3 more confirmed females.. they are getting vegged now - one Mangarosa x Banghi, one CT x PTK, one more SSH x LP.

so for the coming flowering there is gonna be a few new plants too - all in all 11 females are ready ( a few are clones of other new ones - remember some plants broke in transplant and i cloned them?) - but they are going to get vegged untill there is space in the grow room. i started some LST and other training methods including super cropping etc to keep the plants down.

there is 10 seeds or so of the ones planted last week that havent popped yet - and most likelly wont. some of them i gave a little scraping to alove moe humidity to reach inside - but really i think its a lost cause after a week.

all in all there is a nice bunch of new seedlings - and its definetly going to get bloody crowded in there quite soon again..


all three fluoro spaces (about 1000W and 4m2) is now for vegging.

i might throw in a few mroe sativas into the HPS room - since anyway they take their time - and some of them wont even start flowering before some of the others will be done.. i just hope the growth rate is going to be under control.

im notreally transplanting any sativas to 12 liter pots at all - rather im letting them flower in the 6,5 liter pots - some in even smaler containers! atleast untill they have shown some preflowers. then i will transplant a few more.

i got many pots - but they are becomming all taken by plants..hehe soon i will have to invent alternative methods.. im thinking for example to put many clones together to flower in a big tray full of cooo.. but mroe about that later when it gets time. i got a big tray 70 x 1 meter and its enough no doubt for a lot of small clones to flower.. would be necesary to give very little veg.. well when it gets necesary i will look more into it..

rigth now its time to smoke a spliff..

hehe king dub at the moment its just a very varied indoor grow - since i only got one keeper since before. but never the less - i hope im going to finally find a few more interesting (with that i mean something mindnumbing, somethng that will make u hallucinate hehe) keepers. i really only aim to keep the most potent or interesting ones - atleast for a few runs to determin exactly if its to our likeing or not.

personally id like to have a keeper sativa - since i dont have the speedy mozambquean anymore - and now i hope to find something even more tropical in flavour and high.

also who knows what is going to come out in all the phenos of the strains.. well - atleast there is a few of some strains..

im having a spell of cold waeather going here..

the flowering room is only at 20 degrees.. thats really not a lot at all...

in the following days i will put in a gas heater i will put on every now and then..

well since its really cold - and the plants are not using a lot of water - i just did a few transplants today of a couple seedlings, and a few confirmed females that are in veg.

so i took time to do an extensive inventory (lol - i never thought id need to do that to keep track of my grow..) and i got the current situacion under control.. hehe

here comes the lists.

3 MANGAROSA x BANGHI - LMN
- these are all in veg but will get transplanted into 6,5 liter pots as soon as they dry out a little bit and put in to the flowering room. because i don think i should veg them much more.. them beeing allready many months old from seed..

2 SSH x LP - cloneman
- these are the only 2 left to sex of the SSH x LP. these 2 are very small and i decided to keep vegging them instead of having them under 12/12 to sex. these will be the some of the few that will og into the coming flowering round unsexed - unless they show sex during the coming monts.. wich they will most likelly..

4 VERDE LIMON - Cannabiogen
- these are all unsexed - a few look like males but its too early to say - i really hope for a 50/50 ratio in these.. they grow very slow..

1 CONGO - LMN
- i REALLY hope this is a female.. i hope this will be an interesting african variety - something a bit more stony than the mozambiquean i used to have, well.. not much to do but wait and see.. this one also is a slow grower..

2 ECSD x OGK - JIM MORRISON
- these are so nice.. reminds me on the lingoberry/cranberry bush.. small and a lot of branching.. if these are both male i will get rid of them and plant more in a month or so.. such an interesting plant - i like the expresion STACKED used by the herbalizor it really just is an other node after an other - with hardly any stem between. it is going to be interesting to see how they react in flowering - and even if they are males i will let them go for a little while extra to see how they are. of course - moving them to the male room hehe..



SEXED and in VEG; and the next bunch to get flowered; (12)

1 CT x PTK - my cross
- it has been LST'd to keep it down since it has started to stretch from the preflowering stage it reached while gettig sexed.. this plant has been growing in a very small amount of coco for a long time and im afraid its gonna explode in growth soon...

