If I had to do over I would have started them a month earlier. I have 2 that are not showing signs of budding. I'm shooting for seeds and checking for hermies, then crack seeds in July or Aug

I'm kinda bummed that Ace seeds discontinued Double Thai, I got 7 seeds when I backcrossed it. I ruined my pollen by opening the jar up straight out of the freezer (it got condensation on it), so we'll see how those go later this year. I also crossed it with a Kalichakra male which is a S.E. asian dominated strain apparently, looking forward to that. The four Double Thai I grew seemed homogenous and none of the three females showed any hermie flowers which sounds rare but?.... who knows? Maybe I will try another landrace hybrid with the cannabiogen highland Meao Thai genetics like the golden tiger or destroyer. I wouldn't even think any of these thai's that I have going now were even the same strain but then again... who knows?

I have (2) double thais and a Chiang Mai Thai that are 2 weeks into 12/12 indoors. They are just starting to really stretch. I'm going to cut the lights back more soon. Should be an interesting 5 months or so....

Yeah it really was when the daylight hours dropped to a more 11-13 kind of cycle that I really started to notice rapid flower development on the Double Thais. They developed about one hair each week from about mid august to early october (12-12), then thats when I started to see a change of pace at about 11.5 hours daylight. Then saw incredible growth before and after winter solstice at 11.

Lookubg at the hairs I'd say it still can take a while.

Nice looking Gypsy Thai you have there Purple Cloud. They're a real treat to grow out. Got 2 ready to harvest in my closet after a 24 hour dark period. How many days/weeks did you let them go before harvesting? 130-140 days?

I hope you plan on a second run, they only get better.

Thanks everyone.

That was my second run, still got her going. The taste is very sweet lemon with other citric notes and spicey, hashy, smokey undertones.

The high is up and gets very spacey the more you smoke. It gets you stoned but not in an indica way.
