This Panama has a nice sweet chocolate incense aroma with a relaxing stoney effect that puts a smile on my face. Superb quality in both categories.:dance013:

Thanks guys honestly Im not sure which side this girl leans to, red or green. She is pretty tall after stretch, a little more height than the malawi x nevs wreck & Mextiza this round which she is sharing a bed with, but thats likely due to less topping/training.

^2 Panamas in here, Back center and back left are the same cut
The effect in my opinion is subjective based on the user and setting/circumstances, but I get a nice heavy eyed feeling and great back relief with this lady like the pain lets go and my nerves relax. Not sleepy, just cozy, overindulgence will lead to sleep though:biggrin:. In the jars less than a month so we'll see how it ends up.

hello,

i have 1x panama growing, from regs - 2/3 were male, but i think i got a green one that exhibited double serrations on leaves and was more upright (culled)

the red male exhibited some colouration on the stem (accidentally culled)

the red were very dark green (-if not helped by over N) and had more of a branchy structure and wavy leaf margin.

here is a picture of the remaining female:

just starting to show pink :)

- please can anyone tell me if the pink pistils are usually dominant when outcrossing ?

thanks

I've got six female Panama. I've been flowering them indoors for five weeks and I'll upload some pictures as soon as I have some good ones. They need a while to start flowering but as soon as they start they don't look like stopping anymore.

These are clones from the first five plants, from #1 to #5. They've been outdoors for a couple of weeks but they are growing so fast that I won't be able to finish them outdors... the neibourghs will notice. They've been neglected in a dark and windy place and still looking good. I'm bringing them indoors to flower and I will take some little clones outdoors to flower. I wish to see some pink hairs.

Cheers.

Panama fem, 49 north Slovakia , growing well in forest soil with cow and chicken manure. planted to test in my conditions

You never really know until you try...

I have my favorite 2 Panama clones outside this year at about 45N in Ontario.

I am guessing they will be flowering into mid-November, but we will tarp them for frost and hopefully it is a long season! Or we get lucky and they are late October plants!

I also planted my favorite Kali Mist cutting along side the Panamas, she is fast for a Kali Mist. Like I said you never really know until you try.

Why not tarp now instead of later, to me it would be less hair pulling?

This is a good idea. Light deprivation and some sativas sounds great. Unfortunately my help on this grow might not be reliable enough to tarp the plant at the same time every night. Next summer I am going to try to get a good light deprivation grow rolling. Definitely a great idea for us up north.

That makes sense, I hope you get a nice fall to finish her properly and next year you can do something different if you chose.

Hi Collembola,

The Panama pink pistil is not so evident when Panama is grown indoors,
but yours is clearly starting to show it.

As others experienced here, if you take and outcross a very pinkish Panama female with another strain then a good amount of the hybrid offspring will show the trait, especially outdoors, but i also depends a lot on the concrete cross you are making and the genetic combination ability of the different strains you are working with.

The % of of pinkish plants in your hybrid cannot be fully anticipated when is outcrossed with a new strain.

Thanks Carraxe for sharing your Panamas,
Hope they perform well in your indoor setup and outdoors at your location. Best wishes!

i do not know how to pick genetics to cross, on paper - ATALL (???).

for me please, as someone who has only really grown "dutch hybrids" before, and never made seeds.

please could someone advise, what would be the best cross out of nepjam, pck or bangi haze ?

- i am after the most potent, psychoactive cross;

1)psychoativity 2)potency 3)suitability for tent 4)yield

- is that probably the bangi haze ?

thankyou for any help!!!
