Real Skunk Wanted

Status
Not open for further replies.
I found a superb skunk in DNA RKS 1 out of 9 I had. It's super skunk and some of the greasiest buds I've felt and seen in awhile, was done in 56 days. I'd stay away from sensi seed thier skunks are not the same as the early 2k ones that were pretty good.

There are some real skunky (nasty smelling) phenos in Insane Chem 91. The kind that make my stomach turn. Makes me wonder if the RKS came from the P bud or whatever strain produced the seeds that made the Chem's ? I found skunky, burnt, pissy smelling phenos with those IC91's and sweet and sour diesel smelling ones. Maybe crossing IC91 to Devil, Shit, Cheese, or Super Skunk and that would make a true RKS like some folks are looking for.

Pretty sure the real skunks were around before the chem/p bud era...

Seems to me most of the "new" best commercial is usually just a cross of the last best...

In my mind a lot of varieties evolved all over out of the old potent skunks and landrace indices that worked inside, and have just been crossed for low smell, finish time, productivity ect... Hard to work back though unless you find the ringgit old beans

Exodus didn't make Cheese my friend.

You're correct in that they were growing in the 80's when they were cannabis activists but they were gifted the cheese cut in the early 90's..I believe some disaster meant they lost their original strains.....i believe a london grower gave them cheese...and they shared this gifted cut of cheese when they entered the rave scene so that they would always have a back up out there.. Either way there are multiple threads to discuss Exodus Cheese, I find it boring going over the same stuff everytime a new guy come in, no offence!

Anyway, back on track......

I'm tempted to purchase a pack of sensi superskunk in the near future from research its definetly not the same as it used to be but maybe there what we are searching for in the F2's??

Peace
I never said exodous made the cheese. I said it was originally from Luton. You was bringing up false facts so I corrected you.
The bloke who found the cheese was wing commander.

What false facts did you correct me on exactly? All I said was that before it was called cheese it was called superskunk bcos it was!

The only way you could prove that to be a false fact would be to build a time machine and go back in time & be in my circle of friends to know what we were smoking & what everyone called it.

I don't think you can do that but if you can go ahead correct as many false facts as you like.

Super skunk is super skunk and cheese is cheese. That's all I was saying, that your wrong calling super skunk cheese. One is one and one is the other. Super skunk is skunk #1 cross afghani, cheese is just skunk #1.
If your bored about this topic then don't post about it mate.

After some heavy searching over the past few months or so. I think I just found 5 minutes ago something
very interesting that I must test out. Tell me people if any of you have tried this baby out. Also have any
of you tried a Uk Cheese hybrid as well and if so how was it? Like I said earlier I've never grown a Skunk
type plant so don't know what to expect.

Kaliman Seeds Cheese#1 Regular

This is Kaliman Seeds's flagship baby and is the first and only cheese strain that totally does what it says
on the tin, namely, that it is indistinguishable from the 1989 Exodus clone mother in both taste and effect.
100% original unhybridized Exodus clone genetics in a stable, healthy, male/female population and with up
to 50% more yield than the original clone. This is the result of a spontaneous sexual reversal of an Exodus
cheese clone that when used to pollinate a sister clone produced progeny genetically identical to the mother
plant.

Yeah I've just chopped down some Ugorg #1 that's Exodous cheese x blues/livers, both these are skunk #1 types. I've also chopped the clone only exodous psychosis which is a kind of sister to the cheese. They both smell like old skool cheese funk, I mean they absolutely stink, especially the psychosis. I've only smoked the scissor hash of each and they were both real nice with psychosis being like tropical cheese, very moreish and expansive. I'll have a better test when buds are dry in a week or so.

Nice to here some feedback information on things.

The term cheese wasn't in use until approx 2005..... What was it called before then?

The Uk Cheese is just a single plant that was selected from a bunch of SKunk#1 plants and renamed Cheese.

It's history is linked in post #49 of this thread.

Hope this resolves everything.

Thats rubbish, I was smoking what we called cheese before 2005. 2005 is when big Buddha bought out the 1st cheese hybrid in seed.
If you've smoked cheese pre 2005 then you've had the real deal the rest are just hybrids.

The only cheese I've grown is from seed from Greenhouse 5 years ago, smelled like some sort of mild cheese I suppose. The best part was the effects because it was closer to skunk 1 than anything else I've tried in 34 years. I've heard their Exodus is the same but not the real deal, be interested in a legitimate example.

I remember visiting London in 2005 and there was no cheese on the streets, only skunk which was not skunky, seemed like a cross with NL in effect.
My guess is cheese is not only skunk but a cross of some kind, let's hope the new dna tests will reveal such secrets.

I think after reading some historic Skunk information. I'm going to put the
Cheese thing on the back burner for now. Something else is more likely to
give me the Roadkill Skunk odor. We'll see how she goes when I try this
breeding experiment.

I will snag some Cheese seeds eventually though as I never experienced this Cheese thing either.
