4 buckets in a 6x6 tent.... obviously I flipped way too late. It was so overgrown I had to crawl in when it was cut time.
It works. The grower and genetics are the limiting factor not the system.
Glad to see your thread, thought you left us.
The plants I posted were vegged 6 weeks Fever. Here is a picture of that 6 weeks veg again.

And here are a couple 2 weeks later. 8 weeks total time in system. I don't believe I personally would have plants this size during the same duration in coco. These are the largest plants I've done in this room with the least effort/input.

.....Let`s see where they end up in 2 MORE weeks by end of stretch D9.....and they are not done yet! for new folks those plant containers are 22" across.
this is what happens when a skilled grower gets his hands on a ppk!
plant support?
i really like the shape of those plants. i don't care what DHF says!

Some PPK pics for the masses. More to come soon.
What the hell, let's keep things going. Here's a couple more shots from this winter's crop.
This one is a Blackberry in 7th week of flower. Just another little bonsai but a nice producer:

You take really artistic pictures. I love them.
Thanks for noticing GrowTeam!
Fortunately for me, I'm a photographer for a living so I have the right lenses and equipment for the job. I've been a photographer for over 40 years and frankly, I don't get too impressed with my own work anymore.
Thanks for the nice comment.
Hey cool mini PPK grow! I've never flowered with cfl. your results look better than I'd expect!
waaaaaaay back I bought a 250w lumatek digi ballast and both hps and mh bulbs. You can still get them, both the bulbs and ballast are widely available.
If you ever try it you will find the mh bulb is significantly hotter than your current setup but.... the 250 w hps bulb is not that much hotter than your current 4-bulb cfl setup (I've used cfl for rooting and early veg stuff plus bonsai moms).
the difference in results will be significant.
I appreciate the input. I've been tempted a couple times to give the hps a shot but I really like the results I've been able to achieve with the cfl's. Since I keep my plants so small I feel like even a small 250w hps would be overkill. I also like being able to mix color temps to fill out the spectrum a bit better.
One of these days I'll have enough time and space to really kick it up with more powerful lighting.
