This being my first attempt at making seeds I feel successfull and ever gratefull to learn as much as I can. I see now how I could achieve a larger quantity of seeds for the future. But for now lets enjoy what we have. I kept two males. The most vigiorous ones. #11 and #15 are the tallest thickest almost most pungent and have the best root zones. And onle one lone female clone made the cut. #12. I feel next cloning round will have to be in rockwool and not the cloner. Some love it and some dont.

Future donors and pollen producers. These three were average in all ways. Yet they rooted best as clones and became super strong teens!! Of the two female clones #6 and #12, #6 had an unbelieveable small root zone. When trying to transplant #6 self aborted. #12 has been topped and is ready to rock!!

I choose vigourous males but most are, the big thing to watch for is their flower speed, density of flowers (yeah loose daddy balls mean loose buds from progeny) I dont like the really fast males or males that auto. Slowest neither I go for the ones in the middle. I learned alot from dj shorts book and a few clips featuring him yaking about breed techniques.

Yeah it takes a couple times making seeds to figure out the fine details. Make shre you let them dry well after harvest... dont breathe in pollen... males in a topsey turvey can allow you extra space for more female cuts, more crosses or single variety if thats what you are goin for... big plants with big buds makes more seeds. Ive learned a few things making seeds. Oh people say theres a difference between organically produced seeds and hydro grown plants seeds. Trust me theres no difference.

I learned something neat though in this thread the branch of male flower in the water. Lol its amazing those duded just want to get tje job done. Ive kept males alive In silly conditions so I shouldnt be surprised. I used to have a male harvest room in my place a closet with no air vents no flow. I just used the fucking roof light to keep them going, turned it on and off manually every day. Lol when I cut them down I shook them over a 2pac poster someone gave me I never put up. Scrapped that shit up with my buisness card. It worked. I tried paying my cousin 100 bucks to sniff a line of pollen but he said no. Thats ok that line made me a shitload of seeds I gifted to lots of people who were very happy with them.

There's some mountains in my neck of the woods where the elevation jumps up quickly.

People up there have a shorter season too since it gets cold earlier.

By the looks and the seed stacking I was imagining 3 more weeks at most till harvest. Just waiting for the seeds to mature and the trics to come out and give her some more of the sweet candy flavors I currently am getting!!​

Sorry to interrupt the party but these look nothing like Urkle and the fact that you cant even verify what they are other than some seeds your father in law, who is deep in the woods, told you they were that smacks of BS. Again, not trying to rain on the party but I see a lot of calling something Urkle and you in fact have no idea what it is. Then to make seeds and call them Urkle F2s, IBLs, and Urkle crosses is even more screwy. Call them anything you want but to call them Urkle makes no sense. Even in your guessing of the lineage is just that. True breeding does not leave anything to chance especially the lineage of the plants. Not trying to be a dick but this whole thread is just conjecture and guessing.

rainman.. so could you show us what urkle is meant to look like? and who verified that it was genuine? so where does one turn to get things verified? would you have to get things DNA tested to get it verified?

who verifies all other strains? some shop selling those "named" beans? some shop selling those "named" cuts? im a little lost as to all this verification..

i get gifted heaps of beans from very very friendly people.. do you think i should chuck my awesome collection cause there not verified to be what they claim?

i would believe a fam member over any money hungry company any day.. for what reason does the person who gave them to him have to mislead him on what they are?

i get what your saying but think you'll need some pics and even grow reports on some urkle to prove what your saying is true.. so please provide this so people can make there own judgement on whether they think his urkle is the real deal or not..

You can check my old galleries for the comparison or any number of other threads on this site.. Reputabtable breeders with good reputations. Same for clones sourced from knowledgeable growers that can show you finished product for your own review. This is not rocket science its growing and breeding. If done right there is no reason to guess what you are growing is the real deal. Again it may be rope but to just assume without any obvious firsthand knowledge of the clone or its true origins is just fuckery and why there are 50 ogs, 20 cookies, and 1000 chems. In reality there arent and all the fakes got started just like this. So what you get gifted beans! Just like the original poster in this thread you dont know what it is until its grown out. But by all means keep callin it Urkle cause that makes it true. Just cause I call myself Tarzan when I slap my lady's ass dont make me Johnny Weismuller.

And moving forward.....

The Urkles are happy and #12 the remaining female clone is becoming a grand teen!! Topped her and waiting for branching so she can be cloned. This time going to do her in cubes rather than my cloner. Not the best of luck last time with this strain. By the time i have babies i will have seeds ready and waiting. Cheers to you all!!

How am I pissing on the gene pool when I am growing what I was told? My only speculations were to the lineage not the strain I have. Why would mine not be Purple Urkle? Just because of variation in phenotypes? In no way am I pissing in the gene pool any more than anyone else. Am I not to believe my father in law? Am I to believe those whom have no vested intrest in the matter other than opinion? I feel all are entitled to their opinion. Whom out there has facts on this matter? Haters gonna hate.... and others will speculate..... room on this mudball for all.
