Apparently, the cheap electricity ends at the end of this week, so I adjusted the timing for my closet to be off for four hours during the expensive peak period.

My closet is now off from 11 am until 3 pm.

That should help a bit but my plant has to readjust.

But it's an Autoflower so it shouldn't be a big deal.

The window plant still needs to be off at night, but it's only 50 Watts so not a big deal.

I turned on all 5 lights to get her used to it and get her to stop reaching.

I might go 18/6 for timing when she goes into flower.

That's the most expensive time and 18 hours of sunshine may very well be enough to give her a good tan. Lol

My window plant looks like she's shielding herself from the Sun.

I unscrewed two bulbs.

I will screw them back in a week or two.

Or tonight if I forget what I said.

Two sets of leaves!!

My outdoor plants are looking a little pale/yellow on their new growth.

So I whipped up some CalMag and gave them a dose.
I figured they needed it because I'm using off the shelf Miracle Grow nutes that don't have any Calcium or Magnesium.

My closet plant is looking pretty good.
Almost time for some nutes.

My car plant has a big fan leaf that's dying and I was thinking of removing it.

But then I thought the plant is probably pulling nutes out of it to feed the rest of the plant. (like Calcium and Magnesium), and the only bad thing about a dying leaf is that it's blocking light from the leaves underneath.

I'm just going to leave it, and it might be a good indicator of if she now has enough Calcium and Magnesium.

If she stops fading it probably means the plant is pulling nutes from the roots and doesn't need to pull from the fan leaf anymore.

My window plant...

I decided to back the lights off.

I decided to change my lighting again.

Just side lighting to try to keep her short.

I figure it's a form of LST...
Light Side Training. Lol

I want close nodes.

She's two weeks old today.

My window plant.

There's a bunch of roots reaching for the water now.

how are the outdoor plants dealing with todays chill?

Not too bad.

They're still pale on their new growth though.
I don't know if it hasn't had enough time yet to absorb the CalMag or if the leaves won't recover.

It was 7°C last night but no frost.
That should toughen them up. Lol

They're both White Widow too which I think is a pretty tough strain.

The pale leaves appear to be darkening up.

My fence plant looks great.
(except for the bird shit. Lol)

The dying fan leaf on my car plant was looking pretty grim, so I pinched it off.

Then I noticed that I had snapped another stem.

It's on the ground and reaching up for the light.
I'm just going to leave it and see what happens.

Now I just have to make sure that I don't run it over with the lawnmower or weed eater. Lol
