Dude, see there, man. Ya worked it out for yourself... hehe. All ya needed was a little "outside-the-box" thinking. Glad I could help.

Perfect answer, and one I use all the time. Got a problem that's gonna take some time to fix???

1. Make sure you've got plenty stash to last you for the duration.

2. Find a comfy hammock strung between two shade trees.

3. Lie down in it (for your own safety, don't try to do this stoned).

4. Now, while in this position ya might be tempted to go in this direction -------> . Save that till later and instead, roll a spliff and place it between your lips.

5. Light it. (IMPORTANT! light the end furthest away from your lips) Like this guy's doin ------->

6. Draw in some of the smoke, hold it in your lungs for about 5 seconds, and then exhale...

7. Open your mouth and say "Fuck It" really loudly and put some force behind it!

i have powdery mildew on my a few leaves, tomorrow i will deside wether i should remove the affected leaves or spray them with something organic.

what that spray would be i dont know yet, any useful hints of whats available in bc would be nice.....

Hi stoneshaper, BC told me to check out your grow. I couldn't find a grow thread but your gallery looks great.

If your powdery mildew hasn't spread too badly you can make a simple solution of one crushed aspirin mixed with a gallon of water and spray your plants.

Acetylsalicylic acid (bayer aspirin) is derived from the bark of the willow tree and is effective in jump starting your plants immune system to control mildew.

you could also use a willow bark mixture if you have access to willows trees but the aspirin mixture is equally effective, and can be applied at regular intervals without damaging the plant all the way into the flowering stages.

you are lucky to have nice weather, in bc it rains way too much and the summer is too short!
My plants are short and some never really got going after the first cold shock, im hoping this next while of sun will do them good!

the mold is now gone, kind of weird.

bro maybe the weather has changed to the better - no mould should mean atleast the rellative humidity is going down

yeah i shouldnt complain about the heat really thats why i moved down here in the first place i just need to plan my life better

got lots of work today - gonna flush all my moms... its soon vacation time - and to be able to go away from this flat for more than a night at a time, i need to set up my pump and buy some trays + move all the plants in veg to the living room, where they will recieve natural light, that is a bit more difused than the fluoros that are creating too much heat too close to the plants - and it makes them use a lot of water - much more than necesary, really

ah -ok forgot to note that because of the hermie tendencies in the genetics of the (pure sativa) mozambique (from La Mano Negra), the hybrid with the PTK dad shows some hermie tendencies - BUT as in the original mozambique, the hermies come early and it is possible to remove these plants in good time.. i still got one flowering that has no hermie tendencies, but im thinking these seeds most likelly work better outdoors - where light stress is a minimal issue.

But untill further im NOT going to send any seeds of that - unless some one of the test growers insists - and is prepared. i dont want any one that doesnt like hermie plants to get a bad day - so this one is for ppl prepared to plant a few plants extra - or pick a mom of a non-hermie - and use it for clones.

one thing is sure - the more lankier pheno was very resinous before i cut it! and there is something interesting in there for sure

the cross that is looking MOST uniform and stable is the Cheese/TrainWreck x PTK, atleast this far

darn it.. i keep dropping my PH meter in the rez its gone haywire - i hope its going to work as soon as its dry.. i needto water and im not 100% sure the PH is ok i hope later tonight itll work, i need to water!

actualy i cant get an replacement PH meter untill monday, nor do i have PH-drops... so its pretty much an catastrophy if i dont get the meter to work...

fixed the PH meter.. these things seem un-distructable. only thing i need to do to fix it is to dry it and calibrate...

vacations started today!! one of these days i will prepare the envelopes to all the peoples risking to plant my seeds hehe

also gonna have an adventure trying to set up an ebb flow table for my plants in veg - they need water every day..

i need to fix the table and make sure i can leave this flat for more than a few days during the vacations!

i know you need time off, i hope you get it. an ebb and flow system works great usally

thats what i did when i grew indoors, great, just time how often to fill with water and for how long per time to avoid over flow itll all work out!

its going to be fun im going to start putting together my IKEA ebb and flow system. the main containers ended up rediculously cheap. 35 euro for the rez + 2 trays!

this system will really only be for my plants in veg. i wish i had money enough to set up one more for the flowering room - but i think i have to rely on a mate coming over to water them every 2 days... lets see.. if i find a cheaper solution for the flowering room...

yesterday i cut a very small Bogelgum x BlackDomina (holygong) and i got to say it was really nice smoke - and i think im going to reveg the BIG one i got. the big one got a very woody hard stem, and the bud-buildup looks promising. its a slow one, but it looks productive... so a keeper i think..

well i made it.. just got to try it.

it was quick... didnt need much more than the drill a few bits and a knife and small saw.

material:

2 trays
1 rez
1 pump
1 air-pump
a few bits of tube
1 T junction for the tubes.
a few zip-ties


the equipment:

a hole in the middle of the lid - check IKEA logo




airpump between trays




t junction in the midle barelly sticking out over the level of the trays





zip-tied the trays together to make give more solid structure
on the extremes




and in the middle




i put the tubes in for the trays, and fixed them inside with a few zipties to a ridge in the inside corner.




im off to try it with water
