Still no pollen flying yet, but we're close. It will be any day now the smaller male will drop and the champion House indica male is right behind it. We're gonna have seed for next year! Females are still small except one plant stunted in the shade, its a little further along, but its ok. I'm looking at the overall. Once the big girls get top flowers 3/8 inch wide its time for the males to go.

I pulled a jar from the bucket this evening and I saw a couple jars from last year fully pollinated and harvested Sept 9th. A bunch of immature seeds and very little thc. Talk about a screw up! So lets not make that mistake again, haha!

Had a little chipmunk or something digging again. He's getting curious now, still not real damaging, but it needs to stop! Applied repellent, and scratched down the big dog for scent. May get another bar of soap along with more repellent. Could get another fire going! I just don't like sending out smoke signals from the garden! Has to be dry to catch fire and have little smoke.

Tallest plant is nearing 7 ft! The Sativa candy spice in front are over 6 ft now! How about a couple views from the garden? Enjoy!

Thank you God! :smoke:

Champion House Indica male. Need him start dropping pollen! I think he will be on time. Go medicinal hemp, Go! :smoke:

Its interesting how different the flower structure is on this plant. I have half a mind to cull the 2nd male. I wish bub was here. I'll see if He's been active, maybe he can swing in for some breeding advice!

Thanks for the kind Karma my friends! I went out to the plot this evening even though it was late. Seeing some storms rolling in, and wanted to check on the animal digging and spread more repellents. Not sure if there was more fresh digging, but there are a couple holes. I really didn't have much repellent on last trip, so this time I brought the big guns. Got a small bag of cat/dog hair and a bar of oil of olay soap that has strong fragrance.

Saw the males, they're progressing well, but still no pollen dropped. The champion house indica male has stood himself up is growing in good light where he ought to be. I had to lean him out to bring in sun for the girls to fill in well. Now that its pollen drop I'm letting him stay standing in the sun. The champion is right on schedule actually and has a golf ball sized flower at the top. I think its in the same stage as the other one, its just really compact growth.

I thought about culling the other house indica male, but I decided to keep it to preserve the diversity of the line. Its not a bad male, its just in the shade a little which makes it grow more lanky with long internodes. Genetics has something to do with it too, but his leaves look wide, he's branchy enough, he's a keeper.

I have been blessed in more than one way today, and it all started with a prayer before my feet hit the floor. Said another prayer and read a couple chapters in Psalm and half a chapter in Romans. I was on the phone with a nice lady from my church and she just prayed for me, asking God to bless me and my business, and I can tell you the prayer was heard! I have been needing help bad, and not just 1 but 4 people contacted me looking for work today! I also had cool customer whose irrigation system backflow preventer pipe I broke say he fixed it and I didn't owe him anything! Its getting ready to rain, a front is just blowing in! We may have another inch of needed rain over the next day or so! I can't name them all, lots of things, small and big, but I just know God hears our prayers! He blesses us because of our faith! Put you whole trust in God. I am making a conscious effort to be obedient to Gods call for me today. I am here to testify, our God is so good! He's our counselor and helper, and I am blessed! The Father of all creation is worthy to be praised. Spread the good news guys! The Gospel, yes sir!

One life, one truth. one way. We are the light of the world. God wants us to work for Him! Love one another, forgive and move on. Nobody is perfectly good. Only God is good! Give your life to the work God has for you. Look for ways to serve others in their time of need. Help to build others up with love. Amazing guys, find that rest! Thank you Jesus!

God loves us! Its crystal clear now! We have been blessed! Over the last 24 hours we got about 1.8 inches of rain! Went to check on the plot this evening to spread some pet hair and see how the garden weathered the storms. The champion male was leaning on some of the back plants and had to be stood up with a little soil at the base so I was glad I came. The little chipmunk was back and had re-dug his hole, and there was another little spot scratched up.

Today is the day! The smaller male dropped pollen today! The champion male is close behind and will be dropping pollen any day. As soon as he releases pollen, its time to get them out. I'll shake the males over the garden and I'll wedge male flowers in the top leaves of the female plants so they can drop a little more pollen over the next day or so.

Size of the female flowers varies, but some of the tops are getting big at about 3/8 inch, so its about time! I think we're going to make it! Go hemp! I'll have to get some pictures soon! Got to get to bed. I had to retype because I fell asleep and bumped a button or something again. Thanks for checking in. Have a good one guys! I'll get some shots again in the next couple days!:smoke:

Got another small batch of rain today after getting some good sun! It was a pretty heavy rain so I decided to check the plot. Need to keep an eye on the pollination too. Plants were all standing today!