3 SSH x LP - Cloneman
- the exited i feel about these is un-necesary to express..... same mom as my keeper.. an lp is very nice... its gonna be fun to see how the ssh combines with santamarta gold dominat cross of Lovepotion.. it promises a lot of resin !

1 MANGAROSA x BANGHI
- should be a nice one and this one should go into the flowering room as soon as possible.. its gonna be a long flowering...

2 THAI/MEX x BANGHI
- should move em to 12/12 HPS room.. ah wel.. ASAP i will..

1 SSH/PTK x ?
- some loose pollen of either cascadia, ptk or somthing i had going hit a nug and i kept the seed..

2 SSH x PTK - BIG MOMS -
- they will get pruned back a bit and flowered in BIG pots.. i will transplant them soon too....

2 DIVA G x LP (LOVEPOTION (LP is (WEST COAST SANTA MARTA GOLD X (WEST COAST SANTA MARTA GOLD X G13)) - Cloneman
- slender looking ladys - dont know what to expect at all in these gonna be fun!

2 JAMAICA x UZBEKISTAN - LMN
- this might be intersting - however this far they seem somewhat lanky - but never-the-less all flowering is still ahead...

2 CHEESE/TRAINWRECK x PTK - my own cross..
- these 2 ladies are growing very uniform.. i really hope they will have some of the fruity intersting flavour of the cheese i used as mom. it was a flavour that was SPECIAL and something all who tried liked. fruity and resinous.. the aroma was a nice one too.. lets see what comes out... i have had reports of nanners in these - but i have many times noticed PTK is very light sensitive and the least reason will give nanners - lets see about these.. one of many i amde and havent tried yet...

3 SSH x PTK (PTK is Pine Tar Kush) - cloneman
- these 3 ladies are a blast to watch.. i bet im going to have an intersting time in front... i can say rigth now all have reached the compact growth with branches growing along the main stem that is so typically for the PTK - it looks these phenos are going to be neat... i hope for a keepr or 2!


2 ALIBI F4 (Texas Mystic,ATW x Sweeth Tooth #4) - (drjay,medjool,naut)
- my friend naut has done an outstanding job on these - this far they are beatyfull. the shorter pheno has stronger serated shape on leafs and bigger saw tooths than the taller - but then again the taller is THE TALLEST one in the whole bunch and reminds me of the TALL GIRL the late mrs.medjool talked about when she made seeds.. i have smoked from the keeper of naut and i KNOW its good stuff - ROCK hard nugs - so much resin you dont know where to look for more.. its just gleaming nugs.. i hope for something similar!!


1 BLOCKHEAD X BLUEBERRY- XYZ
- this baby is really exiting too - my friend Xyz have been doing a great job thats well documented here on icmag - and this far this short nice looking plant is promising.. the closest i ahve smoked to blueberry is the skywalker cross... i think this cross from XYZ should be even better since selection has been based on resin content and potency!


2 BEENIEMANS CHOISE (JAMAICAN ELITE)
- wont go again into the story behind - but thse seeds my sis got from JAMAICA are from a SELECT ELITE smoke that is not comercially available to normal tourists.. its the fact of the connections of her in the jamaican record industry i got my hands on this.. respect to beenieman - and i hope this is gonna be nice!


1 JAMAICAN "NEGRIL"
- comercial jamaican highgrade - good smoke, also from same source.. no elite strain as far as i know.. BUT - should be interesting never the less..


1 SSH x LP - Cloneman
- this lady has some sisters in veg and its fun to run one before the others to get a taster of what is coming ahead! same SSH as in the SSH x PTK as in our keeper from cloneman.. the sativa parent might do some intersting things here!! im stoked about this one too!

2 PETENERAS (GUATEMALAN SATIVA) - CBG
- these guatemalan sativas are from an area in guatemala i was living in for a while during my travelling years - however these seeds have been kindly gifted by kaiki at cannabiogen after i asked about guatemalan sativas.. i hope for a flashback in smoke, flavours and memories.. nostalgia smoke! anyway highland jungle sativas from the land of ancient cultures..

