You can dilute regular silicone with camp fuel (naphtha) so that you can spread it with a paint brush or roller.

My tent is now waterproof.

You can buy silicone spray in a can, but it's about $12 a can, doesn't work worth a crap, and you have to do it every year.

It would probably take 3 cans a year to waterproof my tent.

My diluted silicone cost $5 for a tube of silicone, and the camp fuel was maybe another $5 worth.

My tent is now completely waterproof and will stay that way for at least 7 years, maybe a lifetime ??

Fricken Cat !!!

She decided to climb up the front of my tent and park her sorry ass between the fly and the tent, all hammock style !!!

I don't care that she's on top of my tent but now I've got nail holes in my freshly waterproofed tent !!!

Now I might have to seal my tent on a weekly basis. Lol

Stupid cat !!@?&$

Ohh well,.. It's a 25 year old tent...

My plant is looking good, she seems healthy now.

The PH keeps going up, so I'm just going to feed her the nute solution without adjusting the PH.

The nute solution has a PH of about 5.2.

I'll pour it through the plant then check the PH of the runoff in the reservoir.

My Grub Grenade showed up yesterday, so I got my big SIP container put together.

I reused the clay pellets that are wrapped in netting to help keep the "soil" from washing down to the bottom of the container.
They fill about half of the container.

I used new coco coir and perlite, and rinsed them both.

I kinda went overkill with my Grub Grenade.
I bought the package with 5000 soil mites.

It's good for 200-500 Square feet.

I've only got 1 Square foot. Lol

And my planter is sterile, so they have nothing to eat.
They are all going to starve to death. Lol

The 500 size package of Grub Grenade was $32, and the 5000 size was $50, so I just bought the big size.

I ended up putting some in my SIP container in the closet, as well as putting some in my containers of soil that I have in the garage.

I finally calibrated my new PH meter.

It was a little off, but not by too much.

After calibration...

I did the 4.01 and 9.18 solutions as well.

I also found the owners manual.
It was in the box the whole time.??

It did mention to put a small about of "Replenishing Fluid" in the storage cap to keep the electrodes moist.

I assume that they are referring to Storage Solution?

I have stuff to make my own, but I think that I still need to get some Potassium Chloride??,, and I need to look up how to make it again.

The one electrode on the meter looks like it may be contaminated??
(but I don't know what it is supposed to look like??)

I wonder if my testing of the algae filled reservoir is a bad idea??

I have received more seeds from both Fitzera and ReikoX, so I'm all set now.

Thanks guys. :thank you:

So now I've got enough seeds to last me for years.
Let's hope that I can keep these ones safe.

They will need lots of LITFA. lol

I can still see pictures in the posts above... not sure what do you mean you can't see pictures.

You have to click on them now, and when I do, the picture is bouncing all around and won't stay centered on my screen (I use a smart phone).

Before, I used "embed" (or whatever it's called) the picture right on my post.

This is what I see when I click on the pictures...

Then it goes black and there is no picture...

I used Post Image for the screenshots...

I figured it out...

I must have hit the "x" on the attachment screen, and it disappeared.

I had to hit the paperclip 📎 to turn it back on...