The champion male was dropping pollen today! Its working out great because some of the females are getting bigger and its about time to get the males out of there. Hopefully more sacks open tomorrow. I'm thinking tomorrow will the last day for the males. The pollen sacks will open if i tuck the flowers in the fan leaves of the females. Its a fine line, we do not want fully pollinated plants again! So tomorrows the last day. Just need a little dry weather and maybe a breeze. It was so humid today. I like to be able to see a little pollen in the air when the males get shaken over the garden. Dry days are best.

Thank you for another beautiful day God! Help us to be obedient to Your call! Help us remember we are Yours. I pray that you bless this family of growers here. Bless whatever we put our hand to. Let our life be a shining example of Your love and grace so that people will see You magnified in us. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Thanks Jonnifly! I saw another yellow leaf today. I've only seen 2 or 3 at this point in the last few days. I think I'll work the soil and fertilize again whenever it dries out a bit even though it hasn't been a month. I think thats why I used to feed every 2 weeks. I want to keep them moving. I don't mind seeing yellow leaves later in flower, its normal, but right now, I try to keep them fed as well as possible so they can keep growing! Fun to watch isn't it? :smoke:

I fell asleep again eating late. Did you notice? Got to finish my oatmeal and yogurt with hemp powder and peanut butter. Time for bed! Busy tomorrow and I have to stop out at the garden again! Love life! :smoke:

Pulled the males yesterday Aug. 11. It was time. I may have a bit more seed than I wanted on some of the plants, but I was waiting on the champion house indica plant to drop more pollen. I think we're within the threshold. Some female flowers aren't very developed and they needed time to mature. I was sure to shake them over the garden a few times before they got scrapped.

It was dark and I had to see by twilight and zippo lighter, so no pics except for the sunset and some cool mushrooms. Will post them on the next update.

I decided not to feed again until I get some more repellent. Little critter re-dug the hole. There is some heavy rain coming later this week so I'd like to get it applied before then. Gonna load it up! :smoke:

I'm so thankful for this rain! Its just beautiful here right now with the mushooms and everything green. Trust in God! :smoke:

Had a chance to see the plot in the light this evening, and I was glad I did. Seeing some foliar disease activity, and I needed to be there to remove diseased leaves! Diseases can progress fast this time of year. I had some funny wilting leaves on a small plant getting a lot of shade. All normal stuff, just have to promptly remove them before it spreads. I'll have to keep an eye on them!

Got some great pics, I still have to sort through them, this one will do for now. Fell asleep eating again. Enjoy! :smoke:

Progressing in flower production! Pretty good for Aug 13 I think!

Thanks cakeboy! I appriciate you stopping in! I'll get some more shots uploaded soon. Plants are ready for their next feeding soon. We have an inch of rain on the way over the next couple days, so I'm going to get them fed and spread repellent! Harvest time is fast approaching! :smoke:

Went out to the garden to check for diseased leaves and fertilize this evening. I didn't have repellent, and I didn't have a flashlight, so I made a little campfire in the trench! :smoke:

The dogs were there so their scent was spread around. The little campfire will repel animals. I had it burning for a while. It will work, I have repellent on order, so I'll use it soon. Found a couple diseased leaves on the same plant. This plant is in the shade the longest. Its a small plant on the west side. I will have to keep an eye on it. I think it will be ok. It lost a few leaves though.

Worked the soil up with a hand trowel shovel and my fingers to check for hard spots. I used about 10-15 lbs of Garden tone, so they got a good heavy feeding. Being a low phosphorous fertilizer 3-4-4, it was good I applied it heavier so they get the phosphorous they need. There was a good boost of phosphorous in the Happy frog I used the other day too. Mixed the soil up with the fingers and piled it around the stems to hold them up. Was sure to move as much soil up by the plants as possible to form a long mound. Gives better drainage and gets more fertilizer to the root zone! Its a beautiful thing. They're all set. Next feeding targeted for September 7. An inch or so of needed rain is on the way!:smoke:

Beautiful light to moderate rain showers today! I am so thankful! Got about a half inch of rain with another inch possible! Perfect timing! So glad I went out to feed them. I prayed at the garden again asking the Lord to bless the garden. I am asking for protection for the garden. Asking God to use the medicine to heal us and make us better servents for His purposes, His will. And I told the Lord the garden is His. Everything I have is from God! I didn't earn this life! It was a gift from the Father! Thank you God!

Romans 14:8-13 " For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore if we live or die, we are the Lord's. For the this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ! For as it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.

Got some pics from the 13th, a couple days after the males were pulled Aug. 11. Been amazing to watch all the fungus popping up around here. The moisture has really woken everything up! Flowers are building fast! Looks like a good crop this year! How about a few views? Enjoy!
