More gratuitous bug pictures...

He's got a real toothy smile. Lol
(I'm assuming that it's a boy bug. I don't know how to tell them apart. Lol)

Shame about the outdoor plants, bud! I know the paranoia. I've only grown outdoor once and the plant was so damn stinky I ended up harvesting it like 3 weeks early because I could smell it from 2 blocks away! Didn't wanna risk someone climbing up my deck.

Window plant lost a lot of leaves! Are you adding any supplemental feeding?

CalMag and MaxiBloom...

5.8 PH.

I'll use a regular pot next time.
But I don't want her to get too big.

I'll use this...

Coco and perlite and 5.8 PH nutes.

My closet plant is very close to finished.

There are lots of white trichs and I saw some amber trichs as well, but it's really difficult to take a picture.

I intend to reuse this crate full of perlite and coco.
That's $25 worth of coco and perlite.

Is it important to get all the roots out?
Should I sift through everything?, or is a bit of "organic matter" OK?

enzymes.. they will break down roots.

for bottle cannazym > hygrozyme, doses are differnt both with take a few weeks of constant input to break down the roots.

for DIY, large cut oat meal, malted barley, sprouted popping corn. bubbled for 24hr plus

Looks about 60% cloudy, Clear to cloudy to amber, cloest plant right?

The next closet plant is going to have a fresh batch of coco and perlite.
I'm keeping the medium from the outdoor plant and my current closet plant in the shed, then maybe use it next year.

This isn't too expensive, I'll consider it.

Pond enzymes will do the trick for a lot less... give that a search on Amazon.

I tried that and it was about the same price but it treats up to 15,000 liters, so I Googled aquarium enzymes and found smaller amounts for about $5.

It says that it introduces beneficial bacteria that produce enzymes to break down sludge, waste, and algae.

I won't be needing anything until maybe next year but if it just ends up in my back yard, I won't bother treating it.

I don't think some root hairs are that big of a deal.

If I water to waste, anything bad should just get washed out.

I figure my anaerobic bacteria eat more than just milk, and I've already got some.

I try to eat some of the cheese every day.
My guts really are better.

If you're waiting a year, the will naturally compost on their own. Enzymes would be if you wanted to reuse them in a couple of weeks IME.

Okay.
It's in a tote with a lid and I will add the media from my closet grow when it's done.

The tote has a few vents to let air in.

I just noticed this...

In soil, calcium is absorbed at the optimal PH and higher but in hydro, calcium is absorbed at the optimal PH and lower.

There's some weird chemistry going on there. Lol
