Wow, nice looking plant. Is this under led? Looks a lot like my green energetic panama fem, been vaping it lately in the mornings before ice fishing trips to get the day started.. ;D

Thanks! Yeah, green pheno is nice. I like it, very nice smoke and a pleasure to grow. This was flowered under MH, the light coloration is just from temps at night. Getting down to like high 50s in lights off.

Great daytime smoke for sure :smoke:

Panama female regular taken a few weeks ago. Since then she has been pollenated by a Vietnamese Black male.

I used a Panama male to pollenate Genius and I'll also be making some Panama x Panama seeds.

She's only a few weeks in to flower right now.

I managed to reacquire Geniusm and I'm hoping Panama can bulk up her floppy stems.

I cut down a Panama Goddess x Honduras tonight.

I got an PCK x Panama from the limited edition that were sold last September so I will post it here.
This is at Day 55. She seems almost ready?
Has a lemony panama flavour with a lil berry fruity aroma in the background. And one of the top shoots grew down and not up lol!
It is the most resinous of all my plants right now, most leafs have some.
Very excited to try some of these :)

my cross with panama

my cross with panama

Hi everybody,
it is with humility and admiration for the real professionals that I would like to share and show you my cross with ace panama. (and some advice to improve it is welcome!)
Admiring Mr. Bubbleman and Mr. Sam Skunkman very much, my intent was to try to create a monstrous outdoor plant for kief production. So I started in 2013 with a female panama ace taken to wien in flowery field and I crossed with a male roja cloud that seemed to me predominantly Lebanese, given its reddish color.
After reading a bit of hashish! by Robert Clarke I started thinking of crossing the plants from which the most legendary hashish came: red lebanese and red panama. The generation f1 was beautiful and very good very fruity and covered with resin. Then I recrossed another 2 times but unfortunately I could not select properly and the genetics lost power and structure and becoming very fluffy! then continuing with the same philosophy, I crossed with maroc (mostly sativa) of female seed and finally with bubba kush v2 (indica - og kush x bubba kush).
all exclusively in outdoor!
this year I read about crossing a hybrid 50 50 with another would have had good results and then I tried to cross it with a male white widow of dutch passion.

[(ACE Panama (selected by Flowery Field - green pheno better for outdoor) x Asturjaya - Nube Roja (Lebanon x Pakistan) male) F3 x Female seeds - Maroc ] x Bubba Kush v2 - humbolt seed

now the plants are very resinous and have a basic flavor of lemon biscuits. they are very homogeneous and very resistant to molds but not very fast, the photo is from October 20th at latitude 46.
After having mixed it with bubba, the flower seemed to me to return more like panama but fatter and so I called it Panama Bitch :)

I like panama and hybrids because of that second wind that they catch mid flower. Organic mix soil, water only. Winter makes fun colors

All these pistils

I ended up getting 6.2 ounces out of my rootbound plant. Not bad. Here's the all the top shelf buds curing away in the jar:

Here's a quick bud that I pulled out to vape on. I'll try to give a fresh smoke report soon.

Hi. How long can I expect the flowering of Panama to begin? 12/12 from seed. Now my plant is 5 weeks old.

when i read that flowering time was happening for 12-14 weeks for some folks, I planned for an extended bloom.. what I didn't expect is to have one near complete at 8 weeks. yes, i could have left it a little longer, but i wanted to try to have some ready for a trip i'm making in a few weeks...looking in the jewelers loupe I was surprised to see that many trichs were milky, and some were already amber.. i don't have the amazing lights, or the ability to use the sun, I am using a 260w QB kit from HLG.. I am eager to hear comments and even the ones where my fellow stoners talking smack.. here is what they look like now.. 8 weeks of 12/12 tomorrow. the one picture taken outside is the one i cut, and i tried to take a picture with my phone through the loupe, that's the best i could do..

It's pure Vietnamese Black I obtained from another source.

I had VB years ago from the old Cbay auction from anon. **********.eu falsely attributes Vietnamese Black to Dutch Flowers. Dutch Flowers never produced any Vietnamese strains or hybrids. Anon was the only source that I'm aware of. Same place Dubi got the VB for his orient express.

Here's a pic of one of my VB females

Many thanks. That's a lanky beauty. There's a bunch of us that would love to get our hands on VB pure, rather than a hybrid...It would be great if Ace would get more of the past pure strains like VB out there. I also hope you can keep those going and somehow get them out there in the future. Keep up the good work.

