post what u want BROTHER :D ur my guest of honour ;) feel like at home :D

im stoked with your plants :D i wish i could plant outdoors too.. but i will have to wait a good while more i think :D

i can see they have started to grow very well :D soon enough they will be big bushes :D to me it seems like they are just entering the rapid growth stage - and i bet u will end up with bushes over 4 feet tall - even though they might look small now - there is still a long time left untill they have finished flowering :D

all the best and good luck :D may your plants get all the sun they can! :D

peace

hi bro!
and hi to you medjool!
i hope you are all fine!
the weather here in bc around where i live has been pretty rainy again for a week plus a few days, the weather has been warm though, but rainy...
i went for a run today to my field of dreams, to make sure the plants are fine and check on the water res to see how much I gained in there.
it was all nice looking, one measly little spider was making a nest on one finger of the leaf on one of the plants, i took the part away and tossed it down the cliff. poor little thing.
The plants had grown a bit through the rain and filled up a little, maybe because of the clean up i did of little things on the stems?
there was some more signs of flowering starting to happen, but only on the branchings.

but they are coming along!

some of the new growth was lighter green even though i managed to feed them a few days before it started( or was it the day before? cant remember).
ill probably have to redo it in a week when the soil has dried out a little.

but damn that spot is so nice, the view is awsome from up there, great place to bring a really cool date to (only good trustable cool liberally minded hippiesh pot smoking close female friends- offcourse- cant be careful enough..)

the spot was introduced to me through an old friend of mine, he had inherited it from someone else many years earlier. As young guys they had carried back pack fulls of good rich organic soil, several loads of horse fertilizer etc. none of them had very large plants though.
the first grows were done lower down on the cliff closer to the forest, where they had awesome soil but not good sun.
the second owners grew in washed jute coffee bags, new ones, unused..

the idea was good, required no digging just bringing up soil and perlite, throw it into the bags stick them on the cliff, water and smile..

they ended up having the driest summer in a few years and water every second day with two trips up a mountain per day, carrying one twenty liter jug and three four liter jugs in a back pack. imagine climbing that. they were pretty beat and had to take turns to put up with it.

bags didnt seem to work they got more sun in better locations but dried out and got fried easely.

i decided to follow the highest area and the naturals folds in the cliff where there would be deeper pockets of soil, where water would hold easier.
i dug a whole bunch of holes, carried bags of soil in back packs, perlite, lots of mixed manure- partially composted, compost, more soil...
after that i decided that having to carry water would be really sucky and pain full so i started to dig a big hole instead.

i lined it with two layers of 6mil poly covered it with a few logs threw a green tarp over it let i hang between the logs and over onto the ground, cutting holes through it in the pockets so that it could drain into the reservoir when it rained, threw a whole bunch of branches and twigs and sticks over it....
and it was just a pile of forest debris- camouflaging the hole.
invisible almost.

i later added all the soil from the previous grows into my holes too, transplanted the clones and today i started to feel a bit better about them in general, maybe they will get large enough...

they are supposed to take uptil 11 weeks before they are done, that means that they have to start flowering really soon to work out before the shitty weather at the end of summer which usually is in end of september, but sometimes good weather carries through until halfway into october- im hoping for that!

all of you all take care, good luck with all your flowers!!
here is my nycd´s!! my babies!!

hey bro!

how are ya!
yes they are swelling..!

re spiders;
i have ants that do that!

the spider weaves together the leaves to a nest, making them curl to a ball, undesired, i decided, and have been pinching them of....

the ants are doing great though, ive been ther watching them run around looking for prey....!
and the plants are clean from bugs...

they also carried away perlite soaked in molasses syrup to their den!

It was funny to see!

nycd...

usually those balls of fluff in the leafes are caterpillar babies.. definetly better to get rid of - before they eat ur buds and ur leafs.

bacillus thurgiensis works great against those caterpillars :D

hehe this time of the year the ants are very hardworking :D got my flat full of those mini-black ants. they seems to have hollowed out all walls etc :D hehe glad ill be moving out soon enough :D

hope the perlite wasnt too hard to digest for the poor ants :D hehe

peace :D

hi buddies!

i have a little story about cater pillars...

we were smoking my friends outdoor grown grapefruit and, as i always do, i broke up a bud by hand using myfingers, the way i prefer...
as i am doing it a fat one inch long cater pillar falls out of bud, its a little dried and shrivelled and very dead.

my friend looked over after i said that this is groce!

he looked at the maggot like thing and got green in the face.

he said that quite a few of the buds had tasted a little werid and burnt slower....

i dont think ill ever use a bud buster, never have never will.

after picking out pine needles and pieces of perlite over the years, i think its wiser...

enough about that.

i rode my bike out to the patch and hiked the last bit to get out there after i hid the bike in the forest.

things are swelling up even more.

im praying for a long dry fall

take care brethren!

uuuh that sucks :( hehe

i got this paranoia of smoking mouldy or bug infested outdoor buds too - and i doo open up and look inside the buds to make sure they are ok..

worst was last outdoor harvest - that bit by bit got stranger flavour in the jars - and suddenly i noticed they had all molded.. well

we DID a LOT of BHO and ice-hash - but when u really wanted bud.. that sucks a lot..

here there is a small brown/golden beetle not more than a few milimeters long , and this bug likes the smell of fresh cut bud it seems,, sometimes i find them flying around when im rolling spliffs, or sometimes i suddenly see them running around in my bowl. these dont how-ever infest the buds,, they just seem atracted by some strains..

hope u had a sunny day! :D

peace :D

new pics

oaxacan - nice pheno

oaxacan crap pheno

Cheese/Trainwreck x PTK

both very similar... interesting?

Mozambique x ptk - hehehe the ugly one is funny... looking resinous still :D

the ugly one has interesting leaf calyx ratio... or lack of leafs in the bud! hope it fattens up slow like the moz mom did..

the other pheno is more hybrid - a taller PTK type, lets see bud formation later..
