Holy bud porn! Those big beautiful women are to die for! Your work is really worsening my sativa madness disorder here LOL excellent job

Thanks so much brother! They're a hell of a lot of fun to grow. :D

That purple girl is nutso man. Something to tell the grandkids about in 30 years time. Absolutely incredible. Enjoy Kas!

Thanks man! I'm thrilled with the results so far. I took cuttings off everything (minus the one plant that herm'd badly), maybe one of these gals will be a keeper. :)

Cant wait hear how she smokes kaskadian!

I'll be sure to post up a full report after a proper cure bruddah!

Ok folks today we are at week 14 since flip. Two of the plants (mango & fat pheno) have been on nothing but plain ol' water for a week now. The mango pheno is very close to being done -- might come down this week. The fat pheno I'm thinking will come down in 7-14 days. Runoff has been virtually the same as my tap water, and I may give them a few drinks of RO leading up to the final watering before I let them dry out for a couple days.

I'm cutting off nutrients to the purple pheno as pistils are starting to turn and trichs are really starting to develop quickly. Still showing about 70% cloudy and 30% clear but they're moving along. With as little nutrients as these plants need I feel like a few weeks on plain water will not be a major issue even in coco. The other two that have been on plain water have showed no health issues and have faded very little.

Will update soon folks. :tiphat:

Brought down the Mango pheno! Trichs were all milky with the one oddball amber (only saw 2 amber -- the rest were milky) The smells on this gal are out of this world. Makes me wish I was on some tropical island with a strong drink and a bowl of this cured and ready to go. She didn't fade much but she was definitely ready! She got about 10-11 days plain water and runoff was next to zero.

Gal was brought down just under 15 weeks. The other two should come down in the next 1-2 weeks.

Love you guys! :tiphat:

That’s a very reasonable flowering time eh Kas? For something that resembles a pure haze so closely. I think Ace have revolutionized the modern haze game by using their amazing semi tamed sativas for hybrization. It brings the pure haze dream that much closer to the common man.

Yeah no doubt! Based on the structure I thought this girl might go the longest but she was done first. The other two gals should hit 16-17 weeks, but I don't see them going any longer than that. Ace has their genetics dialed in man... really incredible work coming out of Dubi's garden. I'll have to start my pure OTH beans soon to hit that 20+ week madness. :D Maybe some CBG Mangobiche (20-24 weeks) as well. Way to many choices from Ace to choose.

A friend of mine was generous enough to share some of his crosses with me and that'll be going into the sativa tent next. Lots of powerful sativa blood in those crosses (Malawi, Panama, etc). Cheers mate you know who you are... :tiphat:

Thanks brother! Yeah I want that soaring sativa effect, I don't need/want any of that amber in this flower. :D I did the easy part Luis/Dubi did the hard work of bringing these seeds out for us. Very thankful for those who work with sativa blood -- I love sativa crosses and I'm glad there are those who are willing to work with these old world monsters.

Cheers guys!

Each of those heads is going to need its own jar! Wide mouth, of course lol.

Those genetics are incredible, I've never seen buds so huge. You must be very proud.

Dubi did all the hard work getting these seeds available for us! I'm very happy with the results and can't wait to load a bowl after a nice long cure. Dubi & the Ace crew deserve all the credit brother.

Thanks for the kind words!

Hi Kaskadian,

I did very little to contribute to such successful grow, all the props go to you! Amazing Sativa Glory! One of the best tropical sativa indoor grows we've seen around these forums! :respect:

Congrats on the harvest of your first Purple Haze x Honduras :) the mango smelling pheno looks very Honduras dominant.

Let me know in case you need genetic recommendations for your upcoming grow, just want to make sure you grow next something really of your taste but different to this crop.

Dubi,

I'm humbled and honored by your words my friend. I know I've repeated myself about 1000x over the coarse of this grow, but I'm very grateful to breeders such as yourself that make these magical sativas available to us. However the grow comes out, I can't say anything other than how thankful I am to people such as yourself because without people like you these strains wouldn't be available to any of us.

Next up in the Ace lineup... I'm going for more BIG sativas! This grow was way to much fun and I'm sitting around with many thoughts of more sativas floating around in my head.

:huggg:

More pictures coming up right away folks... :tiphat:

Week 15 and things are really coming together! Everything will be done very soon folks. I'm keeping a close eye on everything.

First up "fat" pheno. I wasn't handling the cola on this one (hand was just underneath) but it's grown into a BALL of foxtails. Quite literally about the size of a softball. Fading very nicely! Nothing but plain ol' water for two weeks.

Purple Pheno...

This girl has thrown a few nanners but she has been stable for the most part. She didn't start producing nanners until very late in flower. Fading very nicely and her color is so DARK PURPLE that she looks almost black.

Very branchy... strong sage/cedar/garlic aroma. Produces 18"+ colas even after topping. I'm in love!

Seriously, props to all the growers that so elegantly showcase these genetics like OP and especially to Dubi and Ace for taking the risk to specialise in exotic varieties like these rather than making the next Super Purple Double Sour Cookies OG Dream copy cat strain.

I've been watching this grow since before I remembered I had an account, and I gotta say its been a lot of fun seeing it continually become more and more impressive. Kaskadian, I can't wait to see that smoke report. Dubi, I can't wait to fully appreciate some of your group's hard work and expertise.

:bigeye: I'm speechless. :tiphat:

Tip for shooting under HPS apart from using a greycard: try using flash, then set color temp to 2200-2400 afterwards in white balance, those beauties deserve her true colors to be seen!.

Thanks brother! I'm in love with this strain. This is another Ace Crew gem. You need to get yourself some Ace genetics mate... you won't be sorry.

Thanks brudduh! Also thanks for the tip! Before harvest I'm either going to swap out my HPS for the MH, replace the light with T5, or make the treacherous journey carrying these plants outside for some natural sunlight. Before chopping I definitely want some proper photos of these plants. I'll see if I can figure out the color temp, but I will make sure to get proper photos before chop. :tiphat:
