Five weeks since I first saw sex. About half way there. Still plenty of time for me to screw up. Watered all plants.

Oops, was cleaning up under the screen and cut the wrong branch. Nice hole in the middle.

Stahma, so far she's a keeper. Nice size buds. They look pretty dense.

She's got a lot of little airy buds.

Moms and seedlings.

Clones looking Ok. No roots yet.

Trimmed it up and took an adventure in trichrome land with my microscope.

Looks good Reiko. How are you liking the response you get from topping your plants? Uncle Ben's method seems more practical/faster growth than mainlining for a very similar outcome.

To be honest, next time I plan to top earlier and more often. I will also be vegging longer. The screens were barely full when I flipped, but I got impatient.

Yes, cutting the growing tip. I needed more branches to fill the screen.

Got roots on most of the clones.

Watered moms and seedlings.

Fed flower:
15 ml/gal Bio Flores
15 ml/gal Bio Boost
2 ml/gal Rhizotonic

Two, clearly this is a SLH like Dutch.

Dutch, sad about the branch I cut in the middle. I did dry and smoke some. It was green and grassy smelling, but didn't taste bad, like commercial Mexican. Worked pretty well for an hour or so.

Stahma, this is either a Skunk #1 or a different SLH phenotype. Looks like this will be my heavy yielder.

Two seedlings not taking off, will replace with 2 J11 clones. When I took them out the roots were barely coming out and from the sides.

Clones in beer cups are to be gifted to a fellow patient. The J11 clones (front right) are going to be flowered next. Fed seedlings (back right):
16 ml/gal Rhizotonic
8 ml/gal Bio Vega

Everything crammed back into veg. Need to give moms another haircut.

Watered all the plants. I have been using a bucket and air stones to dechlorinate the water instead of just letting it set for a couple of days. The plants seem to like the oxygenated water.

Dutch, looking good so far. Forgot to get a picture of Two.

Checked the trichromes on all of the plants and they are 100% clear on all three. Here's a picture I tried to take with my microscope.

I've been reading up about Nug Buckets' Mainlining training method. It's a specific way of topping and low stress training (LST) to create uniform buds.

Looking at this clone, it looked like a perfect candidate for mainlining. I topped it, cleaned any growth up to the node, and started LST.

Watered everything in veg. Moms in back, THC Bomb seedlings on left, and J11 clones on right.

Fed flower, backing off dose:
12 ml/gal Bio Flores
12 ml/gal Bio Boost
2 ml/gal Rhizotonic

Two, not sure if it was the cleaning below the canopy or if it is just ripening faster, but the buds look bigger now.

Stahma, she has four pretty nice colas under that screen.

Finally, Dutch is comming along.


Tried ordering another 180w Blackstar Chrome used. The guy never shipped it, never responded to my attempt to contact. Guess I'm going to have to buy one new.

Released J-11 from her bonds. Next to let her four tops grow out a bit, then I'll take the big fan leaves and begin the next phase of LST and topping.

Watered all the plants, veg is looking good. The THC Bomb seedlings are starting to take off now. The clones have new growth, and the mothers are doing well. In a few days I plan to move the clones and seedlings to 4" pots.

Dutch, she filled out the screen the best. Now those buds are starting to fatten up.

Thanks for stopping by MicroRoy. I think the cabinet is working out well, but needs a second light. 100w just isn't covering the 2'x3' area enough. But don't worry, I can, and I will do better next time.

Stopped by the dispensary and they happened to have some SLH. This is the same place I got my SLH seeds. Gives me something to compare to.

Continued the next phase of training for mainlining. Here I'm training the four growth tips perpendicular to the last branch.trained.

Notice all the growth tips are even in height.

Here I'm attempting to do the first step with a clone. Because the nodes are no longer symmetrical, it isn't as easy to get the growth tips to grow evenly.

Picked up some 5 gallon fabric pots to try next time. Looks like I can double the soil for the same footprint. May loose the modular ScrOG screens and try something else.

Here is the whole cabinet opened up and running. Here you can see I need a second light to even out the coverage. For now they change positions every watering.
The seedlings and clones got transplanted into 4" pots. Moms got watered.


Fed flowering 1/2 gallon each of:
10 ml/gal Bio Flores
10 ml/gal Bio Boost
2 ml/gal Rhizotonic


Stahma, nice dense buds with a great lemony scent.

Dutch, smaller but more abundant buds. They have a more peppery smell.

Two, despite accidentally cutting that banch, it looks like cleaning up under the screen worked out perfect.
