PURPLE HAZE X MALAWI STD

B

thanks GG for the support. I used a crowbar to lose up the dirt to about 2' deep and then stuck them in best I could. I am going to brace the tops like orfeas does with the bamboo poles. I think this is the best way for me as I have a ton of small oaks that are crowded that have them grow pretty straight and they have a fork at the top to help tie up cross braces. I have learned a lot from the good people in here so hope I can put it to use for next season and they will do even better next time.

I will be keeping up with your reports as well so stay safe brother

little update on my purple haze x malawi. they have not started to bloom yet but i do see a few pistols starting to kick out. they have reached the 8.5 ft tall / diameter. i have done some bracing on a few of them trying to be ready when the time comes. i will be doing more as time goes on. there will be a boat load of tops on these girls and the more i bend and manipulate them the more there are

Nice patch! I have always been a fan of the african'. And have used Malawi genetics in crosses with great results. Very large plants always.

Oh boy! I did tell you, didn't I? sorry about that fracture but that's one of the main problems when growing big trees :)
Hopefully you can get down to securing them branches or else you're bound to see it happen again...

Good luck!

orfeas i hear you brother. priority number one is to get them girls fixed up. the feeling i had when i got to the plot is something i don't want again. i will be going overboard with support but i will not get that feeling again beside all the time and effort put into them. going to make a full day of it

stay safe and keep it green

THANKS AZURE FOR THE COMMENTS. I WOULD LOVE TO GO SO DUBI COULD FURTHER MY LEARNING ON THESE TOP NOTCH STRAINS AS I STILL HAVE A LOT TO LEARN. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME GOING OUT SIDE BECAUSE I CAN'T GO INDOOR ANY LONGER SO THERE IS FOR SURE A DIFFERENCE. THE BIGGEST THING IS BRACING THEM UP ON THIS SCALE BUT I WILL LEARN AS I GO.

STAY SAFE AND KEEP IT GREEN

GG THANKS BROTHER THEY HAVE GONE AND BLEW UP ON ME. I MIGHT NEED YOUR SERVICES LATER DOWN THE ROAD. I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE BANGI'S THIS MORNING AS I HAD TO LOLLY POP THEM TO TRY AND GIVE THEM LESS TO CONCENTRATE ON HOPING THAT WILL HELP THEM OUT SOME BUT NOT SURE IT WILL . HAD TO TRY AND FIND OUT. THEY ARE PUTTING A NICE LIME SMELL OFF AS OF TODAY.

STAY SAFE

well here is a little update but the only difference is they are still stretching. i have cleaned up around the bottoms so i could see up inside to do some bracing on the main branches as you can see on the one plant that is my favorite of them you can see the heavy branches and stocks that are about the size of my fist. i will be working on these big girls to the end i think just to get it right this season. thanks again to the ace crew for making this possible. i will wait to post next time for them to have started the bloom. by the way they have already hit the 10' plus mark

stay safe and keep it green

Very nice my friend. I can't remember how many strains you have going? Surprised that the Bangi started to flower and these have not. Soon i guess. These will yield huge.
Cheers GG

Looking great flboy

I think your Purple Haze Malawis are finishing the stretching soon, they usually start to flower in early Sept, at least here in my area.

Thanks, i'm enjoying a lot here with your updates! :)
