... i was thinking on wood poles and run some string around them. all suggestions are welcome

Good idea! That will save you transporting bamboo stakes. Yet you'll have to figure out how to thrust them poles into the ground. I use a pointed crowbar...another option would be tying the side branches to the main stem, which is not applicable in your case since you don't have one due to so much topping...
As for the height, 10 ft is what you're gonna end up with, if not more, meaning ~10 lb fresh matter each... :)

orfeas I think I will have to set wood stakes in and use string. your are spot on not having a base main stem to tie off to. are you saying 10 lb as wet weight correct. the reason I ask this is my first attempt at sativa and out door so have no idea as far as weight goes. so if 10 is what your thinking than around 2 lb dry each?

orfeas here are a couple pic's of my ( p3 ) new killer from the fem breeders pack. they are only 2-3-ft. and same in diameter at present again topped they will probably start bloom in august as well. what kind of height do you think these will get. reason for asking when I go to add support I might as well take care of these to. hell why i'm on the subject I have bangi haze at 5 ft. also topped I might as well tie these up to you think

G'day flboy!
Roger on the dry weight! What I have learned through doing is that well grown ten-footer sativas will easily yield 2 lb dry, so prepare yourself for bountiful crop...
As for staking, we wouldn't need any, were there no wind neither rain...
But 4-5 ft long branches laden with big fat oily buds are an accident waiting to happen when saturated with rain...
A stitch in time saves nine, they say don't they? :)

Excellent outdoor guerrilla work flboy

Looks like a very promising season, your plants in this thread are enjoying a lot the outdoor conditions, the spot where they are planted and your good cares. They are showing real F1 vigour!

Your Purple Haze Malawis are showing a very balanced mix of Haze and Malawi growing traits. It's a pleasure to see your updates, thanks for posting!

thanks dubi and azure
I think the same way azure. I was looking for a breeder that is honest and has good genetics and when I found ace I have no need to shop any place else. that's why I loaded up with there gear and keeping an eye out for more new releases.

dubi with them being a very balanced mix of the 2 will the flowering time still be in November range you think ?

Hi flboy,

Thanks for your kind words :)

Your purple haze malawis will reach flowering stage well developed and with enough age so i think the flowering won't be delayed too much, should finish in the second half of November, early December at the latest.

Best wishes!

Looking at the shaded plants though I can't help wondering whether they're getting enough direct light...

:woohoo:
flboy great job my friend. You definitely have a green thumb.
I'm really impressed by your plants. If mine end up half as big I will be happy.
I think your biggest problem will be stopping those plants from hitting the ground when the buds are huge. You will be trimming till next season, lol.
Peace GG
