My window plant has some pretty bent and wonky leaves but I figure they are just trying to aim towards the light.?

She appears to have close nodes which is what I want.
I don't know how much she'll stretch between nodes when the stretch kicks in.

I'm really digging watching the roots grow.
I'm more interested in watching the roots grow than the leaves. Lol

This is a White Widow Autoflower I grew last year.
This is her after one month.

I had five 10 Watt SILs (800 lumens) at about 21" from the plant.

This is my plant now after one month.

The ceiling strips are 4' above the plant but the LUX reading is about the same at the soil level with both.
(using my phone app which isn't accurate but I figure it's good enough for comparisons)

I'm figuring she's not getting enough light, so I turned up the side lights.

I'm thinking of using my new one foot strips to make an adjustable light fixture that I can raise and lower.

I think she needs more light?

And if it's from above, she will stretch towards it.
I want a 3'-4' plant.

What is your lumen count at 3 " 6"?

My lumens were 7280 at the soil with the 2' strips at four feet.

The 5 SILs were about the same at 21"-24" above the soil.

I will check the lumens again when the lights come on at 4 pm.

I'll measure the distance and the lumens at the top of the plant.

What is your lumen count at 3 " 6"?

Remember, this is with my phone app and I didn't calibrate it ( I think you need a proper meter for reference?)

But, I'm comparing my LED SILs to my LED strips, so I think I can compare the ratios as opposed to the actual numbers.

Window plant looks root bound and heat stressed,

That's OK as long as she's got close nodes and stays less than about two feet tall.

closet looks heat stressed and likely getting a little thirsty.

Yeah, she looks pretty feeble.

The temperature is right in the range and she's wet right up to the top of the soil.

Maybe too wet??

Unfortunately, underwatering and overwatering look very similar.

I'm thinking she just needs more light.

And I don't think 7000 lumens from 5 SILs at 2' is the same difference as 7000 lumens from my strips at 4'.

I didn't want to experiment with my closet plant but I guess that's what I'm doing.

I measured the light at the top of the plant and got 33,000 lux.

I figured that's too much so I raised the light.

There, ... 15,000 lux.

Temperature and humidity look OK.

They look pretty good but I'm not going to be smoking them anyway.
Even if they don't get stolen, they're going to be loaded with seeds.
Everybody is growing weed now and the neighborhood is going to be full of pollen.
A lot of people don't know the difference between male and female plants.

My closet plant is looking happier now.
I think she just needed more light.

Hopefully, she will start filling in now.

I turned off the sidelights and I'll turn them back on when she's quite a bit taller.

I didn’t think you had anything against seeded weed? If nothing else it makes nice dry sift hash.

Yeah but its outdoor weed. We call it field weed.

Around here that just means it's crap.

We don't have a good climate for growing.

This is a Canadian greenhouse... Lol

Those damn bear thugs know when to harvest our weed.

My goal is to have no seeds in my closet (or window sill )

I changed up my window plant again...

I'll remove the buckets as she grows...

I wanna fill the reservoir with roots and nutes... Lol
