this is the best thread on IC but this thread was way better before it was bombed by hybrids.

ruins the purpose of the thread I think.

basically almost everything out there has some "sativa" in it.

i respect this thread also . its actually a favourite .
its basically all i have to contribute if i don,t post what i have then i have nothing too share in here .

maybe we need a new section ? its not a bad idea ?

It was your suggestion that this thread change to a hybrid thread that I was reacting to.

a Sativa hyrbid thread is as good idea, you certainly are growing something worthy of the first post on an new thread.

I as well as others here enjoy BakedBeans's work.

we should start a sativa based hybrid thread (nld/wld) that isn't just about puro sativas and pure polysativa hybrids. lots of so called grail sativas are actally nld/wld work. not letting nevil's haze or super silver haze ( for example) get posted here on this thread might be a bit extreme but if we have a thread for that type of work then we could make this thread more exclusive.

it's been fine to post some nld/wld hybrids here imo. I as well as others have posted non puro polysat hybrid work here but the spirit of this thread is and probably will continue to be mono and poly sativa work. wid the global adam pollution it's hard to find pure nld sativas.

this thread is/was a great place to post anything sativa based but there should be a place for the nld/wld hybrids. the forum members decide, not me. we could get more restrictive about what gets posted on this thread. if we had a thread for nld/wld work we could pm someone if they were posting too many nld/wld crosses and guide them there.


This is really opening a can of worms. A lot of so called landrace sativas look adulterated with some wld . Might be real interesting to see how this plays out.

I don't know that Baked Beans was suggesting that. if he was then that idea would be met with fierce resistance.

all is goooooood. lets keep posting those sativas. lets open up a sativa based nld/wld hybrid thread and I have lots of ongoing projects I would post there.

no need for any drama , the old sativa veterans would have pushed me out the door if they weren't down . i rekon its great we can share here or we start new thread . but i like the sativa pro,s looking on personally ......... give any pointers we younger bucks need

I highly doubt grinspoon has any thai in it.

I have a bunch of pictures and a write up of my latest grinspoon a few pages back.


Imo fter growing a few grinspoon it is an s1 of some kind of dutch haze hybrid


The reason I say this is because there is an odd indica pheno, and my keeper cut is like a straight up dutch haze. My keeper finishes in 70 days.


I would belive it is from a sativa leaning dutch haze like nevilles haze, NH has a little northern lights in it, this could account for the bland indica pheno.

Its nice to keep to pure sativa as much as possible in this thread would be what id be thinking ,
however , its cool to see some sativa dom hybrids too ,
particularly if they were landrace sativa x landrace sativa ...

I think the original op would be fine with that ...

perhaps sometimes the ultimate sativa is a hybrid , ie haze ...
