controls for pussy,s
i reckon if i had a laos in place of the zamal ,
goodness me we would have an absolute beast indeed ,

much stronger branches ,, very upright ,
jury is still out on its productiveness and potency though ..
but in all honesty , that zamal doesnt get very heavy buds ,
just shit loads of them , ,, lol ...

Well, keeping in line with the Laotian talk, and all of Donald Mallards inspirational pictures, I just want to show my Laotian plant. Really, there isn't much to see yet, and probably won't be for a very long time, so, this is just the start. I've grown many a lanky plant, but, this is the first time Ill be flowering a pure, wild NLD. Fun, fun, FUN! Will update in this thread.

This cutting just started showing growth, so, she'll be thrown into the tent lights on tomorrow... Im going 11/13 right now due to a NLxShiva in the tent, and will flip to 10/14 once the NLxS is harvested...

And heres an old clone mom I threw in the tent 2 or 3 weeks ago, cant remember. She was cut down to nothing when she went in the tent, so, the growth rate is pretty incredible.

And finally, just for sniffs and giggles, a Haze #19 x Skunk #1 which has been in flower for 2 or 3 weeks...

Ive been looking for a certain strain for over 40 years.
In 1976, my buddy and I went to San Francisco to a pot store run by Dennis Peron. One of my buddies transvestite friends got us in there. It was a very old three story on Castro street with a two way mirror on the front door. The guard inside had to know you or someone you were with for you to get in. After meeting and chatting with Dennis at the top of the stairs, he ushered us in to the store. There were tapestries on the walls. and bean bag chairs. Long tables along three walls topped with giant woven baskets filled to the brim with buds. There were sticky Columbian red buds, Bright yellow/gold Columbian Gold Buds, Sweet fresh Thai sticks and Cambodian Red. Each basket had a large handful of pre rolled bomber joints in it, a triple beam next to it and a good looking female clerk behind it. Every few minutes they would light up a sample joint and pass it around. I was puffing on the Columbian Gold and it was wonderful. Then here comes this joint of Cambodian Red. I could here people discussing it as made its way to me. They were saying " This is the best". I took a hit, and it was as it everything changed. Colors took on a reddish hue, and I could see sparkles in the air. The flavor was truly exotic. It was somewhat like a perfumey floral with a tad bit of Thai in the background. I loved that flavor, and Ive never had a high like that since.
Cambodian Red. If you find some, get it.

Great story. That had to be very special trip weed to overtake the other strains which were trippy in their own right.

Sparkles in the air.... I had that one time off unknown Mexican pot. The visual stuff did not last long but I still remember it.

Every time you post pics of this beauty my shest hurts and I can't breef!

Seriously beautiful plants Donald, all of them really.

I guess it's got something to do with growing cannabis for so long, it's always refreshing to see something with a different growth habit than what Ive traditionally seen.

Love the Colombian and those Laos HAVE gotten fkn HUGE! 2 weeks ago they were DINKY! Amazing vigor.

Thank you for posting....even if it may be the death of me!:tiphat: Haha

Damn, looks good mallard! Wish I could grow something like that here. Just to far north I guess. Love the sativa looks of this plant. Keep us tuned in man!

Here is my keeper cut of dr. Grinspoon. This is champion herb, one of the best plants I have found in years. It's got impeccable resin, delicate sativa looks, the most enjoyable incense smell and taste, a penetrating high, pretty good yield and best of all it finishes in 70 days. It's like the best oldschool dutch haze which seems to be all but extinct these days.

I recently crossed this one to an ssh f2 male, I'm hoping I can bring out even most incense smell.
I have 2 about to go into flower.

I bet this Grinspoon is another hybrid or twist from one of the classic dutch Haze clones, just like Willie Nelson, Utopia Haze and so on.

Coming from Barney's Farm you can't really expect anything different.

:tiphat:

I agree, if I had to guess based on other strains I have grow I would say grinspoon is an s1 from some kind of nevilles haze, ssh, Nl5 haze etc.

This strain is advertised with that weird freak pearl necklace pheno, what in found after growing a few is that there is many phenos, one is very indica dom, a few different sativa types which are just ok, the pearl pheno then the one in showed above which is the best of them all.

I suspect after seeing the indica type pop up that this is not a pure sativa as advertised, perhaps it's a sat dom hybrid strain like nevilles but not pure sativa. Also the 70 day flower time lends to the idea that this is some sort of dutch haze hybrid.

Excellent none the less, and it is just what I have been looking for for close to a decade. I had a ssh plant 10 years ago that was very similar to this one,
Long story short I didn't clone 10 year ago so that very special ssh was one and done, that plant has been on my mind ever since.

Also, about barneys, this is probably the only strain by barneys I'd grow. I've never really seen anything made by BF that looked all that great. Just another reason why inthink this is just an s1 of someone else strain that was popular in A-Dam.

From what I have seen in a few reviews is that grinspoon if you get a good batch is rated best bud in amsterdam.
