I just realized that I've kinda got a SOG going on now.

That was just an accident. Lol
After cutting off those two branches, I bent the other colas down so I could lower the light more.

I figure that my relative humidity is somewhere around 55%.

I wonder what my temperature is? Lol,

How am I supposed to dial things in when my dials are all messed up. Lol

I thought I'd add another meter.

So, I figure, my relative humidity is somewhere between 45% and 60%.

That's Perfect!! Lol

I may not be in the right ballpark, but I'm in the right parking lot. Lol

She's 15 weeks old today so I decided to kill her with thirst and starvation.

I siphoned off the reservoir.

I'm just going to let her use up what's left.

Removing fan leaves can also help trigger senescence.

OK.
All the leaves are removed.
My fingers are stuck together. Lol

I took off a bunch of sugar leaves too, but I saved them.

She should cease and desist now. LOL

I needed a trim all those leaves off anyway so now she can start to cure while she's still on the branch.

I was going to chop her off but I figured I'd let her dry out the "soil" a bit first.

FWIW, most of those cheap analog meters are pretty bad when it comes to RH. I had the white one too. (For some reason that one was especially bad)

this shit.jpg

^ Those are decent quality affordable ones if you can find them.
You could buy 10 of those for the price of a single hygrometer in the west
They're pretty tight, most are within 5% of each other.

My experience with the electronic square/rect big style meters is OK, for some reason there's a bigger difference between their readings

Earlier you said your RH was 80%. Were you looking at the analog? They always over-report. If you walk into a room that is 65% and above you can definitely feel it. At 80% it starts to feel like a jungle. (Humidity outside here is 70-100% year round but outdoor RH is not necessarily a good indicator of indoor RH)

Bigger drybacks in late flower is one way way to avoid moisture problems (like bud rot), always a good idea :good:

Yeah, but my rectangular meter was $3.50 from the dollar store. Lol

I don't remember, but I was sweating my ass off and too cheap to turn on the AC.

I finally turned on the AC,
It cost me $30 extra in electricity last month.
Oh well, I was comfy.

Oh, it was very jungle-like.
Just like the Amazon rain forest. Lol

I don't quite know what a dryback is, but I'm drying out my plant.

I'm willing to take a bunch of potential loses in terpenes to avoid bud rot.
Especially after waiting for 15:weeks.

hehe :D

Its just a way of saying to keep the medium 'on the dry side' toward the end of the grow. In other words increase time between waterings. Another example, when my plants are into week 8 they stop drinkin much. If I then wet the entire point I'm setting things up for botrytis. Instead I'll do something like flood the bottom 2 inches for a while. (if water is necessary)

I decided to try to make some cannabutter.
Then I want to use it to make peanut butter fudge.

picture.php

I used trimmings and some crappy weed that was from my outdoor plant from last summer and I threw in my recent window plant as well.
Just over 2 ounces with a pound of butter and 5 cups of water.
Now to cook it on low for 5-6 hours.

It's been almost three days now and my closet plant still looks like it's growing.

Still lots of yellow hairs.

I've got two trays of peanut butter cannafudge.

It's got to harden in the fridge now for four hours.

I ate a heaping tablespoon just to try it.
It tasted kinda weird, it's like it had some strange spice like Rosemary or thyme in it, but more like a lawn clipping flavor. Lol

It wasn't really bad though.

I have no idea about dosing so I'll wait a good half hour before taking more.
I don't wanna overdose and freak out or anything. Lol

Yummy!

In the future, you might consider coconut oil instead of butter. It has a sweeter flavor, but you can use it as a butter replacement for pretty much anything. I find that the coconut oil rinses better than butter, and you get a better return, as it doesn't stick to the plant material quite as much.

I went with the butter because I thought it would make better fudge.

I might go with margarine next time because it will harden up in the fridge and separate from the water.

I put 5 cups of water in the slow cooker as well. It's supposed to help absorb color and taste, and it's supposed to help keep the mixture from getting too hot and wrecking the THC.

I'm going to try some more fudge now, starting from sober.
I was pretty stoned and wasted already when I tried it yesterday.
