Wow...Jawdropping beauty! 20 pages in 4 months isn't really uploading too much :whistling: Those last weeks we need you to be real porn director

Syd that means a hell of a lot from you brother! You're one of the guys around here that inspired me to get my grow going. Your thread "Touch too much" has been a constant source of inspiration, I spent a lot of time drooling over your work. Thanks a lot man!

I'm trying to get into porn director mode. Listening to lots of old 1970's funk music.

For those living under a rock, go check out Syd's incredible work! Check out what a real grower can do with these sativas.

This is super sticky sativa thread....and just keeps growing!!!

I wish I could grow half as well as the folks in that thread! Thanks HG! :tiphat:

Wow ... they look superb ... great colours and great grow. Appear to still have a few weeks left before harvest with all those shimmering white pistils.
Will probably need a good 6 month cure to bring out the best ... just in time for Xmas !! Looking forward to the ongoing smoke reports !!

Thanks brother! I wouldn't be surprised if this particular plant hits 16-18+ weeks. Still getting new snow white pistils daily. The other two gals in the tent are starting to slow down. I'm definitely going to set the flower aside for a nice long cure!

Thanks for stopping in! I'll be doing a full smoke report on everything. I've got a few friends locally that grew up in the 1960's and 1970's that I'm going to get additional smoke reports from after everything has had a proper cure.

Bootz! Thanks brother! I'm very impressed with the yield on this cross. I think the Honduras has played a real role in improving the yields in the cross. I wasn't expecting this cross to yield as high as it has been. I think the OTH shows itself in the plant I posted last night; that's the least developed by far and without question will go the longest in flower. Bootz, you were also an inspiration of mine when it came to doing this grow. Your "garden of slothiness" is a work of art and everyone here should go take a look at your stellar work.

Cheers brother! Thanks for dropping in! Best cure for that fever is to get yourself some beans started. ;) Hoping to see a log of yours around here soon.

But I already have one going! Lol. I can't wait to get some of that old world dank growing. I look at your bud shots and just drool thinking about how those must make you feel when you stare at them like a hawk. Those Honduran genetics are hideously aesthetic. Like a radioactive mutant you can't help but fawn over. My biggest problem with Ace is ALL THOSE CHOICES. I just can't settle on any particular strain for the life of me. I want them all!

You're too kind man! I agree, there are too many choices with Ace! You better get several packs to scratch that itch. :D What are you considering now?

That's a hard choice. I definitely want to get a couple Haze keepers from the different varieties Ace have. I've found so far that new strains can be hit or miss, but if there's any particular strains that older people talk about in reference to "that really good weed I used to get all the time" then that stuff is the bomb. Super Silver Haze, Jack Herer, White Widow, Amnesia Haze, those have been some of the best strains I ever had and they all have Haze lineage. I gotta do the Haze with some Thai genetics, as well. I just finished a hybrid that was Thai dominant and I've been in outer space since I jarred it sunday morning after work lmao ::rasta:

After that selection, I'm going crazy with African sativas. I don't even know where to start with them. Malawi looks awesome. Zamaldica seems to be an IC favorite. Golden Tiger looks really good too.

I definitely want to grow some Honduras now too because those monster buds are just too cool. I need a jar full of that in my life. Those have got to be some of the coolest flowers I've ever seen.

You sativa guys have some serious patience. I think that will be the hardest part, but I'm getting tired of all the hybrids being the same. Its either an American feeling hybrid or a Dutch feeling hybrid. I love everything the last generation left me, but I need something different for my garden. I'll still love my OGK and Skunk mommas, but so much of what's on the market feels like small variations of just a handful of different varieties. There's gotta be more genetics brought in to the pool before all we have is inbred hemp, and some of these Ace strains look super exotic. The more popular these exotic genes get, the healthier our favorite genome will be.

Hey GG ! :)

Don't forget that time flies when you're in love... ;) I find long flowering sativas more rewarding cause they allow a longer and deeper connection with the plants. Except for bad weather related problems (when outdoor), i'd say the only downside is that there's often some sadness at harvest time...

Haha thanks brother; I'm honored! I'm definitely having a lot of fun. Your grows & techniques were a definite inspiration in this project. I'm looking forward to testing out your cob technique man!

Please take some time to check out Tangwena's amazing work & cob technique that he was generous enough to share with us!

Hi Kas!
Very nice thread and beautiful girls,
Congrats Bro!

Thanks a lot Nico! I've been enjoying watching your grows brother.

It sounds like you have some excellent ideas brother! I think Malawi, Zamaldelica, Golden Tiger would all be excellent choices! All really seriously, monstrously potent choices! ;) Can't wait to see what you choose my friend.

Absolutely right brother! Very rewarding plants to grow. There is definitely a deep connection with these plants especially when you've spent 3, 4, 5+ months caring for them. This entire grow has flown by and I've enjoyed every second.

Guys we've passed 13+ weeks. Two of the faster maturing plants were flushed out and will be given plain water for the next two weeks or so. I'm getting mostly cloudy trichomes, and even an amber here or there. The majority of the pistils are starting to turn. I think the first two will be ready to take down somewhere between 15-16 weeks post flip. I don't want to overdo these sativas; I'm after that soaring effect.

The "purple" plant is still mostly clear with some cloudy coming in. I think she may hit 17-18+ weeks. About 95% of her pistils are still snow white. She is still being fed on her regular nutrient schedule.

Here's a couple popcorn bud shots off the mango smelling pheno. I will do a proper update at 14 weeks. Perhaps some more pictures coming soon. :tiphat:

Great looking buds my friend ! :) Between the genetics and your loving care, they were bound to be from the start... ;)

Imho, it's definitely the whole point... :)

Wow Kaskadian, you are truly brave growing pure tropical sats indoors! and a gifted gardener! :tiphat:

Drooling with those flowers! Can't wait to see the end / fall colors!

That lady foxtailing looks like it will end up being "pure bud" from top to bottom... remember this pic from Terpene's Honduras?

Big thank you to Repuk for putting up his guide to inserting photos! No more photobucket to deal with!

Glad it helped brother! :)

It's always better to store the pics on icmag, so that they aren't lost in the future, it's very sad finding an old thread full of great info or drooling comments, just to discover the pics are no longer there because photobucket or the like purged the user account... (Growergasmus interruptus!)

Hi Kaskadian,

I feel like a kid in a candy store following every update :dance013:

Congrats for being perseverant and for keeping the excellent gardening skills through the whole flowering process
It is not easy to keep these sativa so healthy and well developed without a single failure through such long flowering time. :respect:

Nice to see some are close to finish, the mango smelling one seems done or close to it .... yeah, i'm of the same opinion, better don't overmature sativas if you are seeking for their most uplifting social and clean qualities, unless is a Malawi or a Malawi cross and you want to get that super resinous Malawi styled buds that will blow your mind in a heavy and aggressive way :D

Glad to see the Purple Haze colors finally shining in some of them, Purple Haze pheno from Oldtimer's Haze line and its hybrids stay green through most of the cycle (especially indoors with constant warm temps) to suddenly and finally produce purple and reddish colors, usually mainly after the second half of flowering.

I'm very happy for you, to experience Purple Haze traits is something really special, an experience you will probably remember with nostalgia your whole life.

Best wishes for the last weeks of flowering! :ying:
