I know nothing beyond the fact I got urkle starts and GDP starts back in 04ish' from les in ft Bragg. Dude was all about the urkle...not sure if he bred it but he definitely spread it around.

But the petioles are always a giveaway...imho

Sorry jefe I have to chickenfish your thread! Im really baked and need to share a laugh and I think this is one of the funniest things ive ever seen... thakfully someone was kind enough to share it on the net.

Ok on a serious note heres my hazes, this pics a week old but you get the idea. I figured id share it cause I have nothing else to do right now. maybe consider breeding some vigour into those urks. Thats a key trait for me Im not big on slow growers (or food pigs everything I grow is very nutrition efficient, I dont think of things as light feeding, just efficient) Sativas build so much structure with way less food. That always amazes me.

I do have some pics of the stuff im testing I have to post. Im testing reefermans big sir holy weed. So far I love how vigourous it vegges I bet she gets big! Cant wait to see whats up. Id think big sir would be cool to cross to the urks, not only because it would make a cool ass cross, but thats like cali history strains. Get sone og action in there and you would have some pretty wild killa cali! I bet big sir x og would be good...

I am loving the vigor of my Sour Diesel. I hope the cross of Urkle and Diesel works out. The vigor of sativas is increadible. I agree on the sativa love.

I love sativas so much I barely smoke indicas at all and if I do I always go for the 60/40 indica sativa, thats enough indica for me most times...

So I am begining to wonder when the ladies will show. We are on day 18 of flower and the Purple kush is flowering. Does the Urkle pack it on fast or what?

Well as for me I am hoping for pollen collection in the coming days. Lots of Urkle to spread!!

Urkle doesnt do anything fast.... not a good yielder either.... thats why most grew gdp... better yields..not a finicky . but what makes urkle special is the finished product. ... its always a bit better.. patience. ..

I had a qurckle or urkle cut from harborside oakland in 2012 and i remember i did a whole tray with her and also had grape ape and gdp at the time and i remember just taking out that urkle tray in week 6 i was so pissed,TORTOISE SLOW AND SENSITIVE .. the grape ape and gdp ran with all the same light ppm feed and no issues.

Thats interesting to know. I wonder if its been heavily inbred... though ive seen a few well bred ibls that didnt suck so maybe I wont acuse the urks of being ibl (not saying urkles suck I mean suck as far as those many aspects described)

I bet the marijuana flowers from that plant are excellent though. I have a haze x purple urkle I got from a visit to vancouver seed bank back in 2013, the bud off this stuff is so nice... I really should pop the remaining 6 seeds I have. Its amazing the killer freebies some of us get.

Urkle is NOT a retail smoke lol shity size and yields
She is a keeper of fine smoke to only share sometimes
With really good friends and then it's not every time

Best to do open pollination of females I think As
For collection I keep a male room and as each one
Gets really ready I separate him for a few days to get
Good and open and shake the shit out of him on to a big
Piece of construction paper then process it wait a day or
2 and repeat in new bag, sometimes I wait a week just
Depends on what's going on in life

I let the branches just start to pop, cut it off, and put it into a short glass or beer bottle. Tilted over a half-sheet tray. Once the branch has dropped its pollen over a couple days (couple shakes a day). I'll shake the flower/plant pieces to the side and use a razor to scrap the pollen together, let it dry a day. Than into a jar or vial.

Seaf0ur has some cool pollination chambers going, but that's so he can pollenate stuff that is also in the flower room.
