Project EDEN - the COCO-COOP

yesterday i checked on the clones i cut and kind of abandoned due to work etc. well it seems most of them were ok - even though i hadnt even misted them etc - and they went dry twice.

so now i got more clones again than i got space for.. so i got to start selecting a small bit between the clones.

i did take a few cuts of all moms not cloned yet, and a few extra, so now i got back up to say the least, only one it seems to be tight with is the mozambique, since the revegged mom is slowly dying, and i only got one clone :)

the more positive news are i did manage to reveg the seeded X18/DC and clone it in time before it died too (hehe the heat is taking its toll) and i have now 2 clones that look healthy. it is quite important for me to get this one going.

also i got clones of the alibi (wich now indeed has revegged into a BIG plant) and also there is clones of tha late pheno of the JD (also fairly big reveg now)..

i stopped feeding the oaxacan nutes for the moment. i dont think i got space to reveg it, but since i got a bunch of interesting sativa seeds to plant for a good while forward, i do not worry.

peace all :D

hola!

too bad about the few surviving clones due to heat bro!

i wish i had some heat for my plants, its just medium temps, high twentys and 13 to 14 degree nights.

i have powdery mildew on my a few leaves, tomorrow i will deside wether i should remove the affected leaves or spray them with something organic.

what that spray would be i dont know yet, any useful hints of whats available in bc would be nice.....

dont you have air conditioning?

no bro - no air-con here :D but in the house i will install one.

u can spray the leafs with anything of higher or lower PH than normal - that will kill the fungus. try water with a bit of baking soda, but rinse the leafs afterwards. also i think i read spraying with a mix of H2O2 will kill the fungus also.

i think the question is to make sure the fungus doesnt have an environment they like. i think i you might have to continue the treatment for a while to make sure it works.

also - check ur gardening stores - they might have something in there too :D Neem-oil wich is organic also usually works against moulds.

i hope u get it under controll

peace!

they yields go down in the heat - specially if the plants are small like now.

big plants with good roots in huge pots work pretty well in the heat though, but now im growing many small plants.

id say my plants look a bit ugly and thats why im not posting too much pics :D

VT - now we got it even hotter!!

peace all!

I got a temp problem as well, and i solved it - so far...- with 2 hand towels and a reservoir with water in, i put all the gear in front of a fan in order to spread the moist and to cool the air inside the growroom. I put the 2 towels inside the reservoir but both coming out as much as possible and as wide open as possible, i put them together with a few clamps (sorry about my english but i don't know some words)... and secure them (towels) in front of the fan, near the plant pots. the humidity now is always over 30% (flowering) and the temps that used to reach 40ºC are now always around 30ºC.
To me worked well. Cheap and efficient.
Sorry to crash into your thread like this, but i thought it could be helpfull to anyone reading it.

Great pics man. I recon you got the greenish finger on you, so i'm pretty sure it will all be awesome in the end.

Keep it good, keep it safe m8.

EDIT: Sorry i forgot to tell my humidity was often null and i have my home made humidifier. That really works the thing is in here it's really hot. 34º to 38ºC and we're just entering the summer...

i decided to clean my nargileh (hookah) and make something enjoyable out of this too hot and very boring sunday..

a fresh alu-foil for screen..

a bit of sweet melon flavour molasses...

a bit of mint molasses to cool it a bit...

i mix the two mollasses's and take out a piece of moroc hash

grind a chunk of hash..

i decide i need some kif too.. so i take out some trim and my screen..

i mix the kif with the molasses and hash..

cover it with a piece of foil...

time for the carbon..

Here I come to save the day... lol.

wasssuuup bc? Got the answer to your temp probs, man. Standard atmospheric lapse rate is considered to be right at 2 degrees C per 1000 feet increase in altitude. With me so far???? hehe.

Plan "A":
Call one of those companies that can raise your foundation to fix a crack in it and get them to lift your grow area area by 3000 feet and... POOOF! No more problemo, lol.

Plan "B":
Move to a cooler climate...

Sorry dude if it's not a joking matter, just trying to cheer ya up. Plan "B" might still be a viable option though... I'd put ya up here till ya got your feet on the ground - long as you share your stash with me... lmfao.

Be safe amigo intimo,

Peace bro
