this is actually a great idea Pirate... they love loose soil, along with the drainage. if you aren't mixing in a decent amount of perlite or vermaculite (20-45%) try it out. with the amount of nute def that seems to be going on in some of your plants, i think your roots are having a problem effectively using the nutes they're being given. check the PPM and PH of your runoff, see if it is where it should be for what you've got set up.

i apologize if someone already suggested it, but i would think overwatering right away. i was told when i had a similar problem that any apparent nute def, you should first take steps to make sure your root system is healthy before dumping more nutes in that won't be used anyway if there is a root problem. if not overwatering now, maybe a touch of root rot left over from a previous time... the hydro store has enzymes that eat the dead roots and turn it into food for the live ones, setting them free so to speak. i'm sure you could find it online if any of that sounds like it might be true.

OG's, what do you think? :spank:

anyway you are still kicking some ass brother! grow on

every 3-4 days could still be overwatering if your root system is small and the pots are big. but if you tip the pot before watering and it feels light, almost like there is only new soil in it, you are good.

i don't know brother, that's all i had! good luck though, you'll get it figured out and they'll pull through. :rasta:

I did a little pruning of a couple lower baby budsites, i didnt take alot cause i didnt wana cause stress to my girls and i didnt take any large budsites that the plant spent alot of time developing. so is this wise? ive heard that if you get rid of those popcorn budsites then the top budsites will be bigger. what yall think? if so then im gona prune again a little here and there in the future of a few other very low small budsites.

Yeah that is the theory, that you remove those lower budsites, allows plant to concentrate on what is left.
I have a hard time deciding which budsites to remove, especially later into flower once the pistils and calyxs start to form, but it is something you get with practice

My girls were watered today with flower nutes for the first time. In 1 gal. i added 2tbsp. of budswell flower forumula dry tea, 15ml PBP bloom soil formula, 3ml cal-mag. Sound good? I fed light for safety, maybe in a week or so i will up my budswell to 3tbsp and eventually 30ml of PBP bloom. I know i need liquid karma but im broke. Check back in a few days for pic updates.