I was in vietnam about 10 years ago hiking on some back trail, the wind shifted, and the sweet smell of a field of weed hit our group...we all just looked at each other thinking, damn, gotta get some of that, but we didn't want to trek into some field without an invite...

I wrote up a smoke report for my Panama, and I figured I should share it in here, for posterity....

First of all, when I crack that jar open, I always want to have my nostrils right there, ready to go, all the air pushed out of my lungs so the next inhale will be all terps... As the seal around that lid pops open, I inhale through my nose deeply, filling my brain with molecules of aromas that are deeply nostalgic to me, vaguely reminiscent of something from my past, almost like a fleeting moment of deja vu, leaving behind a sweet, mentholated aftertaste that is highly unusual and unfamiliar to me as my brain shifts the experience from an aromatic one to a flavorful one. It tastes just like it smells, but it doesn't. There is definitely menthol on the inhale, clearing my nasal passages much like a cough drop would and allowing for more of the sweet and spicy to come through... but there's no menthol taste on the tongue afterward. The most prominent, pungent part of the aroma cocktail is a citrusy, lemon-lime smell, but there's so much going on that to stop there would be wrong. It's the first variety I've ever grown which inspired me to use the word "umami" to describe its aroma and flavor.

It's a very leafy variety, and probably close to half of the weight of the flowers is all leaf. While manicuring, I considered leaving the buds a bit grassier than I normally do, because I thought a lot of the good stuff was ending up in the trim pile. I still ended up trimming them all the way, for the most part, and just jarred up all of the trim to save for later. This wasn't the most resinous plant I've ever grown, but it does have visible trichomes, small ones, and they do cover the entire buds. It still requires me to use a grinder, because if I break it up with my fingers I end up with sticky kif on my hands. It's just...noticeably not as crystally as the wide leaf varieties of cannabis that I typically grow.

I don't smoke anymore, so I guess this is technically a vape report, not a smoke report, but I grind up the appropriate amount of herb, pack it in the heating chamber, and let 'er rip. Okay, THERE's that menthol. The vapor tastes strongly like lemon citrus sweetness mixed with menthol mixed with some complex umami spice that reminds me of a hibachi restaurant. By the time the vape bowl is finished, I'm feeling it already, but it's light, so I generally have to do two of them. By the time the second one is in mid session, I'm totally feeling it.

And "it" has been VERY difficult to put my finger on! It certainly doesn't have anything reminiscent to a Kush or Afghani type of high, that's the first thing I notice. I don't feel heavier or that my muscles have to work harder at menial tasks, nothing like that. But to say there's no body high wouldn't be accurate... There's something there... like a buzzing, or a vibrating. Very euphoric, actually, but only when I pay attention to it. It doesn't consume the experience at all. But what DOES consume the experience is an overwhelming need to DO SHIT! Haha. Seriously, and I didn't notice it at first, but looking back on it it's been this way all along, it makes me do chores! It consistently puts me on one of those "cleaning highs" that people talk about. This realization made me start perceiving the effects of this variety in a different way than I've payed attention to cannabis effects before, and that is, I now see that this is basically Adderall herb! Seriously! I am prescribed Adderall for my ADHD, and I don't take it anymore because the medicinal effects of it require dealing with the amphetaminey side effects of it, which I don't like. But getting high on the Panama Green apparently has all of the medicinal effects of the Adderall, but with mild euphoria instead of dysphoria! So this has some medicinal benefits I wasn't expecting, or even looking for.

The high lasts a pretty typical amount of time. Nothing unusual there. But interestingly, when it wears off the energy goes away and I could actually take a nap if I wanted to. This has meant that it's not keeping me up at night, either, which is nice since I don't have any anti-insomnia varieties in my garden at the moment. I've even vaped some right before going to bed, and it didn't keep me up, or have my restless leg thing act up or anything like that. I've also vaped it before going to work, and it doesn't get in the way of anything. I will say, though, that it gives me red eyes big time. That's funny, because that's something that used to be so hand in hand with marijuana back in the 90s when I first started, when it was all compressed Mexi brick, and I had noticed how over the years with the majority of the genetics currently out there in the recreational scenes, it never really gave me red eyes, and so keeping visine on me hasn't been something I've had to do since so, so long ago! I might actually have to go out and buy some again for the first time as an adult.

In summary, this is one of the most unusual, strange, unique, and medicinal varieties I've ever grown before, and now I know that I definitely need to always have it around. My apartment is so tidy, and orderly, and all of my chores keep getting done!
