Aloha everyone this is my first post here, I have been thoroughly enjoying this thread and am very grateful to you all for sharing, this year I started 4 double thai seeds, 3 of them were female. I gave one two a friend and planted two in the ground. One in the ground survives and I just took a picture of it this evening which I hope I will be able to post. I saved pollen from the male but it didn't store well and I only ended up getting about 10 seeds, I took clones of the my lady about a month ago and they are all doing well so I am hoping to get one male out of those 10 seeds to try again. I have really loved her ever since she started growing, just so strong and bushy! there are a few tops left on her that I am letting go as long as possible, the others had to come off because of pest pressure and wilt. hmmm.... will have to work out this picture process, apparently I cannot just pull it off my computer, it is asking me for the url of my image? anyways she is about 11 ft tall and really has surprised me this last month by really putting on some weight and pushing lots of new hairs even as it seems she is on her last leg!

Thanks budsandblunts, so thankful this forum is active couldn't have been better timing. The best thing about it is I grew it (as an experiment)in the native soil 60%, biochar 10%, EWC 10%, homemade compost 10%, marine compost 10%. about a month or two into flower I top dressed a couple of times with cal phos, epsom salts, and EWC, and gave it comfrey tea every week. Overall the cost was very low to grow her. Thanks to this forum I didn't havrvest early like I might have.

Mahalo dirtboy808, I started the seeds a little to early imo, in February. They did not show sex until mid august when they had been in the ground since May, I got lucky! I am on the west side and thanks for chiming in. I have been spending some time on icmag this year and have tried reading as many forums on growing in Hawaii and the tropics as I have time for. I appreciate your many posts! I just popped a bunch of landrace seeds a few weeks ago, trying to sex and clone them so I am not just guessing this year. Punta rojo, mangobiche, wild thai, and mama thai. will posts pics soon!

If you don't use sup lighting and keep in small pots you should get some buds before they try to regrow. Mine are budding now.

That's good to hear.
I've been wondering if they will stuck in vegetative state for most of the year.
I just planted them so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Aloha

Infinitesimal: I had 3 packs of 15 and 41 broke soil Of which, 3 were males.

SSO: I usually don't trim mine either. I flowered the longer flowering Thai for 37 weeks and I cut her down to relocate. The fastest ones were about half way done. One seemed like she would not finish, ever.

How can a cannabis plant flower for 9 MONTHS? That's a first for me.

thanks strandloper, they might be ready by christmas with the green haze influence. My Double Thai is still going, that is at least half of it is!. It is pushing lots of new hairs and I am just trying to keep the bugs at bay without spraying. I have already harvested about 1.5 lbs of nice denser flowers and about the same of loose flowers that I will make into rosin. All the homies are loving the clear high, but I will definitely be curing most of it.
