This way you get the beer flavor without the alcohol.
Maybe that would help some people kick the habit.
I understand addictions is no fun.

Yeah my grandpa used to drink O'douls.stuff is expensive.dont taste bad though

I quit ten years or so ago..
I drank a gallon of Jack a week, quit cold turkey.
I didn’t have any problems. I don’t recommend it.

Sober for 5 years +. I do not crave it, I do not want to feel that depressed again. Brought up by alcoholics. I do not need the agony of the shit. Smoke pot.
It's not that I don't have pot.i simply can't smoke it cause of my PTSD and anxiety.i can only smoke when I'm drinking.if I smoke without drinking it just makes it worse.it really sucks.edibles seem to help though.i can't grow right now but I get butter every once in a while sometimes but not enough
I tried near beer shortly after I quit drinking.
Totally freaked me out. I found myself chugging the stuff and feeling dissatisfied and confused. It might work for some, but not for me at that point.
That's what I was thinking.probably make me go buy real beer,but I'm not like most people.i can go 2 or 3 days drinking non stop without sleeping depending on the beer.i can drink light beer like water that's why I drink ice beer

Has anyone on here tried using naltrexone for help in weening themselves off the drink? It's apparently like Antabuse, but without all the awful side effects, it blocks certain chemical reactions in the brain that make you want to drink more, also works for opiates as well. My sister has just started on it, along with a few other lifestyle changes and it seems to be a major improvement. She's said it's lessened her desire to drink a lot, not completely but says it's a lot easier to control now. Good luck fellas!
My friend said she had something like that and she's a heroin and whatever the hell else she could get addict. she lied that she was on it or it didnt work.i asked my doctor about it and didn't suggest it.just what I know

only time i ever quit was when i was in jail ,,
managed to quit speed ,coke and cigs no problem ( july 16th 2004 last cig at Gypsies flat ) ,,weed i can take it or leave it
going doctors wednesday going to go into rehab ,,i finally had enough ,,got seriously drunk last night and stoned,fell over i think and feels like i broke a few ribs ,,enoughs enough..
