Alright alright..... the freebie tester girl has been hung and is now jarred. I still need to do a little burping as I’m stabilized at 67% rh right now and I leave for Chile on Friday for two weeks
.... but I can burp the jars for the next few evenings and see if I can get that closer around 60% before I leave.
When I chopped a week or so ago I put aside a small tester bud and it’s been quick drying in a cabinet while the rest was getting a proper cure.
I took four good pulls off a simple glass pipe last night. The nose on the jar is almost pure pine, with maybe a little funk lingering in the background. I’m not going to really comment on taste as it hasn’t seen any cure yet and that wouldn’t really be worth thinking about at this stage. The first few hits were pretty harsh as can be expected, but the high set in almost immediately.
A fairly good head rush right out of the gate ramping up over the next 20 minutes to what I can only describe as a head ringer. Felt fairly potent but I haven’t been smoking much lately so my tolerance should be way down. After another 30 minutes or so of having my bell rung it settled into a heavy, relaxing high dragging me very quickly towards heavy relaxation. Major appetite stimulant I was raiding the kitchen for nearly anything I could find, major munchies.... sex with the girl had that typical cannabis glow before passing out quickly, waking up this morning with a calm-ish mind which is rare for me these days. Maybe it was because I smoked after a long 12 hr work day but overall a pretty heavy, pleasant, sedative type effect as you would expect from a heavy indica cross (OG x GDP).
So as of now I consider the cabinet officially up and running, and the test grow was a success that allowed me to iron out a few issues with its design. This grow log is now considered complete and we are off to the races with ACEs Panama. .... And some dried nug shots off her, this is personal so I didn’t trim it too tight, overall yielded a little over an ounce, maybe 1.5 oz. not bad for a tiny 15” plant.
