Strain/Breeder: Bubba Kush
Harvest time: End of May
Latitude of grow: Pacific Coast USA
Location: USA
Average yield: smal plant - smal yield
Mold?: No
Potentcy: 8/10
Year of grow: 2007
Outdoor Rating
Started inside put out for 2months with some guanos. Flushed for 3 weeks and ash turns to pure white. High is good with strong kush tastes. Pure head stash. Drops your eyes a bit. Great to share with a friend in need. Medicnal value is top notch if left to fully mature.

So any ones out there that will put out atleast 2-3#? I love the reports Silver btw.

Strain/Breeder: Durga Matta/ Paradise Seeds
Harvest time: September 25.......Needs to go til first week of October.
Latitude of grow: 36N
Location: High desert, Southwest United States
Average yield: Half pound per 4'x4' bush.
Mold?: None..
Potentcy: See below.
Year of grow: 2007

Durga Matta, "The mother goddess"..This strain is rewarding in many ways. It has a very nice structure and potency. She takes to high nutrient levels very well. She stayed close to the ground( bushy) despite her slender leaf profile...The most notable thing I can say about the Durga Matta is the phenotypes,,,,while the plant structure is relitavely simmilar between phenos, the potency and bud density is not.....I had two main phenotypes, one had loose , whispy nuggs with fair resin coverage. Not the best ..The second was phenomenal!....Outstanding resin coverage, very light lime greed color, dense buds, good bag apeal. The high is heavy and lasting, yet she is kinda lacking in flavor..Its hard to get tired of. Been smoing this pheno since harvest, still messes me up. Durga matta is definantly worth a try...Paradise seeds seems to have some good stuff.

This was the better of the two phenotypes 2 weeks before harvest..

Strain/Breeder: Sensi Star/ Paradise Seeds
Harvest time: Sept 25....needs til the first weeks of October
Latitude of grow: 36N
Location: High desert, Southwest United States
Average yield: Half pound per 4'x4' bush
Mold?: none
Potentcy:7 out of 10....Didnt get to smoke a finished product..
Year of grow:2007

Sensi Star has some of the largest leaves ive ever seen. She had a very distinguishable leaf profile. Could pick her out of a crowd from 75feet. The buds were quite dense for not being ready. Flavor and bag apeal were lacking, but would have been much better if I had gotten to run her til Oct 12..I know the star has great potential, I just never got to see it. I would definantly recommend growing it, just as long as you have the season for it.

Strain/Breeder: Sweet Purple/ Paradise Seeds
Harvest time: Sept 15-20
Latitude of grow: 36N
Location:High desert, Southwest United States
Average yield: Half Pound Per 3'x3' plant
Mold?: none
Potentcy:5 out of 10
Year of grow:2007

Sweet purple is a nice early strain. She didnt end up getting very purple at all, despite being left out for a fiew mild frosts..just a hint of purple in the calyxes, none on the leaves. She is noteably vigorous, and has thin leaves with very rough serrations. Sweet Purple is definantly an "early harvest strain" with a uplifting motivational high..I use it as my morning bud..keeps me clear, jumpstarts my apetite, and loosens my muscles without the couchlock effects..Past morning, the stuff is pretty much useless, unless yer gonna load a bunch of hash or scuff on top. She just doesent have the ass kicking potency that some will want..Great flavor though, and very earthy tones to the smell. I will grow the SP again..

Location: EU
Average yield: 250 g
Mold?: non
Potency: 9/10 very strong
Year of grow:2004

very good strain, very early, typical skunk/afghan strain like Super

Skunk but more from the afghan side (like Mazar).
it's one of the best that i've ever tried.

Strain/Breeder: Shiva Skunk (Sensi)
Harvest time: mid to late Oct
Latitude of grow: 46°N
Location: EU
Average yield: 150 g / clone
Mold?: very little
Potency: 8/10 fruity smoke

nice yielder, compact, nice potent strain, typical skunk variation like

Skunk#1.

Strain/Breeder: Auto AK-47 (S_a_H)
Harvest time: June 27.! (9-10 weeks from seed to harvest)
Latitude of grow: 46° N
Location:EU
Average yield: max 1 OZ (30 g)
Mold?: a lil on some pheno (the best pheno had no mould ..the LR phenos

had..)
Potentcy: 7-8
Year of grow:2008

it was my first adventure with AF genetic. I couldn't believe this

"8-10 weeks, start to finish" thing but it's true! I had a really nice

AK-47 pheno.... non leafy buds, nice grape smell and flavour AND no

seeds! The more LR phenos produced some lil unmatured seeds but the AK

pheno is perfect! I would like to grow a lots of plants from the 10

weeks AK pheno next year.
All the plants sowed sex on the 3. week of grow (the boys earlier).

I have some pix what I'll post here soon.

Strain/Breeder:Top 44, Nirvana (Viking x Skunk)
Harvest time: Early October
Latitude of grow: Early 30s
Location: Asia - Humid
Average yield: High
Mold?: Yes, lost a lot to mold, but plants were in a bad spot for mold.
Potency: 7/10
Year of grow: 2007
Notes: Hardy, except for the mold. Big fat buds, quick finisher. Well balanced high, earlier buds that gave a speedier high matured into buds that gave a more body-leaning stone. Buds reek of baby poo. If I was going to grow again, I'd top more than once.

Apologies for the low quality pics, these were taken last year with my phone. Also, I lost all pics of Top44 growing. :violin:

Dunno where BC is? sent him this ages ago, hope your ok man.

Strain/Breeder: Rox, Paradise Seeds
Harvest time: Mid to end of October.
Latitude of grow: 52n
Location: UK
Average yield: 3 oz
Mold?: very little
Potentcy:6-7.5
Year of grow:2007

Probs with poor quality seed, & germination, Paradise said they would get me another pack, but didnt receive any?
Paradise plants are well bred & uniform, some of these plants looked like clones, they are so similar. Short, squat, round bushes, owes a bit to Erdbeer influences, responds to topping,. They didnt really start flowering here till sept 1, so I think the finish date is optimistic. Beautiful looking plants, strong & easy to grow, lovely big dark leaves, good flower to leaf ratio, easy to trim. Not a cash cropper but good for personal use. Easily the most mould resistant variety I have grown, survived a very wet autumn. Seems more prone to stem rot (scelerotina) than budrot (botrytus) rot. Stone is good, but not long lasting, a bit like green morroccan hash from the seventies, buds smell like it too!
I would reccomend to anyone who suffers the dreaded mould, & needs a low, easy to grow strain.

Footnote: I gave these to a friend who has MS (Multiple Sclerosis) he said it was definitely helpfull, but needed to smoke regularly for it to work.

bought a pack of each of these strains,Great vigour, easy to grow(guerilla)Unfotunetly None will finish this far north in my climate, they would probally be OK on the west coast of US and costal Europe.I'm a month away from killing frosts, and the SB just showing me popcorn buds on 1 plant. of the 5 NS i planted all were male, but they were all 7+ foot trees, flowers on those males showed late for me also.

I know I dont have enough posts for you BC, to add this, but someone might be able to use this info in conjunction with SilverBacks report.

I would think below 40N the NS would most likely be a great strain. the SB could probaly do ok up to 42/43ish.

BC, after further thought about this whole thread, another bit of usefull info would be USDA hardiness zone info on peoples grows. I live at 45N but my first frost is a month or two earler that folks living at 45N in europe or on the west coast like you. Flower gardeners tend to be able to relate hardiness area to length of season and first and last freezes, we would be wise to attempt the same!

see attatched links.
