Nice to see your keeping most of the problems at bay. It's crazy how some plots are infected and others are not. Can't wait to see those branches bending with some weight.
Cheers GG

Lay down some construction sand. Can't guarantee it will solve your snail problem, but it's one of my defense measures to protect my seedlings from slugs and I haven't had any issues since I started using it.

i just got back from plot 1 and 2 and the copper tape is working. there is no more snail damage on the biddy or dela. so far so good we shall see how it plays out.

Might have to take a week or two off. Broke my fucking toe just now. Got it taped up to the one next to it and some ice on, but it hurts a bit lol, idk how I feel about hauling 5 gallons of water for a mile right now.

I'm not holding the strains accountable necessarily; EVERYTHING in the area around plot 1 has the disease.

Yeah it's not one of the bigger toes, so I'm hoping it won't slow me down too much. Fortunately, this is my first off day and I'm not planning on visiting my plants for another 3 days or so, so we'll see.

Thats the way it is at my plots, seeing similar symptoms on the jewel weed.

Sorry to hear about your toe! That is important. Rest and heal it up, you'll need it for harvest! :smoke:

I need it now, those girls need water and nutrients. Realistically, It's not an option to take more than 2 weeks off at the absolute max, and that's really pushing it. As of right now, I'm hoping to be back this week.

A few hours after and I'm walking fine, just with some pain. That should subside relatively soon. I'm worried more about the weight of my pack and the rough terrain.

Sorry to hear about the toe. The plants are large enough that they can look after themselves for awhile. Planted in the ground they should be fine. Wish you a speedy recovery.
Cheers GG

Decided to head out to plot 2 this morning real early. My toe is feelin' a little better and in my snake boots I hardly even notice. Today I switched over to all flowering nutes (instead of half veg half flower) and insect frass.

The Spontanicas are looking great! For the most part, anyway. One plant is showing some mildly disturbed leaves:

Looks like a little bit of nute burn to me, but I'm fine with that to be quite honest. It's the time of year I'd rather have them slightly overfed than needing nutes.

Here are two pics of the plant those leaves are on:

Here are the two other Spontanicas:

This is the big one that got knocked over onto the ground by something a few weeks ago. She's about 6'6"

Here is the shorter, fatter one. She's about 5'6".

Here is the double planted hole (Special Queen #1 and a freebie) first from the "back" and then from the "front" where you can see the third cola from the one plant being topped very early on.

And here is a family photo of all four plants shortly after dawn. They're not really in the sun quite this early in the morning, so they're a bit hard to see:

they are looking good! so far which do u like the best the spotnica or special queen #1? i would have never thought about growing specialQ #1 bc i cant find no reviews on it and it dont say anything about it being mold resistant on their website. im just thinking about the possibilities of my strain list for 2016, so far i know for a fact im growing Delahaze, jacky, church, bangi haze, biddy and cheese candy which i will buy packs of. then i will just get a few random seeds for my dad to grow from heribies pic n mix like kc33,swiss cheese, special queen#1,Ace Malawi & either spotnica or freencheese or both lol the freencheese sounds like a good strain from description and they are cheap as well,$17.61 for 3 fems! here is the description which could be a potential for u as well.

Frencheese is a cross between Super Skunk and Master Kush that has been recognized for its effectiveness against stress and its euphoric effect. A variety selected for its high resistance to heavy rain and mildew and other diseases caused by too much moisture. Frencheese is a mostly Indica variety with fast flowering properties and has an unforgettable taste of French cheese, so intense that it is not appreciated by all palates! It is recommended to use an air filtration system, installed before growing this variety.

I'll let you know at the end of the season. They're pretty close; both resistant to disease, and both grow pretty big.

Next year I am not taking any chances strainwise. If I haven't grown it before, it's not going in (except for Royal Queen Seeds and KC Brains genetics). I might make an exception for a proven guerrilla strain such as Biddy Early or Pineapple Chunk, but probably not. I can't afford to have a strain not work out for me next year; fuck that shit.

As of right now, next year I'm running:
Special Queen #1 (Royal Queen Seeds)
Special Kush #1 (Royal Queen Seeds)
Mango (KC Brains)
Spontanica (KC Brains)
Ancient OG (Bodhi) (if it finishes fast enough for other people on here)
Biddy Early or some other super early strain... (maybe even Green Poison Fast Version if I can hold off the blight, but that will require nothing short of a full-scare anti-fungal war.)

I want to have a staggered harvest beginning 2nd week of September and extending through to the second week of October (with Ancient OG finishing up last). 1madtrapper is growing Ancient OG right now at fucking 49N!!!

ya defo the biddy bro its potent good yield and i have had zero issues out of them. im looking forward to seeing how both the spotnica and special queen turns out though. i know for sure im doing one of them bc i been following ur thread daily and see what u say about it after season:tiphat: i hear ya man only thing new im growing next year will be the Bangi haze & cheese candy!team microbe is the one that told me to try cheese candy..he said its very disease resistant, super potent and monster yields with the skunk funk smell that i crave..the only reason i have never tried bangi haze is bc it was in regular form,to much work for a guerilla to fkk with regualr seeds unless u want to breed or acclimatize a certain strain which i dont want to do...dad dont care what he grows lol i use him as a strain tester. he just wants strains that produce very good and potent. he makes me do all the leg work on finding out how to take care of any disease LOL

You've got some great looking bushes there , they should give you a nice harvest at the end of the season :)

Thanks! Hopefully that is the case.

Ky, the only regs I'm willing to run are Ancient OG. Shcrews had his tested last year at 27% THC. I'm going to triple plant holes (nicely spaced though, and bigger holes than usual) and later pull the males.

Either that or 1 plant per hole and keep some indoor girls vegging to go out as replacements for males.

Went to plot 1 today fellas, no bueno.

Whatever is wrong with the plants is getting worse (at least since I was there over a week ago). I can't afford to fuck with Greencure anymore, so I ordered more sns244c from Sierra Science. Also got their pesticide as well, because I'm beginning to suspect that the plants are suffering from fungus gnats. Maybe, or maybe it's something in the roots... I don't think it's termites/ants because the soil isn't soft enough for them to get around. FUCK...

At least the girls are progressing through flowering, so that's good

Anyway, here are some pics (all taken before pruning off leaves)

how much water is the one with the yellow leaves getting bro? i had one that was like a few weeks ago bc it was not getting enuff water. as soon as i started giving it 2 gallons at time it perked right back up. its been hot as fkk here lately. i know u been feeding more so i know its not a nitrogen issue. im certain it needs water bc that looked identical to mine did,the droppy leaves and yellow at bottom is heat stressed and needs water imo

Not for sure what that is! Could be disease, but the yellowing/browning along the margins makes me think it could be nutrient burn. Plants are looking amazing other than that. Beautiful spots. Glad the toe feels better! You're a trooper, man! Keep up the good work! :smoke:
