i think one thing we all must understand is that if we own guns because we don't have the cops, then a whole new (maybe worse) situation arises. what if you have to shoot someone trying to steal your plants? then you have killed someone. you have a body in your house presumably. sure if they have a gun, and its you or them do what you got to do, but its definetly something to think about. i really think that dogs and heavy security would be the best options. reinforce doors and barred windows. also a cop once told me that he has never had to use his shotgun after he pumps it. that sound alone is enough to stop any person 5% sane or more.

I got a paint ball blow gun, but the damn paintballs won't break when I hit the cat's ass. And the cat don't usually give me 5-6 shots to range in to target. Ain't my cat.

hmmm,

So you don't need permits in Alaska or Vermont?

Could I just go into a shop and buy one with cash no questions asked?

i dont know about purchasing the firearm but i know those two are the most liberal about carrying in public

Alaska does not require permits for carrying weapons, background checks, or licensing

Southern states also love there gun laws...gotta love the wild west. I think id get a dog before a gun though. I have anger problems and i think enough adrenaline in that state to take a few bullets and ill tell you id take those bullets over prison any day **** getting locked up. Id be in constant solitary.

It's not a Vulcan. Vulcans fire 20mm rounds. I doubt the gun weighs anything less that 500 lbs. However, you can own a mini-gun :joint:

M134A Mini-gun

All you need is $65,000, a Class 3 weapons license and an FFL (Federal Firearms License.)

I have a class 3 license, which allows me to own full-auto weapons- like the MAC-10, AR-15 w/ select fire (which is pretty much an M4- like the marines use), M203 Grenade launcher, etc.

In order to get access to pretty much any gun you want you need an FFL. However, once you have an FFL you give ATF the right to come to your home any time they want. They can come audit you whenever with a list of all your registered class 3+ firearms and you must be able to show them every last gun, and they must be locked up in the appropriate manner. I doubt they'd be fond of a silenced MAC-10 under the bed......

As for carrying the gun in my state, you can go anywhere that does not have a NO FIREARMS sign posted. No government property either such as schools, courthouse, etc. You can't carry guns where alcohol is served such as bars and sporting events either. I will be completely honest- mine goes everywhere I do. I don't care if it is a school, college, bar, hockey game, etc. The damn gun is coming with me because I never know when some psycho or drugged out freak is going to do something stupid. Its a risk I am willing to take.

As for the Australian dog mentioned- my buddy who is a huge pitbull fan told me about this dog called an Argentian Dogo. Basically it is a HUGE white pitbull looking dog with MASSIVE stopping power. When I get some land I will get one of these and 2 german shephards all as puppies so they grow up together. I love shepards- they are the best guard dog hands down- if they weren't so damn good, the cops wouldn't use them.... Here's a pic of the Argentine Dogo:

I'm with you on the storage locker. Keep everything there except my 1911 and the blooper under the bed. Noticed you went with the XD. I wasn't fond of the trigger on that model. Did you make any changes or carry stock?

At least if you have a firearm you still get a chance at a trial. Sometimes no weapon=no life.

Plus where I live there are a lot of places to hide "evidence."

this is the most rational comment on here yet.....guns+drugs=bad freakin news in the US......

For all you bad ass gangsters (the cat that lives off-grid excepted) talking about your hardware and your grow, better think real hard about what type of hardware you are going to be arming yourself with inside. better get to work on those shanks now, and be prepared to use them because you will do more time.

Finally, the cat that posted the pic of the shotgun toting jihhadist in front of his two ounce string is one bad dude.......I am sure of that.

Both those Weapons are BB guns.....they are not "Gatling Guns".

My state has 10-20-Life as a gun deterrent. Have a gun during the commission of a crime there is a 10 year minimum mandatory sentence. Fire a gun during the commission of a crime there is a 20 year minimum sentence. Shoot a person during the course of a crime there is a 25 year to Life minimum sentence.

**** GUNS. Go to the gym get in shape, buy a guard dog.

wikipedia the m61 vulcan and it says it is a gatling gun.
Yes the M61 is its also a 20mm...... but I thought you were refering to the weapon used in T2 and Predator
which was a M134 Mini-Gun
But the one used in the Movie was a BB gun.....It runs on compressed air there is Video on youtube

i stand corrected. always thought mini-gun was a nickname. the vulcan weighs 248lbs without the ammo feed, so you'd have to have a strongman title to even carry it.

Silly--Silly Man.....
Lets think about this in a "Real World "situation.....
Let's Just say that "Patrick" and I are Neighbors......
I just happen to get home before you today.....
I let my dog out....funny thing your Dog does not bark at us like he has since he was a puppy.....I look over the fence....to see your Big Beatiful Rotty DEAD by the Garage door.
Now I can see 3 strange Trucks in your yard.....and thru the Picture window I see your Wife and two daughters and 7 guys that are not there to "Dance" at this point .......

In your world....I go over and get my ASS kicked after I call the Cops...to protect your family until help arrives?

In my world....Myself and my three Dogs that know your wife and Daughters....Kick in your front door (sorry bout the door) Packin' My AK-74(thats not a typo) with 2-40 round clips...and dump 5-7 rounds into the floor and order everyone to the ground....taking control of a BAD situation....while on the Phone to 911.....
I'll go to JAIL for the right to do that anyday

^Haha I was gonna drop that quote.

But for the people that don't wanna risk it, I bring you the laser-sighted taser gun! Not quite the stopping power of a .45, and reloading the mag after each shot is brutal is there are multiple assailants, but it's a shit load better than a knife!

The TASER X26 uses a replaceable cartridge containing compressed nitrogen to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER X26 by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 35 feet (10.6 meters). The TASER X26 transmits electrical pulses along the wires and into the body affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing, or one inch per probe.

Plus, the red laser will scare the shit outa someone.

Only drawback to that is when fire it you better be able to explain Where and Why...it drops several hundred micro-chips when it is deployed....CSI has a reader to find them and they ID back to you

no family no problems. theres one person on earth that knows my grow, not too worried about my life long best friend ripping me. for the price of holding my deepest darkest secret he gets free fresh greens and keeps his trap shut.

"Don't tell anyone you don't trust with your life"

It's all about assessing risk, you could lose everything and spend a very long time in jail even longer with a gun involved in the equation.

Remember, even if you do everything right there is always a chance that the 5-0 might show up, to me its more worth it to pass on owning a gun. just my opinion. :joint:
