditional xmas tree shape and smelled fabulous.

These pics were taken on the same day, first is a pure CG cut, the second is the CG x LR BX1, as you can see, the lil bit of LR genes has made her MUCH faster:

ya must be hittin um hard with N right before flower then as it looks well overnuted, with the claw and burnt tips. pretty much what happens with plants i go the first time with, feelin um out.

have never heard of the lightin clawin up a plant. ya get the edges of the fans curlin upwards with heat.

you think it has somethin to do with the 600W intensity maybe? cause ive noticed where sometimes a fan or two will bleach out with to much intensity for certain lines.

expat,

British Hempire!

Your experience with the Mexican genetics makes me want to try my Mexican Brick(well, supposed Mexi..) indoors.

I grew it Outdoors a few times, with good results.

Seems like the Mexicans don´t show the ultra thin fanleaves that are a trademark for other Sativas.

The last plant was not a potency wonder, but I like the turn, which is unique.

Not overpowering at all, but "old school" and quite stupifying in a positive way.

Last time I smoked this bud, I found myself smiling and comfortable, even with the most annoying commercials on the TV screen.

gotcha, i run under 2 400s, and even those are sometimes to much for certain plants.

the clawin effect is somethin that really trips my switch man, i get so freakin mad when a plant does that to me, lol. its my fault of course, but im lookin for tip burn most times when tryin to see what a plant can stand, and when they just fold up the day after, they end up wadded up in the trash, lol.

take care bro

Raco, happy to send some of the CG x LR BX1s your way, love to see what you think of them, seeing as you have a good deal of experience with Colombian strains.

I have been exceptionally lucky I think to find the Purple Afghan and Mexican in the same year, I love them both a lot, and to also have the Kentish Cream Jamaican that Elevator Man 'discovered' makes me very happy.

In fact, I've chosen to discard all my other strains (apart from a special Grapefruitbowl and a really great Hashplant) in order to focus on working the Purple Afghan, Mexican and Kentish Cream into seedlines.

The Kentish cream, like it's name suggests (Elevator Man gave it that name, I was there when he named it) has a rich, creamy smoke that is both sweet and earthy. It varies in expression depending on who's grown it, mine tastes a bit sweeter than most and I think tastes like milk cocolate, very delicious indeed and very potent, a cerebral buzz but also a very relaxing melty body stone, it really does feel like you're melting and sitting down becomes a priority I find after smoking some. After seeing my mate's band on Saturday, I was still very high from the Mexican and smoked a joint of the Kentish to wind down and it really did the trick, cue a near horizontal slouch on the sofa and some old ACDC videos on my mate#s new 62 inch plasma screen... lol

Here's some pics of the finished buds, as you can see, they are very dense, extremely resinous with huge calyxes and an overall white look. The trichomes are unusual in that they have very long, twisted stalks and they twist together to form tangles of resin. I let her go 11 weeks but others have taken her at 9 or 10 weeks.

I'm currently rooting out male Purple Afghan clones. I'm going to cross the PA male to both the El Yucateca Mexican and the Kentish Cream, hopefully the male I've chosen will pass on the purple colouration. That's my work for the next few months - making and testing those two crosses. I'll throw some PA pollen on the nicest of my three Thais too, and my Hashpant, Grapefruitbowl and Flo might get a dusting too if I collect enough pollen. I might just get lucky again and find that this male passes on the purple colouraion, huge yield and sweet, hashy taste. The female Purple Afghan (pheno #6 if you followed my thread) that was the mother of the second generation male I've selected produced buds that were sweet and hashy (more hashy that sweet tho) and after a 6 week cure they had caramel and chocolate notes so I have high hopes that crossign this PA male to the Kentish Cream might produce something very tasty indeed, perhaps with a chocolate taste, which is my goal with that cross - a strain that tastes like chocolate.

Beautiful sats as always Wally, they always look so good in the tropical sun! Sadly it snowed yesterday here, derailing my outdoor schedule somewhat, no chance for those type of sats here, but I'm being brave/foolhardy and trying a cut of my Mexican outdoors, just to see what happens. I'm putting out some Jamaican and Purple Afghan cuts too.
