how are you set up? lights, plumbing, etc. especially the etc.
3.5s stacked.

Bases plumbed off of control 3/4" throughout.

Three rows of four PPKs. Totally interconnected. The rows are connected in series, and the end walls inter connect. The new solution feeds opposite side from the location of the pump. Trying to improve solution mixing and level balancing.

Two rows of lamps, 3Kx2. Bare bulbs. Vertical. No horizontal supplementation at this time.

Pulse off of 1" mainline/manifold, with 1/2" to plant surface surface. Dump about 1/3 gallon in about 5 seconds on the tops, every 50 minutes or so. Hope to modify that with an improved pulse reservoir volume, a better pump, so that I can truly flood the entire surface. Presently, the solution is not dispersed well, and isn't fast enough to puddle. Materials aren't locally available, so I need to order some stuff in.

Media buckets are drilled out on the bottom for drainage/gas displacement. No way out but down. No side wall holes. Trying to force the issue with media-gas exchange, but until I get the new pumps, it's all speculation. Will check out root mass post harvest and respond accordingly.

Pic is at 4-5 weeks. It runs 10ish.

Everything is running smooth, so I'm prepping for some lighting improvement/experimentation, but I'm having trouble sourcing the product line I want to run.

hey, people! someone take a quick look at this and see if it looks good. i have one breaker installed on the upper left and have the white and ground together. i just want to know if it is ok before i continue. the house panel is not hooked up to this yet.

Hi D9 i'm looking at your panel & you could use a ground bus bar. That unmarked (no colored tape) conductor is the ground right? IF Add a bus bar like the neutral side has and shoot those bare copper grounds to that side. And you probably didn't need to pop out the 2" spacer at the bottom of the panel for a 14/2 romex.. Be sure to add a insulated fitting or bushing around that knock out too. Sharp metal against hot romex is :clock watch: Otherwise looks good!

hey, irobotsd! welcome! and thank you! i didn't know if it was ok to run the ground and neutral together as the other panel has them all tied together.

why do they need to be separated when they all connect to the same bar?

there will be a bunch of 14-2 romex in that hole but i realized that it was too big for even that after i had smacked it with a hammer.

i'll take the first one off and install a bushing.

Yes in fact we will need detailed specs of your growing environment and cultivation method to review at our daily board meeting just to be sure your up to snuff with your endeavors......

specifically what you think your going to accomplish with all 50' of that air hose?
You didnt even show us what kind of air pump or air stone you are planning to use.

From the looks of it you have no idea what your trying to accomplish...... so tells us a horticultural fairy tale with lots and lots more pictures so we can all tuck ourselves in and have sweet dreams.

i've done all the wiring and have the 89' ground rod half driven. only 8' but it seems longer in this rocky ground. three pound maul. have half the lights hung.

today my big life lesson was that it takes twice as long to hang 12 as it does to hang 6. i feel so enlightened!

here is a pic of the house panel again. this time with the cover off. tomorrow i need to wire it. i have the lug nut thingy to go on the neutral bus. is there any particular place it should be?

also, can i just attach the ground wire to the green screw at the top right of the panel?

I remember a few grounding rods that took nearly a day to drive in even with a sledge. When I was lucky the boss had the jackhammer with a fitting that would slip over the grounding rod.

Be careful when working with your panel. My boss told my as I was landing the drop from the power company that it explodes your heart if you fuck up...so please DONT FUCK UP cuz I really like ya.

touching the big screws to the left of the green screw in the top right corner of your pic WILL KILL YOU.

Thought that panel had a cover over the top (covering the MAIN breaker and up). If it does, replace it ok?

EVEN IF THE MAIN IS OFF THOSE WIRES WILL KILL YOU because they are still live. They connect to the power company.

(not to sound patronizing but this is really serious. if you already know this please disregard but I have to be sure this is really clear)

both the neutral lug and the ground wire can go anywhere on their respective buses/bars where they can be clamped down tight.

I'm not sure if you'll get 8 AWG around a screw very well. you could put a ring terminal on it but crimping 8 isn't fun. If you bought some of those blocks then use that. as long as you screw down onto the cable for a good solid connection you'll be ok.

the panel is just as it was. meaning i haven't removed anything.

this is the most dangerous part of the whole thing. i realize those wires are hot and the only way to get them turned off is to call the power company. i'm not touching them.

i'll throw the switch and very carefully, with gloves and insulated tools, install and wire the nuts.
