Thats pretty crazy, I lived over 20 years in PTY, there is a set of Islands about 2-3 hours away from Panama City, they are called "Islas Las Perlas" (Pear Islands) , and there is one called Casaya and the other Casayita, I remember going to Casayita when i was 15 and they literally had HUGEEEEE ganja plants growing all over the island. I traded cartons of cigarettes and they gave me literal plastic supermarket bags full of seedy, leafy airy "buds" I had to smoke like 3 joints just to get a buzz. clearly the tourist treatment... but they called it Nacional, A couple days later we finally got some sin semilla and it was amazing,

I ended up having 1 m and 1 f,,but the female is kicking ass,,around 2 feet now,,took some clones. She has a very skunky smell to her..I fully expect her to reach 15ft or more.I also have very good representation of Violetta that I took a few clones of..To me,,as someone else has said,,I feel almost a kind of spiritual connection with these...They are really beautiful to look at..

The soil is a little hot...

The soil is a little hot...

... but her looks are not. Lol. Weird leaf set, keeping an eye out on this one for any other unique traits. I've never personally seen this trait in plants, but have heard of it in indicas. Anyone have experience with it?

Greetings! Just soaking a Panama fem for planting this coming May full moon on May 11
Really love the Ace strainsI run currently and this Panama takes me back to my childhood smokes. We could score 2oz leafy imported Panama for very good prices! So much led to over indulgence and wow! Magic carpet rides were not unheard of.... So am looking forward to taking my trip down memory lane with her.
Am growing indoors in pure coco.
Will post a thread once she begins life.
Happy growing to all.

I just finished 5 Panama ladies from an old packet bought a good few years ago - the phenos were all green, including a tiny indica (not sure where she popped out from...)
The others were all huge and productive sativas with mass resin and lovely smells. All curing now.

I have crossed the 3 best females with some Acapulco Gold pollen from a male I selected for quick flowering and nice structure. let's wait and see...

What a great plant! I have just bought 2 more packets for future use.

Cheers Ace Seeds. Let's hope the highs match the yields!

Hi everyone. Here's my latest Panama girl, she was the runt but she's bounced back quite nicely showing great vigor in flower. I'm assuming it's the red pheno, having these bright red stems through her entire life. Looks and smells like candy! Can't wait to try her out.

Well done Pandy. Looks very tasty. I just planted a Panama fem and she broke ground today. Looking forward to this trip down memory lane strain selection I have been running.
Would be interested in knowing about the feminized Panama and what kind of expressions to look out for. I remember the pink and purple red tuffs among all the leafy greens when I used to last get it back in the 80s.
Look forward to hearing your smoke report Pandy

Love It!

Panama is just as described. lots of positive things to say. light penetration and bud density are great. taste is great. resin galore...a few different smells have popped up, all in the same ballpark of lemon/incense. effect is friendly. love it

So good thing is my wife wont be smokin my stash this summer yesss...
3 Panamas were easy to grow-they mainly received only water via blumats (2 carrots per 11l pot) its a shame i havent repoted them in 18 l pots..next time mybe.