1 JOTAKE (indica cross) - LMN
- this one is called hits hard in basque language - and i hope it stands up to its name..


besides these plants mentioned, i got about 40 seedlings, an other 40 or so of clones of the ssh x ptk keeper of hours..

ah - and the 4 males.. 3 SSH x LP and one Pandora (F13 x Bubblegum)

i got some coco expanding.. using too big amounts.. i hate going to buy more!

the term jungle is something i particularly like for describing my flowering room its the aim.. lots of plants in all sizes and flaovours an oxygen bomb in my own basement

It's true it tastes like strawberry chewing gum?? how's the high?

No problem as a "father" (grower) I have lots to learn first!

Another question, in your experience, what's the minimum advisable Watt per sq meter in vegging? I have just a 55W PLL in my Ikea cab (60x40cm) but I'm having problems with RH it's going lower than 40%... the ballast doesn't get too hot and it's on the cab top next to the extractor so most heat should exit before warming the cab...

I tried a DIY humidifier (a tupperware filled with water with a CPU fan blowing into it forcing humid air to exit through some holes) but didn't help too much... neither the mandala's drying the solo cups in just a day in its second week!

I'm thinking that maybe it has to do with too much extraction... will try a mod for temp regulation on the extractor fan.

herbalizor tip is exelent - i thought recomending wettex-cloths - those for kitchen use - they are small and hold a lot of water.

humidifiers are expensive.

i luckilly got high humidity here -this makes me use DE-humidifiers and gain free distilled water. about 6 liters a day! but its 600W!!

put a light dimmer on the extractor if u got too much flow. its cheap..

leonidas!! props for ur method! i will modify and use the knowledge in my setup saving 1/5 of nutes is a LOT on money in the long run!

well - i went completelly crazy and i threw in the 4 last confirmed sativa females into the flowering room... i just presume it is NO great idea to keep them under veg. its 2 Thai/mex x banghi, and 2 mangarosa x banghi...

so 4 new females went into the HPS room - and also 2 Verde limon allready in there showed sex - this means now we got 3 more strains to smoke test - AND 6 plants - so 2 phenos of each...

now this is getting interesting..

plants sexed left in veg are females of hybrids..
3 ssh x lp, 3 ssh x ptk and one ct x ptk.. with 2 months veg untill next time three is openings in the HPS room.. the 2 big moms will be trees and the before mentioned seedlings and clones will be bushes.. what ever space will be left will get filled with clones that i have rooting.. clones of the keeper ssh x ptk..

im working VERY HARD on getting this perpetual.. BUT i dont really like the tradicional perpetual tray grows - i want a forest that never ENDS!

the seedlings i now planted wont get flowered untill in about 4 months or so!!!!

i wont plant seeds untill we are in december or so...

anyway - only thing i see when thinking ahead is im going to be the f**king glory of the growshop.. they are gonna get rich on me buying coco and nutes! tw*ts!

i cut the tip of a SSH x PTK i intented to super crop.. the stem is SOLID. crushing it destroyed it and i didnt like the brown colour in the bend - it was soft and not cool.. so i cut it away and cloned the tip.. now im going to get an other female of this one - so its gonna be 4 clones of the same! i really hope she is good smoke!

finished my nutes... gotto go buy more! should get those gallon bottles this time.. also i didnt have time to water the plants recently taken into the HPS room.. the lights went off!

OMG... dealing with such diversity should be hard! Do you keep written records/logs to help you? Or deal with everything from memory???

theherbalizor, bonecarver, last night I tried hanging a wettex towel (bayeta checked RH a couple hours later and raised it to 58%, but the towel was almost dry in just a couple hours...

I will check today after 8 or 10 hours, hope the RH is kept that level, but I'm afraid I'll have to reduce extraction to be able to maintain a steady RH level...

Yes reducing your RH is the best bet. But not so much so that your heat rises to unmanagable levels. I would rather have lower rh than high heat.

I am unsure what a wettex towel is, i presume some kind of kitchen disposable towel. Perhaps try a small basin hand towel, one that will retain water for longer. Ie, a bath towel could be just great, if you can fit it in, but the smaller the towel the easier to fit, but the quicker the evaporation will be.
