So I let this thread rest for a while, but the Peruvian experience is far from over.

I grew out these babes, but the classic pure Sativa problems you encounter in a size-restrained growroom op got the best of me. Once you bushed them they were manageable, but they still grew way over my head and forced me to re-think the grow space. Add to that a high degree of hermaphroditism (out of 20 plants I only got one female free from hermies that I thought was worth working with) and a high that packed a punch, but was less impressive than it was in Peru at 3000m altitude. I decided to stop growing these beautiful babes. It's an outdoor strain, adapted to high altitude and equatorial seasons, and that's where it should be grown.

As much as I would like to, an Ayahuasca session is an undescribeable experience.
If you're an atheist or an agnostic, an Ayahuasca ceremony is the moment to confront your beliefs and perhaps reevaluate your conception of the Universe and existence. Slowly but surely, as you enter the realm of Mother Ayahuasca, presences and entities manifest themselves. The inert world around you becomes alive, animist if you like. Your senses evolve, you see, hear, smell and sense things you realize have always been there, undetectable to you until now. All the closed doors of your emotional interior now open, and you are forced to face YOUrself no matter how beautiful or ugly as an experience it can be.
A friend of mine, who works as a journalist and participated in his first Ayahuasca ceremony with a healthy dose of skepticism, has never been the same since. During the ceremony, he found himself face to face with his brother, who died in a car accident a few years before. They had a positive but to him jolting exchange. The thing was that his girlfriend, sitting next to him in the ceremony, also saw the brother...

No matter what belief system you subscribe to, Mother Ayahuasca will show you things, if you allow her to...

Another thing I did over there was to buy a hectar of land (a little more than two acres) in a beautiful valley not too far away from Machu Picchu, where I will build a house in a year or two, if all goes according to plan. I'm so happy about this thing because I found cheap land exactly where I wanted it, and my neighbor in the valley is a man who's something of a legend in the Peruvian Andes, an ayahuascero named Alonso del Rio, with whom I have shared the sacred wine and also peyote many times. As a bonus to our Spanish speaking members I'll link you to a video where he explains his relationship to shamanic plants :

So Bombadil, now you know one of my maestros, among others. He makes beautiful music too:

Thought I had chimed in on this tread way back but guess not. So rosy you still in Peru or what?

Anyway hope you are well

Ciao,
