if dimmability is the only advantage of the dimlux price wouldnt be worth it, but if it has a magical spectrum that makes rainbows over grows well then :woohoo::thank you:

hi guys, one quick question.i would like to get method 7 sunglasses but there are three versions mh,hps and led, does anyone has any experience which ones would be suitable for 942s?thank you, all good to everyone.

I've got an older pair of method 7's. They only had one kind when I bought them. I only use the 7's with the 930's in my main area, which are still a little orange to my eye. For my 942 I just wear my reading glasses or safety glasses, both of which have auto-dark lenses. IMO, with the 942's you just need a little "shade", but no compensation for the spectrum. There's a dramatic, visible difference(with/without 7's) with the 930's, with the 942, not so much. Hope that helps.

I have a question. Has anyone confirmed a yield of 16 oz or 16 oz + per 315w lamp? That is what sparked my interest in this lamp about a year back, someone I respect said a pound of finished per 4X4 was possible with a 315.

3+ Grams a Watt?

Not even Monsanto can pull those numbers...

Watch timmur grow of 16 Green beams. Will give a good idea what this tech can do. I'm watching this very closely. If the yield is better vs de 1k this is the tech I will swap the flower room to.Maybe not greenbeams but CMH for sure.

OGK look up scrappydo he has been running this tech for awhile. I see no issues hitting 1.4gpw.

I'm with you. OTOH, I harvested 605g of dried bud under twin 315's & I'm a lazy grower. There was also a qp or so of popcorn & close trim. Blumats in organic soil, 5 week veg from seed, 11 weeks of 12/12 to harvest, minimal trimming away of lower branches. That's .96 gpw, a metric I really don't like.

Other grow styles & strains might do considerably better.

Meh. I fell for your math mistake, too, so mea culpa. 1.4 gpw might be doable under 315's.

+1 for keto krunch.. stick with it. youre in for a treat

ocean. I am sure its doable. I can be consistent at .75 in a 3*3 with 1 or 2 plant under 315

In a shitty room 6 plant in a 4*4 under 2 315's I was over 1 and i hashed 1

also, I'd like to add im a b level grower at best

Has anyone done any spectral analysis on the CMH lamps under dimmable conditions?

If I could I would love to use a Dimlux 630w at 50% wattage for veg, with 4200K lamps and then switch to 3100k lamps and turn up the dial to 120%...

Kinda crazy yields, I'd expect.

Sorry,

I'd actually just stick to the Agro lamp and not have to switch between the 3100K and 4200K one's.

Dim it to 50% for veg, save electricity, then boost to max 760 Watt output for flowering.

I'd be inclined to try out the Nanolux MaxPar CMH 315W Ceramic Metal Halide Lamp - 3100ºK, for an all in one solution also; but, think the Philips Agro/Greenpower are a safer and longer lasting bet.

I found the answer here:

Really crude results; but, at 50% power output the blueshift doesn't go down that much. I'd love to see better results.
