I let the branches just start to pop, cut it off, and put it into a short glass or beer bottle. Tilted over a half-sheet tray. Once the branch has dropped its pollen over a couple days (couple shakes a day). I'll shake the flower/plant pieces to the side and use a razor to scrap the pollen together, let it dry a day. Than into a jar or vial.

Seaf0ur has some cool pollination chambers going, but that's so he can pollenate stuff that is also in the flower room.

Hatch you rock!!! I see the way and that looks to be the easiest method. I will be collecting over the next few days!!

Soo happy here!!! I can not wait to spread pollen on my Diesel and Dr. Grinspoon

I wait for flowers to open and I use a spoon and bump it up into the flowers and colect it like this. Lots of tjmes took it from where the dudes were and pollenated, or put the pollen in bags or vials but try to use it right away. It goes a long long way, cut it 100:1 flour to pollen and voila you got way more. Lol I know theres better ways but thats just my choice to collect pollen. I learned about that cutting pollen thing with flour last year watched a breeders panel Lawrence ringo mentioned it.

If you want to open pollenate blow the shit around with a fan forget shaking them thats for goofballs. Pollens harsh as fuck to breath in.

Jefe make sure you keep at least 2 girls to make fem seeds with the pair, and if you take a extra cut of the female you are reversing, make s1 seeds. It would be interesting to see proformance between the two I bet the s1s would suck (but it would be very interesting to see what happens)

This js a really fucking smart idea. More efficient than my spoon method...

I use the really fine baking one but all perpose also works well.

I know a few of us are keen on getting some pollen. If you cut it you can get it to go a really long way. If you are using a paintbrush cutting it is the way to go or its a waste.

Oh man I was thinking jefe, I know greenhouses chemdog is a extremly high yielder, as well as fast (9 weeks) might be worth making a hybrid between the urks and that.

Thanks man. Yeah lawrence ringo mentioned it during the 2013 emerald cup breeders panel (its on youtube it also includes subcool and mz jill of tga and dj short, im a big dj fan I own his book and have grown all his offerings available today. I particularly love flo) it was veey infomative.

You guys dont forget we have access to oodles of breeders here. I find charles scott (reeferman) to be extremly helpful and kind enough to answer how he dries and cures seeds, much different than I do it and made me rethink how ill do it again ill rattle the seeds out of buds in my hash shaker box so I can collect trichromes and make it easy to obtain the seeds.... I used to pick the seeds out manually, it makes more sense to dry out the plant and do it a little different.

Anyway I would use pure pollen with a paintbrush take a second and add some four guys!

Well things are moving along very slowly. The females sure do take their time. Kind of glad that the outdoor is going at the same time.

I think I will cover one of my AC/DC'S with Urkle pollen tomorrow night. I will collect and cut by weight @ 70:1 flour to pollen. I will wait a few days for the Diesel to get chunkier and then throw some on two branches of her!!

Oh and don't forget the Grinspoon!! She will get dusted too!

The Purple Kush from Dark Heart Nursery has been dusted by Urkle pollen and is budding nicely!

Ahh some sleep would be nice.

Burn one for me folks!!

Good evening!!

Pollen collection is going AWESOME!! My tiny evvelope is filling nicely!! Work is never done though. I need to cut the pollen and head to the outdoor grow and hit the girls out there with the good viable Urkle pollen. My Dark Heart Nursery Romulan Grapefruit is to far along to dust. But the Diesel and Grinspoon as well as the outdoor AC/DC .

Female Urkles are super slowly putzing along. Desperately slow flowers. Looks like #5 #6 #12 and #14 are the females!!

Pics of pollen to come!!

It is extemly concentrated. If you are using a paintbrush to pollenate go 50:1 or 100:1 its scarry how far it goes but its microscopic dust. You might as well cut it out as much as you can. A pinhead of pollen can pollenate several plants. A half teaspoon blown out in front of a fan (or into a grows intake) and the whole rooms seeded.

I hope you are keping a male for more pollen later, if you want to know a good way to pick males dj shorts book is super handy if you dont have it let me know, ill photograph the relevant material and send it to you via email buddy. Let me know.

Im interested in the acdc. It would be cool to reverse it to everything you got, and make s1s at the same time. S1s are weird but interesting to see acdc s1s.
