Looking good so far...that Phototron is gettin her done...hot or not..it's makin buds...Right on Harry...looks like Phil has got that thing producing as well..

Thanks packn but my bud growth has stalled. My bud leaves are showin' nute lock out. My ph has gone bellow 6.5. Gonna try some hydrated lime. Damn, I'm lookin' at a very small harvest at 27 days flowering! It is what it is! Peace.

Here is my plant at 28 days flowering. In the closeup shot you can see some changes in the leaves. I think that is because of my low PH (6.3). I decided to wait till I get a better PH meter before doing anything. For now, I just cut back on the nutes and I'm watering with just plain water. Peace.

Hey there hairybass, I would get a water test kit for ph. adjust your water to 6.0 . when you mix ferts adjust to 6.0. water drop test kits w/ph up and down are cheap. good luck and mabye try some topmax $20 small bottle goes along way

Thanks as always PFCruz. I'll look in to your suggestions. I'm holding off on any PH adjustments as they seem a bit risky. The buds seem to be doing better. Perhaps I was just over ferting them. One question, you mention a target of 6.0 PH. I was thinking 7.0 PH was a better target for soil? Wouldn't a soil PH of 7 be better? My water is 7.0 PH. I've never tested my water/fert mix but will next time. Thanks again PFCruz. Peace.

Update at 35 days flowering. Buds are still growing. The fans leaves are changing quickly. Does that look normal? At least at this point I know I'll get some bud! Might not be a lot but hopefully it's good smoke. Anyway, here are the pics. Fluorescents are used in the first pic and a flash in the second to show the trichome developement. Two to three weeks till harvest? We shall see.

you will see some yellowing of the older fan leaves...yes, its normal...

don't sell yourself short, the smoke you get off of her WILL BE TOP NOTCH!

I'll share my dried wieght, Growdoc. Because of the heat issues it will most likely be small but we shall see. That yellowing of the leaves is progressing quickly. I'll update in another week. Peace.

At 41 days of flowering my leaf problem is getting worse and spreading quickly. It's now effecting the buds. I'm going to cut her down at 42 days. I'm thinking that I have a fungus problem. This is based in part on how uneven the leaf problem seems to attack. Half a leaf can be dead while the other half is still relativily good. I'm sure the high temps which raise humidity and over fert played a part. Live and learn. Anyway, here is the latest pics before I cut her down. At least, I'll have some good smoke.

HB, nice looking plants, REALLY!!

that yellowing on the leaves is fine...think autumn and a large leafy tree outside...your plants are just going through their growth stages. chop if you want, but they will pack on more weight if you wait for the trichomes to start changing, from clear to cloudy to some turning amber...

if you do have mold, chop away...and peek inside the colas to see how much mold you do have...chop as much away as you can and throw it away...

if there's no mold, smile, because you WILL have some exceptional smoke!!!

If you really want to chop um then chop um...but I would also take other measures first Hairy..In flower you can get by with far less leaf coverage...do like Sleepy said and remove a larger bud and tear it apart, no rot let the rest keep going...you're just so close to full maturity I'd hate to see you take her when she has more to give..

Well, I killed her. There was a lot of spotting on the leaves that hadn't really shown problems. The buds were imature of course. This would have been something if I had a green thumb! Anyway, I'm high as a kite! Did a quick dry of some popcorn buds. Good shit.

Wow..you got more than I thought from her...
Well cool Hairy the Phototron made you some buds...not bad for a free P-tron, a good deal even at twice the price..
Gives you a good experience run with the PT...I think a corkscrew LST would be perfect for it..now time to get baked and think of something new to plop in..

PS..just curious..were the roots root-bound(look like they had nowhere else to go)?

Thanks Packn. The buds aren't dense. Might have been the heat. I think it might have helped with keeping the mold out though. I'll post the wieght when dried. Anyway, yes it was root bound. The soil is completely chucked full of roots. Peace.
