Hello All!!

I agree with Hatch!! Open pollination is akin to nature. With all the material flying in the air all traits can be captured. Then move on to phenotype selection from f2's.

As for the clones.......

Lost #5
They are slow to respond to containers in this baby stage.

More pics to come!!

Thank you all for the responses and information.

Beauty of keeping clones is you can do selections with them later, do a big op with the originals...

You know I was thinking, maybe the urks would make a really nice cross to a widow. Ive grown mr nices black widow and greenhouses. Both are exceptional

Jeez I forgot to add on the last post I think it would be cool to cross a og to the urks. I think that would be a really cool plant outdoors, ive seen pics of og outdoors. Yeah mold can be a risk but if you are careful that would be a awesome upright plant.

HillBilly,

The MB x PU is a dense nug!!! A lb. looks like a half a lb. Light tinges of purple and a yellow pollen all over. Comes out almost like Deep Chunk from back in the day!!!

Going to cross a Dark Heart Nursery female Purple Kush and cross it with the Purple Urkle. Gonna be awesome!!!

Ok.... a lot of info comming your way!!

After cloning and starting flowering of the Urkles here is the break down of the teens by the numbers...

#1-medium sized teen ( 10"-14"), strong clone, slow cloner (sprouts
roots in 12+ days) split stem from start, possible male
#2- lost
#3- large sized teen (15"-20"), super tight node spacing, ok clone, slow cloner,
possible female
#4- runt ( under 10"), tight node spacing, too small to clone
#5- definate female. Large sized teen, fast cloner, lost clone
#6- medium sized teen, super slow cloner (14 days +), ok clone
#7- medium sized teen, split stem from start, possible male, healthy one, ok
cloner
#8- mid sized teen, ok clone, super slow cloner
#9- large sized teen, ok clone, super slow cloner
#10- runt, ok clone, slow cloner
#11- large teen, ok clone, slow cloner
#12- large teen, possible female, ok clone, slow cloner
#13- definate male, large teen, split stem from start, small clone, slow cloner
#14- large teen, possible male, split stem from start, ok clone, super slow cloner,
#15- large teen, possible male, split stem from start, ok clone, ok cloner

Allright,

Here is a Purple Urkle leaf profile

Here is Dark Heart Nursery's Purple Kush about to flower and be pollinated!!

The Purple Urkle has a very fat center to its leaves. Five fingered leaves began showing up when the streatch settled. Seven and nine fingers are everywhere too.

Here is also the AC/DC that will be pollinated with the Urkle too.

I woild be honored to see your stuff HillBilly1!!! Send me a message!

Clones

The group as a whole.

#15 is a monster clone!!

#11is the tallest clone.

I hope to be flush with seeds by october!!!

I am also taking pollen from the males to spread onto a branch of my Dr. Grinspoon and Sour Diesel. I may also cross my Romulan Grapefruit with em too!!

Advice on how to best spread pollen on these select babes?

for me jefe i take the male flowers with my fingers and sprinkle there magic man dust over the fresh female pistils.. and then just the be sure i like paint the pistils with the male flowers also.. time consuming.. but equals a heavy pollenation and makes sure its defently done..

then take male flowers dry them out put in a seive collect the dust on a flat surface scrape up with a plastic card and make a few seperate baggies so dust.. put with desiccant in a air tight jar and freeze for future use..

loving the thread as usual.. thanks for the number update.. glad #13 was male.. the mission is on its way in full force..

thanks guys.. take care..
