Did a plant inspection this evening. No major issues. Not many caterpillars damage as far as I can see so far. Keeping an eye out. Saw a few cut leaves, so need to get out there in good daylight so I can inspect a little better. Resin is getting pretty developed, smelled all the plants to get an idea of the phenotypes out there. Going to be a great mix. Lots of greasy indicas, some sweet pine, some sweet fruity grease combinations, and a couple overripe juicy fruit types.

This one plant in particularhad a really strong sharp smell along the lines of grease which I have seen in the past, but its very pronounced, and very dank and potent.

Can't wait until harvest! Great inbred line! God is good, He has made the heavens and the earth by His wisdom, He made the cannabis plant, which grows from the earth but reveals the glory of the heavens! Thank you God!

Thanks! Just got done watering again. Watered at day 6 the past couple weeks. The flowers are bulking up well, and are getting ripe. Some are farther along than others, but they are all on the early side.

Going to get a couple days of rain early next week, so will have to start spending time inspecting for mold. Been easy going so far!

It's been a great growing season so far here for me as well.. some thrips and whiteflys earlier this year, but nothing bad and easy to treat....
Been pest free since..
A couple of my plants have a week to go and I'm getting excited.. I have like four plants(ive never grown before)that probably won't finish..

Thinking mold issues may begin to surface after this week with rain chances. I usually try to wait until early to mid october and cut them all at once. I try not to cut the tops unless necessary because of mold. I cut out the damaged spots as much as possible to allow them to ripen as late as possible.

Had a nice rain this evening! Maybe a tenth or a quarter inch I think. Scraped the leaves off the garden just in time. Plants will be full of water and producing well this week! Hope to see some sun! :smoke:

Yeah I have been slacking on staking. Time to get serious. Had a plant break in the rain yesterday evening, and a smaller plant broke because it had another plant leaning on it and thought it could support it since it had a stake. So 2 more plants harvested, and they are actually ripe because of the heat! Going to wait as long as possible for the rest of the crop to get more flavor, potency, and yield. Want the seeds to ripen up.

Have a few new shots to share. :smoke:

Its been the shady side that has the weak plants that tend to snap. Most of them on the sunny side are standing on their own and a few of the plants is able to lean on the fence, so it ends up not being too big of a deal. Still good canopy coverage, and airflow will be better.

Harvesting early means its easier to pull off trimming everything to hang in one day on harvest day, so it works out if you thin them out a little by early harvest of weak plants.

Hope they make it through the rain sunday and monday. They backed off the rain forecast, so it may not be too long of a rain, but looks like chances for a couple days, so mold could be a threat. These plants have been acclimated a little bit to have mold resistance I think because of seed selection. They are loose structure compared to other strains.

The nitrogen is pretty high right now, over fed a couple plants a bit seeing slight symptoms on a couple leaves, but the extra N helps keep them from losing leaves. They are using it up quickly, plus when it gets dry they get hungry.

Yeah the fall droughts have been a dream. It takes a lot longer to inspect the crop at harvest if mold has been a threat.

Looking for a dry window to harvest them after the rain, Early October. Will be drying outdoors again under hunting blind tarps! Have to have some decent warm weather and it takes about 10-14 days to let them dry down all the way outdoors in the woods.
